Me being a total stranger concerning photoshop/editing, could anyone please help me out how I could place my own Galaxy Nexus sreenshots like the one here?
Would appreciate the help!

I'll try to explain you the easiest way
First you will need a galaxy nexus image (any image will work ).
Open that image from Photoshop (File >Open).
Locate your screenshot, and drag it into the photoshop window. A new layer with your screenshot will be created.
Edit the size of new layer if necessary (Edit >Transform >Scale), and move it to cover the screen of the galaxy.
Press Shift+Ctrl+S to save your image finished (remember to select PNG Format in the "Save as" window).

Could someone please let me know where this png image resides (the bottom bit of the notification)? I've had a look in framework-res and com.htc.resources apks but cannot find it anywhere.
Thanks!
If you're running a newer android version then it'll be in the SystemUI.apk in system/app
'status_bar_close_on.png' I think it's called.
Go to system/app/SytemUI.apk using rootexplorer application. THen copy it to sdcard and extract this file THen you can find the image in extracted/SystemUI/res/drawable-ldpi/status_bar_close_on.9.png on ../drawable-mdpi/status_bar_close_on.9.png resp. (i.e. Two version of file in drawable* folder )
Excellent - perfect, thanks
hello, i've been porting/mixing bits and pieces of more than 3 themes in one to fit my taste.
(All black and white theme for T-mobile white SGSII)
but i got stuck on these png files. I don't know what their names are and where they're located at.....
i've looked all over the internet with no luck
i know there's lot of images.. but can anyone help me identify where these png files are located at, please?
(with numbers, and be specific if you could please )
(it looks like 5&7 and 6&8 are the same thing.. right?)
thank you in advance.

I am making a grey and white theme for AllianceROM_I9100_LS8_v6 for personal use and would like to remove the background image as pointed out in the below screenshot. I was hopeing somebody would be able to tell me the name and location of the background image, if any one can point me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated
Edit, Finally located it, for anyone who wants to know, it is in Framework-res/res/drawable-hdpi
and it is called
tw_list_section_divider_holo_dark.9

That for u have to edit the right images in framework.
I would recommend to ask a theme (look in theme section) who xmcan tell u directly which images and what's the easiest way

I'm not sure this is the correct place for this, but it's the closest I could find.
The other day I found there was an app, ycon, for Line that creates custom icons from photos or images, these icons are a combination of your photo + a frame they provide.

I don't think every "ycon" you make is uploaded to Naver's servers for their later use on Line, so if somebody could make ycon provide line with any image I'm almost sure Line would assume it was a correct and unmodified icon.
Even modifying the ycon apk and deleting the frames would allow anyone to create Line icons from gallery images.
Does anybody think this would be possible?
