but what if i decide to uninstall it after flashing it? can i uninstall it?
You have to create a backup of your current rom (or system if you're lazy).
If you want to remove it, just flash your backup.

Some themes will include a second flashable .zip that will allow you to go back to the base rom. If this is not the case for the theme you chose, then you would have to either restore a nandroid backup or reflash the rom itself.

Either you restore the nandroid backup you made before you flashed the theme or you make your own theme restore if you can't get one from the theme dev. What rom are you on and what theme did you flash?

Hello Everyone!!!
I have samsung galalxy pop/mini gts5570 running Cyanogenmod 7 with Clock work mod recovery. I just wanted to know is there a way to make my own flashable zip file containing all the mostly needed & used application. Since, I have to manually install each app after upgrading or changing my rom, i just though why not install them from a single zip file.
So, anyone can you help me in making my own flashable zip file. Please provide me the directory structure of the file, i will pack the apks myself ... Or if there is any other way to do so plz tell me ...
Thank YOu!!!

I know it can be done with titanium but it is also cumbersome selecting apps and then reinstalling ...
I want to flash them at once from cwm 4.0.0.5 recovery...

Gotcha. The ROM I'm using allows users to customize many of the apps that are installed during flash... even allows us to install our own personal set of apps. This is done with a text doc on the SD card. I know you said you wanted to flash through recovery, but it's sorta the same idea.
Man why don't ya use the batch option in TB and by that option u can backup / restore all your apps in one click to use batch use menu button

I know titanium has batch option that can do it. But I wanted make zip so that I can flash it in CWM recovery this way my files will be organized in one place and it will be fast too.
You can try using app2zip.
using titanium backup pro
I already using titanium back up pro..look optoion,,and make flashable zip..and when it finish the file name is update.zip.. now U just flash your own app+data

No. Go into CWM recovery the normal way and backup there. Even if it can work, don't develop a bad habit.
Even if you could back it up with Rom Manager what would be the point if you couldn't flash it back onto the phone?

Make a backup with CWM.. rename the backup with ROM Manager or CWM Manager... or root explorer.. the "managers" navagate quicker to the backups for me, but root explorer works just fine also

Just get rid of ROM manager all together
I had too many problems with ROM manager, even when creating backups. Just make sure you have the latest and greatest recovery and do everything from recovery. If you need to rename, use root explorer.
I once tried to make a backup from ROM manager, I ended up having to restore to stock and flash a new version of CWM to get my phone out of a boot loop. Not a good feeling (specially if you forgot to backup your apps with TiBU).
Is there any way to delete a mod without having to restore a backup or having to flash the whole rom again ?
this is the mod i wish to uninstall btw: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1997919
PD: OP has not provided any cwm flashable zip file to uninstall, is there any workaround to delete all rom-related files ?
The only way I could think of is to open the mods zip and see what files it replaces, then just replace all of them in your phone with stock ones.
Just make sure to backup and wipe caches incase of problems.

Hello,
I have a S3 9300 and I have now rooted the Device.
I don't have any recovery or anything. I do NOT want to install any Roms.
How do I create a backup of my Build Prop? or like a safe backup?
Thank You

You can create a backup of your build.prop with a file manager that has access to root.
What would you like to back? Just apps or the whole rom/settings?

To create a complete "image" backup you will need to install a recovery but this will turn your counter from zero to one.
The alternative is to use titanium backup to backup all it can then copy your build.prop to another location where you can find it later.

No problems, are you concerned about any kind of warranty?
