Hey guys, I am a kernel developer for Galaxy 3 phone and just recently started learning app development...
So here I present my first app...
Its called the QuikCam Wallpaper...
It does a very small task...It takes a picture using the camera and sets it as your wallpaper...
Market link : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dharam.quikcamwallpaper
Please try out the app and let me know if it works/doesn't work for your device or android version...
More apps should follow soon.
Please submit ideas if you have any

Xperia tipo with ics has this by default! Too sad Sony pulled it off from every other device!

Hey, I am a noob. Could somebody tell me how to get the pure Android 4.0 settings on my Xperia U.
Or simply the settings in CM9. Is it as simple as I replace the APK from the FXP's or something but I
really like the pure android settings. Please help. I have uploaded a pic for reference..
thanks
I dont think that a simple copy-paste would be enough for that but nothing wrong with giving it a try (Although chances are a bit slim ) Odds are you'll need to edit Settings.apk after decompiling and make alot of edits to get it to aosp style
try tentone's Clean ICS rom
I've Made a Rom that has this stock settings.
But its for Xperia p and I currently can't change the switches
Gesendet von meinem Xperia P mit Tapatalk 2
It's not that easy it will not work
can't we port any AOSP settings, call screen, contacts, etc.?
I did it. Aosp settings successfully installed

Mind telling everyone how you managed it ? A bit curious myself
Anyway, Congrats on the lucky break
Y not just install cm9?
Sent from my Jellybean Xperia S
CM9 is still not 100% ready. And I kinda like the Xperia UI so Ill stick with this for a while I just want to how he got the AOSP Settings working
I was browsing through the themes and apps section and found a while dedicated thread to aosp clean framework. I don't remember the OP but I have the flashable zip. I'm on Mobile now. Will find the thread and link it tomorrow.....
You can search for it too. It was called 'aosp framework'
I remember its title has these words' works on Xperia u, p with caveat'

I recently used firefox os for xperia u. I was excited of the idea of having a new os for my xu. After installing the zip feom cwm I faced an error of flickering display which was removed by removing the boot animation from system/bin in the zip.
Pro's:
#Very fast os
#Completly different from android
#It took seconds to boot up and shut down
#Touch works
#Display fine
#Gsm works
#messaging works
Cons
#internet does not work
#no sound on playing music player as well as incoming
#dialer is extremly laggy could not dial any no.
#microphone does not work
# camera does not work after installing, u need to change some coding.
Overall
Though the rom is not available for daily use it does have huge scope for future.I wish the devs work hard and soon on this rom coz guys like me would be proud to show off their android phones with different os......
