Since I upgraded to ICS I have nothing but problems... the most annoying of them all is the freaking browser!
I want a normal youtube experience, like I had in the 2.3.5, where I can interract with the youtube video buttons (resolution, fullscreen, etc.).
Now when I enter youtube and start to play a video, all I see is a play button on the video, and when I press it a vimeo-like interface appears for a second, then disappears, and the video plays but I cant stop or change anything... Tapping the video like a madman, and nothing happens.
I have flash player 11 installed.
If I switch on the "request desktop site" the controls appear, but the video is square now... If i press fullscreen it will switch to fullscreen mode, but the video will overlap part of the controls (still square, not normal aspect ratio).
The hell is wrong with it? ((
EDIT: this happens when I try to watch a movie trailer (Prometheus, The Hobbit... in HD quality) on youtube. Tried another video and normal player is there... WTF is going on? :/
Try this: Prometheus - Official Full HD Trailer - Ridley Scott, .......

Is it just me or does everyone else Youtube video playback not full screen in horizontal view? HD nor regular are completely in full screen. It only shows on 75% of the screen
I use tubemate and you can download the video if you want, and its full screen
The YouTube player might leave black bars around the video if the resolution doesn't match.
Is there any way to take a screenshot while ur inside the video player i have paused the video and wanted to take a screenshot, but the screenshot i get is just a black image doesnt show what was on the screen.
Is it just not possible to do it inside a video?
Thanks
I am on the stock att rom
It would be an option on the video player, but I'm not sure if any video players actually have it (I'm actually new to Android). It's the same thing on PC, where if you take a screen shot, the video window is black, but VLC Player, for example has an option to capture the frame.

Well I know on the iPhone when I did screenshots inside a video clip i recorded it would actually do a screenshot of wut was on the screen. That is what i am trying to accomplish here
So I downloaded a screen filter app of Google play and I've noticed that when I switch to full screen in the YouTube app and the play/pause button disappears the screen turns washed out. I don't remember it being like that before I got the app so I uninstalled it and that didn't work so I reset my phone but that still didn't work. It also happens watching videos off the internet in the stock video player. Is there a way to fix this or has it always been like that?
whatever video I try to play let it be my camera video, YouTube, other videos on web just a black screen is visible or just the video thumbnail. The audio of the video plays right and yeah I can get to see the controls on the screen. This is really annoying. Get me a solution for this! :crying:
Android 10. I run Nova Launcher. When I play a video and rotate the screen the screen goes black and locks. I unlock it and it does it again. One time it rebooted. Doesn't matter which app is playing the video.. MX Player Pro, YouTube Vanced, etc.
Any help is appreciated.
Actually music does the same.
Actually ANY rotation makes the screen go black and lock, however only video/audio causes it to reboot.
