Kainy - Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime

I have not tested this out yet, but it allows you to stream your PC games to your phone/ Tablet and create customized control layouts for each game. Sounds promising, but i would like to hear other users experience with this.

I think this is the App you are talking about: Kainy Client from the Play Store. Here is their Official website.
Engadget just published an article about it today. You can check it out here, but it doesn't have that much info yet.
If someone buys it, please let us know how is it

Hi,
thisi s very different to bebot, unfortunately. It's a nice starting point, but it's so far...
wow, i had searched for the bebot for iphone. It's looks good, hope it comes to us.
Help me! I'm so close to buying an iPad JUST for the BeBot app. Theres absolutely no musical synth like it in an Android app or even in straight musical hardware (short of a Haken Continuum, which with the required keyboard sound module costs between $6000 - $8000).
I'd love to see something comparable for Android. Or maybe if enough of us poke the developer with a stick they will make an Android version...
(can't post links, Google Normalware BeBot for developer's site)
I really don't want an iPad as a tablet. But if theres no other way to get this app, I may not have a choice.
Synth2
Sorry for posting in such an old thread.
I have been working on a similar app for Android for some time. I just release, what I call, a Beta version of it. It doesn't have the animations and the settings are quite different. Try it out! I call it "Synth2". All feedback is, of course, most welcome!
Unfortunately I'm not allowed to post links, but here is the URL: play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.mejf.synth2
Just letting you know..

Will you be going live (wallpaper)?

With the release of 2.1 imminent and a lot of people keen to get their hands on live wallpapers, have you decided on what wallpaper you will be using??
I certainly want to give this one a go:

None, you can't get me out of the idea live wall paper sucks a lot of your precious battery...

Yes, but only for kicks. And maybe to show off to iPhone 4 fanboys and girls... not sure if they have Live Wallpapers or not but oh well, Android rules either way.
I already have it its pretty awesome customizable too

meow, it's hardly a useless thread, I find it quite useful, and im sure there are others out there too, but might be interested, it's hardly like im advertising WoW cash, so yeah.
@everyone else, yeah I know it sucks battery life so I wont be doing it perminently, just as something to show off, like gimmicky
As soon as we get the update I'm rocking the map live wallpaper. I love it on my g1
Why do people complain about everything on these forums?
Allow people to say what they want, as long as it is related to the thread, and (usually) nothing else.
If you (as in everyone) thinks a thread is useless, don't post on it. It wastes your time, and others who respond to you, because of it.
Back to the topic - I would to try out some live wallpapers to see how they look, but if they use up a lot of battery, then I probably won't bother any more.
I like the look of this one:

That is fricken AWESOME.. and calm.. oohhmmmmm lol
Ill be getting that one!
ll be going for the one called "seeds of life"
heck i have already dnloaded it...
iphone fanboys have had "live wallpapers" since the original iphone. vwallpaper it was/is called and it enables you to use any video as a wallpaper.
I will be using wally which enables you to use gifs as live wallpapers. waiting for the one that lets me use videos as live wallpapers. One thing I miss about my old iphone.
I've had live wallpapers for my nexus one since I got the phone, and I don't use it. It's a gimmick. My phone is much faster and lasts longer on a charge without it.
Just want to say that I'm in no way discouraging others from using it. I just have a very practical outlook for my phone.
For the first two hours yes...

I thought think this one is pretty cool, it's called Celestial Bodies and it changes as you play music, really nice looking app if you're into astronomy etc.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DyROV48k45Q&feature=related
Also, I heard that not all live wallpapers destroy battery life and the issue is more related to sloppy coding by their creators. Something to do with sleep policy etc, maybe somebody could elaborate on that or suggest live wallpapers that are known to be resource friendly like the grass one.

You would think that if that is indeed the case than all the dafault live wallpapers that come with 2.1 are optimized...

I've been waiting forever for gameloft to get their fingers out with order and chaos, but it looks like thats never going to happen so this looks like it might just be the one !!
So anyone playing it?
Good/bad, lemmie know !
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dvidearts.earthandlegend&hl=en
Just read a few of the comments etc and sadly it seems its not a MMORPG (like order and chaos)
So... not for me !
Anyway.. i spose if you like you can add your thoughts/reviews etc here incase anyone fancies it

Order and Chaos may be "Out" but it isnt compatible with the TF201
Earth and legend however isnt the same thing (as i put at the bottom of my first post)
It's just a game with a decent amount of quests available but no story and relatively a small amount of time to finish. (max level is 30)
$1 gets you a reply
I played it on my prime and thought it was ok

Revamping an Android website, Would like the users feedback

I've been working this past week or so to revamp our website, DroidNerds.com, and was wondering if you guys could give some feedback? As users who (probably) use Android websites for news often, what are some of your suggestions to make these sites better fit what you're looking for?
Would you like more ROM reviews, less rumors, more reviews of products/devices/applications, what are you guys looking for? We're trying to stress less resposting from other sites (as you see that enough), more original content, and lots of reviews. Are you interested in ROM reviews or videos? As a developer would you like to get yours some more coverage? Thanks and I hope we can help build this site to better suit everyone!
Nice site.

Thanks man! I appreciate it. Do you have any information that you would personally like to see more of on the site? (As of right now, only the 4 latest articles are the quality we're looking for. The old stuff is stuff from old writers who are no longer on the project) I plan on getting a video and discussion of the new CM10 preview for the Prime up and running early tomorrow morning so everyone can get a good glimpse before they flash.
I like your site. It works well in Chrome on my Transformer Prime. I especially like the top menu bar. Adding content about custom ROMs would be great. It may be nice to allow users to sort by their device. That would be my only suggestion. Otherwise you're UI and content are well done.

Thanks man, I appreciate it! I really think we could get going with a little more publicity. Unfortunately that's hard to come by nowadays. You can't even get on Google Currents (in the Science and Tech section within the app) without having quite a bit of people following you in the first place. Too bad.
I actually think I have a good idea to make your site stand out and eventually get some big traffic. PM me if you're interested.

Swipewheel - keyboard concept for touchscreen devices

Hi there!
I've just registered, nice to meet you all
I've came up with a concept of new type of "keyboard" for touchscreen devices (target: mobile phones), the tests went really great, and I am now patenting it. I would like to see your opinions or ideas.
Since I'm new here, Im not allowed to post links, please search "swipewheel" in youtube.
Thanks!
Best regards, Jacek.
Looks great. I want to test it.

Nice to meet you, as well.
If the production of your wheel is as slick as your video, we are all in for a treat.
Can't wait to try it out.
How do you tell the difference between backspace and caps lock? At a quick glance, they both look like counter-clockwise circles within the wheel.
This looks very interesting and intuitive, looking forward to getting my hands on this and taking it for a spin.
AWSM WORK!!!
one hell of a concept... gr8 work dev... looking forward to it...dis definitely needs a portal mention after its launch...
:good:
sounds interesting, but the website is down.
Very cool concept and the core idea is great. I felt like some of the other rules may become difficult to learn and weren't as intuitive as the initial demo so, if your goal is getting users to try it out, I'd suggest keeping your demo a little more concise.
Unique idea though, love the thought process.
That's the most interesting thing I ever seen

Sorry but I am not aware Apple patent. I will be glad if you can share....
and patenting is out of main subject but I'll add last few things as OP has already shared his wish for patenting...
Big companies patents concept not only to apply it to their design, but more importantly to keep new concepts away from their competitors...

I'm not sure if you understood that I was just making a sarcastic comment about how Apple wouldn't need another keyboard because they think their's is the best in the world.

Very cool looking. I don't usually try new keyboards, but yours looks extremely interesting. I think the link to your website on the YouTube page is misspelled. it shows swipewhel, instead of swipewheel.com. look forward to trying your keyboard out.

Looks interesting. I'd be interested to test it out as well.
Does it also take multitouch to swipe out letters twice as fast? Since you can already resize the circle already =]
I'd be very interested to try it out and happy to test
