Could you recommend the Lumia 800? - Nokia Lumia 800

I have heard a mixed bag of reviews about this phone but what I gather is most bugs are no ironed out. I have a SGS2 at the moment, but its to big and I never really was a big android fan and well iOS is looking very dated, I love the look of the Lumia 800. Could you recommend it?

I'd vote yes. The look and feel is great. The OS works well. Main caveats are lack of apps, and bugs/short battery life, as you say I hope these are mostly sorted. Biggest frustration for me has been the won't charge/won't turn on problem if you let the battery run flat, but I'm hopeful the latest update may help.

I feel exactly the same way about the SGS2, Android and iOS.
I originally bought the Lumia as a stop gap - I was sick of flashing roms onto my Galaxy S and thought the Lumia would be nice to own until the iPhone 5 comes out. But after having the Lumia for a month, Apple will need to do something drastic with iOS as well as the hardware to get me away from my Lumia. I love it to bits.
You're picking the right time because the annoying bugs - terrible battery life and bad audio quality are now fixed. I'm sat here listening to music off the Lumia via a set of Sennheiser HD555's and it sounds brilliant.
The OS is great, it has a couple of minor usability issues compared to iOS which is very good in this respect, but it blows Android out the water.
Go for it!

So far all the issues have been dealt with, if your phone has a fault that needs sorted, I can assure you that Nokia will sort it out. They are people that listen to the consumers, as most bugs have so far been dealt with. I have no problems with the phone now apart from my screen being messed up, but hopefully that's getting replaced by them. I would recommend the phone as it's excellent value and Nokia are doing everything to make this phone one of the best out there, as you can see on the adverts, as well as the amount of time they're putting into the Lumias. You get what you pay for, oh if you're coming from SGS2, it's a little on the heavier side.

Really tempted. Can these be developer unlocked?

At the moment, no, we haven't heard anything from Chevron sadly, only via App Hub ($99) or student dev unlock. But we can always hope it comes soon. Test the phone out first, to see if you can stick without homebrew as you are coming from an Android (the mother of all customization).

I changed from sgs2 and I have to say that I haven't looked back. This phone is brilliant and finally a good phone with excellent usability.

I came from a Mozart and it was a relief. The design is so much better, and it's quite much faster as well. I have never owned an Android, never wanted one, and with my Lumia I'll never want one.

WP7 is a genuinely different beast compared to iOS/Android. I'm not going to tell you that it's better, because that all depends on taste, but if you're getting a WP7 phone then the Lumia 800/900 is an excellent choice.
As a developer I'd never go back to Android simply because it's so horribly buggy and the software design so godawful that even a dualcore gigahertz processor isn't enough to make it render things smoothly. What's more, bugs and security exploits don't get fixed unless you install your own rom or wait a year for a carrier-approved update. There's so many bugs that it's almost impossible now to write an app that doesn't crash on at least 10% of the devices out there
As for downsides to the Lumia, there's no internet tethering at the moment, although WiFi tethering has just been announced. Battery life isn't great, but it seems to differ from phone to phone. When I just got mine I had 8-10 hours of battery life, but after two or three charge cycles my phone lasted a full day, and I really haven't had problems since then. As far as I know this is all fixed with the new update though. Also, WP7 doesn't have all the apps you're used to having on Android, and the ones that are there aren't always the best. Spotify for instance is totally unusable for me, and I've uninstalled it about a month ago and downgraded my account. Things like Facebook and twitter seem fine though, and it's nice to have people's Facebook pictures show up in your contacts. The browser is also great and fast, although I'm not too happy with Bing and rather use Google. Nokia maps also isn't as good as Google maps, but a third-party app fixes that pretty quick.
Imho, if you want a phone that just works, get either a WP7 phone or an iPhone. If you're getting a WP7 phone, get a Lumia 800.

Definitely! And two of my friends are already ordered after i show em what you can do with unlocked device

an awesome phone, i love this phone, iv tried android, iphone blackberry, and id rather use this phone than any other phone.

i can definitely recommend this phone to everyone after the latest update. most bugs have been sorted our( not that i was having problem with it previously) but in general the 12070 update really does make this a valid choice..
on the other hand if you could wait for the lumia 900 it would be a good idea..but as long as you dont need a huge display..and a fornt facing camera the 800 should be cheaper and it does feel more comfortable in the hands

would recommend the lumia 800 yes
imho way better than iphone and android platform the 800 is so nice to hold in your hands its the best phone i have ever used, and i have had a lot from iphone 4 to 4s to galaxy nexus and sg2 the lumia is a much nicer phone to use and looks better.

I wouldn't recommend it. I've been through 3 of these devices all with different hardware faults. And the 900 is close to release, it's got the same features, a bit bigger and better screen (Not PenTile) and FFC.

Agreed here.
I feel the same way. My girlfriend has my old iPhone 4 and I sent the HTC Sensation packing to pay for my Lumia. This phone is ****ing amazing. I have had zero problems except the camera. I figured out that to counter this I can turn up the exposure value in the camera settings and the pictures are fantastic!
Note: I imported a HK model here to Beijing (we have sweet markets) and do not have Nokia Music.... this is lame otherwise, the phone is great.

My Lumia Experience
Hi,
after using a Lumia 800 for a couple of weeks, here's my two cents:
I have gone through all iPhone-Generations (and some symbian-stuff before) and currently own a bunch of current phones, among them the SGS2 (custom firmware, admittedly) and an Lumia 800. My company is developing apps, that's why I get to play around with smartphones a lot.
The Lumia 800 is hands down one of the best looking phones around. The size is perfect and it feels just right. I also dig the responsiveness of the user interface and I really like the approach of smart tiles in Windows Phone. Not as cluttered as android widgets and much smarter than the iOS counterpart (there is no such concept).
Unfortunately, there are a lot of real show stoppers that make me pick up my SGS2 in the morning, instead of the Lumia. Let's start with basics like calendaring and e-mails. Handling of calendar invitations does not work most of the time, the phone does not even handle .ics-files, which makes me pin down invitations, then go to the calendar and create a new entry manually - c'mon, this is basic stuff!
If you are setting up Google Mail on the phone, you will see only the first level of tags (a.k.a IMAP-folders). If a tag has sub-tags, it won't be displayed in the list, making the whole concept useless - bummer.
Syncing your contacts with google works in such a way that all your contacts do actually appear on the phone - except for random phone numbers that just will not be synchronized. If you really want to have all your contacts' phone numbers on the Lumia you better go through all those contacts and make sure the phone numbers are labeled in a way the Lumia can understand. I am not sure which labels work reliably. Updating all contacts just for a bug like this really is a tedious task!
The integration of facebook is pretty well done, unless you have a name that is so common that there are other people you know on facebook that have the same name. In this case, messages and profile pictures of the other people of your name are displayed as _your_ messages and profile pictures. Guess some developer decided to ditch unique IDs and go for names instead - another bug!
Talking about bugs: most apps that I really got used to on other platforms are sub par or not available at all on Windows Phone. Remember The Milk, evernote, spotify, rdio or even facebook - those apps are in no way comparable to their counterparts on iOS or Android in terms of features and stability.
And then there are a lot of other, small things:
- No tethering (ok, this is supposed to come in a future update)
- no image scale-down possible when sending via e-mail
- mute does not mute all sounds
- no ABC-bar in contacts list, you have to search or scroll a thousand times to find a contact
- Marketplace is slow and often inresponsive. Is there a way to list the apps I have bought? I have not found such an option
- battery runtime: though much better after last update, it is still tough to get through an entire day
- Once you install many apps (like I do) you will start to miss folders or other means to organize your smart tiles and the application list - a general problem of Windows Phone.
I have to admit that some of the trouble is certainly due to the fact that I use google services instead of Exchange, which might yield a better experience on Windows Phone. Then again, this phones' target audience is more likely to use free google services than Exchange.
That being said, I still like the phone, but it has way to many quirks to be a reliable business phone. I really hope Nokia and Microsoft get these wrinkles straightened out because the interface surely has a lot of potential.
Until then I will stick to my ugly Android that gets the job done ;-)
Cheers,
Dan

My theory is that since carriers hate tethering, this is part of Nokia's strategy to entice carriers into selling more Lumia devices during the initial launch period. Delivering an update (much, much later?) is a compromise to appease users who need tethering.

Marketplace sucks. The only way to get a list of apps that you have bought (and re-install them) is through the www.windowsphone.com site. Lots of app reviews aren't shown either.

Yes, but how do you quickly jump to, say, "M". Aaah, I found it: double tap on a label and you will get the entire alphabet! So this one can be scratched due to user dumbness

@oskariunit: By the way: The alphabet in the contact list is nice but also has the bug that the first tap onto a letter does not open the alphabet-list if you have been scrolling the contact list before. Probably the first tap just sets to focus to the button and the second tap registers. One tap suffices if you open contacts and directly tap onto a letter without scrolling before, as the default focus is obviously on those letters.
And no, this is not user dumbness but a bug.

Contacts Picture Quality

Right then, who else has noticed this? I'm presuming its an issue with the sync?
My contacts are stored with Googlemail and are set to sync, which is good as it saves me manually doing it and I usually change business contacts details so its nice that it updates on its own.
I link the contacts to facebook, pictures come over, look perfect (well, alright).
Later on, the pictures look awful and I'm presuming its because they are sent to Google and then sent back to the phone in a lower quality.
There were similar issues with the Touch HD syncing with Outlook and nobody found a way around it, anyone got any suggestions?
Nobody else noticing that their contacts pictures are really poor quality? Is it just me having this issue?

Me too...
No you are not alone.
Not alone
You are not alone, I presume that there is some kind of loss in the sync to make it work faster, I havnt seen any setting to make it lossless.
When I saved a picture from facebook and added it manually the was no loss in quality.
So until there is some kind of app out I guess you will just have to manually add the pictures if you cant live with the quality.
I sync with Outlook and its the same.
I do remember when i had a HTC Touch Diamond that was the same. The way you cured the problem was to take a photo with your phone to use as a contact picture and then it was full quality. To be honest not tried it with the Hero yet maybe a task for today for me..
Same problem here.
Hope they solve it in a future update.
Its the same with me, on my Diamond I created small high quality pics for my contacts & even with these the quality is crap.
On a side note is anybody else thinking that XDA Developers isn't the place for us & our hero handsets? I'm feeling a little bit unloved

haha, ok...
Root gives you access to all of your phone and should allow you to flash new roms onto your phone.
HardSPL is used on phones and if you have hardspl, again, you can flash new roms.
TP2 is the Touch Pro 2, just another phone.
Basically I was trying to say the phone is new out, and usually when they are it takes a while for people to come over to them, but they do eventually. When more and more people come on board, there will be a lot more support.

You know what I think I need to make a retaction & clarify how I feel about the XDA Developers site & the hero. Both the comments of nicelad_uk & liamhere are totally spot on & it was silly of me to expect the amount of expert knowledge on the hero that I enjoyed with my previous winmo devices.
I realise now that this could be my time to shine & put something back into this community instead of just taking like I was accustomed to before. Now obviously its been established that my knowledge is a bit lax on the software but where I can help I will & hopefully the increase traffic & hel will bring more people to this part of the forum.

Haha, trust me, if you asked my girlfriend, she would say the opposite!
I started putting back into the community with my Touch Pro 2, recreating a theme which I loved on my Diamond but wasn't available, it was a good feeling.
Now I'm making apps for Android, nothing big, just getting used to it and trying different things.
And no problem with the help, we all try to help and its good to see a mod using these devices too, other people will follow shortly, when they see the light
Contacts Image quality
I have the same bad images quality in contact also. Even when i had my Touch HD. I sync with Outlook and even set the contact photo from the phone but when a call comes in or is made to the contact its all blurry. Any ideas?

That warms my cockles, does that! I feel just the same so I'm trying to help where I can (Not totally altruistic, just its summer break and I have time on my hands)
On the point of poor quality pics in the call window, I think what is happening is that the fone is grabbing the little Thumbnail created for the contacts, not the original pic. The thumbnail then looks like Sh** in the big call window.
Not a solution but could be a reason.

This issue is usually to do with the Sync, its been a common problem with Syncing with Outlook and google from Windows Mobile Devices. I posted a comment about poor picture quality on Google's forums and one of their development team said they would look into it, that was nearly 3 months ago though.
Can't think of anyway round it! Very annoying though. Auto Sync off for me I think.
I think everyone should go to the google forums and reply to this thread...

Verge has become an Android-wh*@# recently. They are hungry for the clicks and hence their anti-Lumia articles. Then they followed it up with anti-Windows Phone and this. I would say, if you own anything but Windows Phone, only then you should read Verge. Their sources always want to be unnamed and always want to be anonymous!

Well that article points out how the guy in the video has retracted what he said in the video. Here's the original link:

Imagine all the people that went and got the Lumia and all the money wasted on advertisement only to say.. Nope that phone we threw at you telling you its the best won't see Apollo... Here buy this one instead. Along with the Titan One/Two. Businesses have made stupid mistakes and Microsoft might do another dumb move and spit on your faces.
Only take what comes officially from Microsoft not some websites with no affiliation or some lonely employee.
I am pretty sure none of us will and should get an "Apollo". We clearly don't have specs for that.
However, what we will get is skinned Apollo. We are sure to get all the features of the OS e.g.
1) better multitasking
2) better UI consistancy (if applied)
3) better integration of features (plus additional ones)
4) better or/and faster IE
5) better bluetooth support
These stuff don't need all that extra hardware specs, so we could safely have them.
The rumours of Lumia 610, 800 being tested with Apollo could well be true considering the above could be applied with no extra hardware that comes with Apollo.
Let us keep in mind that Android users are the most ignored for official upgrades (unless you come to XDA).
The article reads like they HOPE MS leaves current hardware behind for Apollo.
Looking at the Tango update and the fact you will be able to send MMS video& ting , As long as we get a few other treats thrown in then I don't think I will be that bothered if I get an Apollo related update or not, TBH I was extremely happy with my HD2 but upgrades and progress lead me over to the Darkside of WP7 and although I suffered from boredom before nodo and see it through to Mango I don't think It will ever be what everyone wants, There will always be a better handset on the horizon and if it turns out MS don't fully deliver then simply change platform.
I too am not bothered about the apollo update if it does not reach the Titan. I too am more than happy with the OS as it stands.

A few questions about the VS985 - contacts editing, call blocking and others

I searched the web (and the thread suggestions are not similar) and found very little on these matters, so...
Some background first -
I have now owned the G3 for 6 days. This is my first android os phone and first "smart" phone I have owned. The closest thing I've owned to this was an apple iPod touch. I'm not a big apple fan, (its the only device I own sporting their logo) but I have to say after spending some time with this G3 for the last few days, I am beginning to appreciate some of intuitive elements of their design. I didn't consider the apple phone due to their "proprietary" connects, no readily available battery removal, no flash and no microSD. These are all features I feel really should be very "basic" at this stage of tech. However, after spending a few days with this unit, I'm not thinking these phones are as "smart" as the marketing selling them. Perhaps I'm wrong. Please feel free to offer a different viewpoint!
Now, don't get me wrong, while the layout is fairly decent, the camera is nice, the phone (telephony) seems to work fairly well so far, and the screen sure looks pretty - even if a bit huge to get a comfortable grip on - but customization (at least in stock form) seems somewhat limited. This phone seems setup to waste time not to conserve it.
2 days ago I wrote my first post on this forum - stating that basically, from my perspective of a short time with this phone and furthering research - this thing needs rooted just to customize it to the level I think might lead to a productive mini-computer and that seems like a whole lot of time expenditure for a device of which the battery only lasts a short workday and one that you have to keep protected from pretty much anything (bumps, water, etc.).
So here are some questions that I have not found answers to:
1. Why does this phone disallow me to edit a contact?
considerations: Some contacts have the "edit pencil" available and some do not. I have some contacts synced from facebook which I cannot edit (no pencil icon appears), yet my wife who has recently obtained a samsung note 4 & she has the edit pencil on all of her contacts, even the facebook synced ones. Not only do I want to sync the contacts from facebook (and other places), but I want to remove the facebook app and then keep the contacts on the phone. Is there a way to do this without adding yet another app?
2. Getting rid of "Rachel from card services" - yeah tell me you people haven't dealt with this lady burning up your phone - chief call spammer of USA... No offense to Rachel, but I'm tired of answering her calls. Why is it that allegedly on other non-Verizon versions of the G3 the user is able to block spammer's calls (call blocking), yet this one doesn't? Where is this feature of this phone? Am I missing something here, because I have looked all over and I have not found this feature on the phone.
Multiple cases of lockup - meaning I tap on the screen on an icon designed to make something happen and yet nothing happens. No response. Zero. This seems to be intermittent, but it happens. Is this a typical experience with these phones?
I was sold on the G3 because I noted & appreciated some of the features that came with it - but now I find myself seriously considering returning this phone - but then if I did, what would I even replace it with?

Development requests/questions- I want to love my phone again!

I have no idea where we are supposed to post in these forums but from previous phone models I've had (and I've had a fair few!) people have been able to make requests of developers or ask how to do things especially to do with further customisation of their phone.
With each new model of phone coming out there is less and less ability for the end user to change the look of their device. I'm not talking about wallpapers and lock screens, I'm talking about changing fonts, colours and icons.
I really miss one of the first phones where I was able to do this through a theme editor- the Nokia N95, heck I even miss being able to flash my 3230! I remember when g-mask was around and I was able to personalise it even further by getting an outer skin applied complete with a couple of swarovski crystals. At least I could tell it was mine, there was no other like it and the mask lasted until my brother inherited the phone and I upgraded which was a few years.
I also miss the emotional connection I had with my HTC Desire HD, turning the crappiest day around with humour by taking photos of family and friends with the warped/mutated/distorted option (unbeknownst to them), showing it to them and watching their facial expression after they make a double take of the image. Some would laugh, some would cry and others would get very angry.
As much as the focus is on the clean simple look of Lollipop on my Samsung S6 Edge, I don't like the fact they've even taken away the option of having stickers to put next to events in S-Planner. So what if people don't use them, doesn't mean you have to take that option away!
At the moment too it seems as though each variant is receiving its own set of options, making it harder for us as a group to help each other and adding confusion. Has this always been the case with Samsung? Thinking back to the Nokia, they were usually manufactured in one place meaning you could flash pretty much same radio for international version despite people being with different carriers.
I can't install custom recovery, yet some of my Aussie counterparts on here can and it all seems very strange and mysterious! In fact this is the first phone I'm scared I might turn into a brick and that's never happened.
Really hoping more developers take interest in the edge as contrary to what I thought, it's not just an elite s6. We can't even use the same firmware or take the same advice given in their forums as it's not applicable.
I guess what I'm trying to say is I'm not liking that I don't love my phone as much as I have loved some of my other phone's in the distant past..right now it's just a tool and nothing more. I want to love my phone again!

I didn't think you could unless you could get custom recovery? Didn't realise you could flash s6 to me either, from what I've been reading everywhere had said do not do it on the edge.

Indeed Alex-V, unfortunately a phone is only a short term investment now until a new and better one comes along. In my case, each phone with the hope that better happens...only reason I got the edge was for the camera and I was on one of those new phone feeling plans so could keep my s5 but thought s6 edge would be same but improved. Hoping some devs jump on board soon. I'd love to learn how to do all these things myself.

Google on the fall

What do you think? Since MM Doze never really officially worked, Nougat's "enhanced" Doze barely works.
I'm wondering what happend to Google? They release half working internal official releases. Has the Developers been there too long? Too tired to care make something great? Or is Google just hiring Developers that want to get their foot in the door with no experience?
Just something to think about as I'm seeing a fall in android which is very disappointing, I mean after 5 previews and an offical release you really cannot fix the Android System bug thats using same % as screen? Pretty embarrassing on Google if you ask me.
Been android quite awhile it was doing great but they just cant get it together anymore?
MM Doze never worked? It works exactly as they intended it to; when the phone is not moving.

Go back to Apple you Apple scum!
On a serious note though, I disagree with pretty much everything you said.
Doze is working completely fine, and so is everything else.
There is no such "fall" in Android. As far as I know, pretty much everything is rising.

There is already a general Android discussion section.
This thread reminds me of a galaxy Black Hole!
Google's not perfect but they allow indie developers freedom. Steve Jobs wanted the ipad to be an extension of the user but then he had specific ideas for how that user should behave. Apple says we know whats best for you, while Google says "go ahead and get that tatoo. We might think its a poor decision but its your body!"
Ill stop rambling here. I like freedom and SOMETIMES that means things wont always go smooth.
Back to the topic--never had issues with doze either.

google sucks they treat their user base as a bunch of alpha testers
they never fix anything , they are a bunch of cheap money grubbers who will not spend money to hire people from the first world none of their developers can even be toilet trained how do you expect them to be able to be trained to develop software?
of course the low level 3rd world developers are not even nearly as bad at the higher ups who are supposed to be managing and designing
nothing they do makes any sense they are all a bunch of severely autistic retarded sperglords with zero real world social skills or experience
besides them leaving critical things broken for months to years like FRP and google maps navigation
they just are very poor at design in general and lack any common sense
everything they do is @SS backwards AF
most basic common sense features are not even included , whenever they do do something right they decide to make change for the sake of change and break it again

so just because i am not a android fanboy i must be an IOS fanboy
uh no, i give criticism where it is due, and there is plenty due for both
IOS is more polished and they do not put out releases in an alpha state though
and both of these companies are getting suckier and suckier by the minute
removing features instead of adding more and screwing over consumers and their user bases
and the fan boys on both sides just beg for more abuse , oh yes remove my SD slot , my removable battery , my IR blaster, my headphone jack ,my front facing stereo speakers, a ton of useful software features,
just take my money you can do no wrong
i like IOS but i hate having to use itunes it really is the "software equivalent of cancer" tim cook spoke about
IOS sucks too, memory is full, ok i'll just delete some videos and free up space . NOPE, backup and restore with itunes , it will work if you are lucky
android is awful too
broken security a 2yo could get past ,not fixed in almost a year now
broken google maps navigation not fixed in years
backwards user account system with more broken security
lacking even the most basic common sense convince features
many default settings set to where they will cause annoyance and problems for users
i can honestly say i hate them both ,and there is really no excuse for either one of them both of these comapnies have more money than god yet continue to produce garbage and be cheap F***s when it comes to R&D
they both love to employ bottom of the barrel 3rd world labor to pinch every penny but google is worse in that respect
choosing between IOS and android is like being asked to chose between cancer and aids

Please edit your post and remove the comment about Cancer and Aids. That line was completely uncalled for and extremely inappropriate. Also please edit out the cuss words you have in your post that you masked from the editor. It's against XDA policy as we have kids that come on here. If you want to cuss, please use the * symbol on your keyboard.
While I understand your strong feelings towards Google, may I ask why such strong feelings? Were you passed up on being hired by them? It's just that it's not every day you get to see someone post such strong words against a company that they merely purchased or didn't purchase products from. Seems like there's some personal stuff going on there.

Nothing like completely biased, unsubstantiated, blanket claims. You can easily like or dislike anything about Google or Android, but to just say they know nothing about design demonstrates your absolute ignorance on digital design or how it is accomplished.

probably never
people who can code have no common sense and people with common sense can't code
or it is just bad upper level management
i can give specific examples of glaringly obvious bad design mistakes ,but of course they will never be fixed
googles multi user account system implemented in lolipop is just awful
here is why
there is no way to hand off ownership account status to another user ,you have to wipe and factory restore the device, i found this out when setting up a tablet for a parent with my account and having to start over
but why? this makes no sense what so ever , all they had to do is just make an option to transfer ownership account status to another user account on the device, log in under primary owner account go to settings, select pass ownership status to another user select user, there done would that have been so hard?
also multi user relies on lock screen passwords instead of just prompting for the google user account password to switch between users on the device, forcing everyone using the device to use a lock screen password and to enter it every time the device goes to sleep, this is very annoying especially when using a tablet which the multi user account was ostensibly designed to be used for since typically you do not share a phone, it just makes no sense at all
also smart lock trusted devices is another mess
i figured i would just use my mi band to unlock the tablet then, but even when you set up a trusted device to use smartlock it just disables itself after "inactivity" so after few hour you have to reset it again ,no option to keep it the way you set it, turned on
it's just common sense things like this that get really annoying
also no inversion of volume rocker buttons when in landscape mode
little common sense things like this
a company with unlimited funds and unlimited resourced should not be making ridiculously obvious design mistakes like these
nor should they be leaving such major things broken for years like google maps navigation and FRP security

samsung, HTC, apple, all of them are making bad decisions
Doze is outstanding in Nougat. I got 5+ hours of SoT over a 38 hour period so yes, obviously, Nougat is total crap and Doze doesn't do anything...
^^^sarcasm^^^
...I do find it amazing that I can get endurance like that with no, as in zero, attempt to optimize battery drain (WiFi on, GPS on high, adaptive display on, BT on, bone stock, no root, etc.) while others are reporting problems. Regardless, all I can go by is that my 6P is not only just the best phone I ever had (last one was Note 5 that go worse with MM), it got even better with Nougat!
