I have a HTC Desire and i tried doing a factory reset in the HBOOT screen. After the reboot it kept getting stuck on the HBOOT. I´ve tried to install new pb99img but it only says that it cant find it. I´ve also tried system recoveries, doesn't work either. I can enter clockworkmod, but that doesn´t do much good. Plz advice. HBOOT displays this info:

First, I have read all I could on this forum about this.
I have rooted my phone with revolutionary tool (with clockwork 4). I was successful and everything was fine untile I install Rom Manager. I did update from the Rom manager then my phone froze and now it wont boot up
I tried booting in recovery and wiping everything. I tried reloading the rom I got (su-2.3.6.3-efgh-signed.zip), i tried doing the update with the PG86IMG.zip and no luck. Still stuck on the logo. I tried other roms and still stuck
I can access the menu by holding the volume key down and power. Here are the details

Did you do a full wipe before flashing the ROM?

yes I did wiped out everything. I got it working now using Virtuous rom 1.0.2
I guess all the other roms i tried did not work...

i try RCMIX 2.2.3 it error and i recover original ROM reboot it stock on HTC boot logo How i can do next?
- Try HTC Sync - notwork it can not detect device.

You guys know that cdma and gsm don't mix right???? That applies to kernels, roms, and a lot of other things. Make sure your installing the proper stuff for you phone.

I keep getting the white screen w/ HTC that seems to go forever but cannot get past that. I do get the "Sorry!" error message stating "The process com.htc.bg has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again". This is when that white htc screen takes over..
I am within my 30 days of getting this phone.. please let me know if any tips on fixing or how I can relock the phone and put it back to S-off if I want to return it.... Thanks in advance!
You got 2 options. You can ruu back to stock (make sure you relock) OR you can fastboot recovery and flash a rom.
EDIT: To relock I believe its fastboot oem lock .
What have you done to the phone so far? Is this a factory refresh after unlocking? Do you have Amon Ra on it yet? Have you rooted yet and made a nandroid? If you have a nandroid you can put that back using recovery.
Can you boot into bootloader or recovery?
I Installed A kernal and my my phone got stuck on the HTC logo screen...I Managed to get past that but now its stuck in Fastboot Mode

can u boot into recovery? did you do nandroid backup before flashing new kernel? if so restore it.

I have used the htcdev boot loader unlock.
Followed the super guide directions. I was able to get everything to work.
Now. Need to return to stock. But, when I try to flash the boot loader locked, it does it, but it reads "INFOlock successful. Failed (status read failed(protocol error))"
Btw: never root and flash your girlfriends new phone as a surprise without express permission and a three month tutorial.

I was given an HTC flyer(I think) from my brother because he said it didn't work. I'm looking to see if I can repair it. He said that he tried to update it and after the attempt, it was stuck at the splash screen. I"ve tried putting it in recovery, but after it makes an attempt, I get a red triangle with !. What are some other things I can try to restore functionality? Also, which RUU do I need to restore to factory?

In my htc desire 700 dual sim 709d, I replaced previously copied build.prop file overwriting new one. restarted device and it stuck at htc logo with black screen after it. unable to find stock rom. tried one or two but they resulted mismatches. I'm able to enter the bootloader menu but no stock recovery and even found cwm recovery not working. Boot loader is ready to lock/unlock it is unlocked now. my device wast rooted when it was ok. for a long time I am also seeking for s-off and super CID. tried one or two methods but it says lower hboot version.
Now I think the only way seems that I have to upgrade hboot for s-off and super CID only.
Q-1- My question is that which, how and from where I can get hboot for up gradation?
Q-2- How to s-off and get super CID?
Q-3- Which step of both the questions required to be perform first or kindly help with complete steps and methods to gain s-off and super cid.

I have the same problem, but I installed device spoofer and it also modified the buil.prop. all my device details are the same as above. Please help.
