As I'm on lightning rom, the increasing ring has been disabled. Is there any .apk that can fix that?

The rom you installed has the increasing ring removed as per its specifications .
You can swop the phone apk in the rom for an original ICS phone apk .
Or flash a rom that has not customized the phone apk .

thats true, but did not know how to fix, so I'll start looking for the phone.apk and swap it, thanks!

Search engine as this question has been asked before .
Or just put new ringtones in ringtones folder system/media /audio /ringtones .
or look for an app on the market .

Hi,
i searched forums to see if someone had already ask this question but don't find anything so here is my question :
Is it possible to change the stock clock.apk of my AOKP hydra ROM to the clock.apk wich has stopwatch, better alarm settings and everything ? I had this stock clock apk in CheckROM V6 with android 2.3.6 but since i update my phone to ICS, all stock clock apk were missing this useful fonctions !!
I try to extract apk from roms that have this kind of stock clock apk, and install it, but i don't manage to have it installed !
If it's possible, can i also change my camera.apk to a stock camera.apk that can uses volume buttons as shutter ?
Thanks for your answers !

Is there any way I can remove the ascending ringtone mode? TIA
I'm looking for the same fix to the ascending ringtone thingy Samsung apparently got going on most of their phones.
I found some modded file called "secphone.apk" to replace the system file, but I'm on Omega v16 mod (Galaxy S3 GTI9300) and am happy with a working system, and something tells me that I'll mess with the functionality if I do.
I'd like to post in the Omega forum to ask about it, but can't since I'm fresh of the banana boat..

That's the one, but I get "Application not installed" when trying, just like the Camera mod also found in the kitchen..

That error is of course when I try to install it with the native installer, heeh..
Flashing from CWM in recovery mode fixes the camera mod (and the known JB_browser fix), but installing the UPD-Disable-the-increasing-ring-Criskelo.zip makes the system phone crash..
Hey guys, just one problem with the sounds with my Xperia Sola.
I have changed the stock system sounds and replaced them with this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2103024
I have changed all the permissions to the correct ones.
Doesn't work no matter what I do.
Only way to work is to flash the stock ROM with the sounds included, my current stock ROM doesn't seem to recognise them ? - no unlock/lock sounds, camera shutter sounds, click sound etc. - even if I put the stock ones back.
Why is this ?
Thanks In Advance.

Have the same problem since the latest ICS update.....i can only get the incoming call ringtone(which is a song from my music collection) to work and not the message tone nor the whatsapp tone.....so i assume that there is a problem with the system sound files and hence would try to use downloaded tones in their place and see if they are working well....see if that helps:fingers-crossed:

Hi
I've flashed Omega v6.0 ROM lately and I've found it misses the increasing ringtone option.
The previous ROM, Vanilla RootBox, had it and I got used to it. My ringtone volume is set to max, becouse I carry my phone in backpocket. But now, when I sit at work and the phone on the desk next to me, it gives me a heart attak everytime it rings.
So, anyone knows if there's a mod or any other way giving me that option in Omega v6.0 ROM?
I did some search, but I didn't found any answer.
Regards

Search <<<< Google >>>> XDA increasing ringtone mod
Might even be a flash-able mod in Omega if you read the thread .

Well, did it allready.
Plenty of "disable-increasing-ringtone" mods, but none reversing this operation.
I've red the Omega ROM thread too (the section according to v6.0) and I didn't found the answer too.
I can't ask there becouse of "noob" restrictions, so I asked here.

Do you actually mean the stock ringtone app .
Try Perkas file stash try decreasing ringtone posts for stock try the Omega Installer or app .

Stock ringtone app won't work for me since Omega v6.0 is AOKP-based ROM.
Same Perkas file stash I guess.
I've tried to copy Phone.apk from RootBox ROM, but there's no option to enable increasing ringotne in it's settings.
Looks like if dev won't include this option in the ROM I don't get it.
Thanks anyway.
