Hey all,
i have read so many threads about this topic with various statements about the sony bravia engine and i am confused now - does the sony bravia really make a difference? is it possible to use the engine without special hardware on the samsung galaxy s2?
i know this has been asked before,...but for me there is still no final conclusion!
-Diversion
I did't see ane difference with or without. In my opinion phone should have sony bravia build in, somewhere in hardware. Not just a zip file. Camera and display on sgs2 is good enough without sony bravia.

Hmmm
I would like to try also, because SOny Bravia Engine is powerful
But it rendered using gpu or cpu, and it will drain battery because of the improvements it made?

it will used up a bit more battery since it requires one more process or step in order to re-generate the image. however, it wont drain your battery in normal uses

But nothing is confirmed as yet & thats the problem Even I'm waiting for Sony or Kamarush to release a JB ROM for locked bootloader, since I can't install custom kernels because of bad blocks in NAND flash

I know but I think its more likely to have an update on the way because definitely sony dosen't want to make expectations and then disappoint users by refusing that. If they do I rather say they don't know anything about commercial politics.

Interesting... So just flash with Recovery and...
-Is it an apk?
-Any screen shots?
-Is it a kernel?
-What Android version are you running it on?
-So it will work on any model MEGA (universal)?
-Any benchmarks?
it looks like it adds busybox, init.d support, deletes temp files, logs and old apks from the device
and thats just to start..
might be quite dangerous if there are any bugs or installed to the wrong device..
i would not flash it unless someone who is very knowledgeable can do a complete check of its operations.

#Itz work in All Roms with custom recovery
Anyone flash this yet?
Nope. Anything that is "this works on everything and is the bestest" I am cautious of.
Why hasn't this post been deleted?
This just adds a bunch of crap to your build.prop and adds unnecessary init scripts. Unzip it and see for yourself. This kind of stuff doesn't belong in the original development section.
Not to mention raises swappiness and for some reason re-mounts swap?
Only good thing out of this package is Busybox and zipalign, but even that's stretching it
Don't flash this.
I have to say it really works! Flashed it on my phone and now my trash can is empty and my toilet is unstuffed, plus the filter in my washing machine is cleaned!
Hello, the main problem is that any app using advanced graphics is crashing on me, so I decided to make a test and downloaded OpenGL ES 2.0 Demo to try.
And the result that I get was unbelievable, there's a gallery of my screenshots.

As for my phone, I already had a long story with it, there's the thread, where you can get all the info on the other site, but I'm not able to post links yet, but if you Google " Screwed up my G+ K3" you can find it.
If anyone can help me to get the GPU to work properly, I would be superthankful, I am already starting to lose my mind.
Seems like your GPU is damaged.

Can this be a result of bad drivers or something? I don't really know much about drivers on Android, if there are even some. There's a firmware for another GPU installed, so it might be the cause, but I got no idea how to fix it.

Very VERY likely if it was anything along those lines it would not be general user serviceable by any means.

Well, if I'm getting it right, there's actually nothing to do it that just by my hands then. Since the firmware thinks, that there's another CPU and GPU installed, would flashing to the other firmware (some MT6572 one) work? I had a bad time when trying to port another firmware to it, it didn't boot or I just wasn't able to flash it - was getting errors.
