Here is the attach screen shot for my device.
Try to flash the correct firmware for your device .
Or pay for a service centre repair .

I hate to admit how much I LOVE seeing these threads where people flash the wrong firmware because they are too lazy to research what they are doing.
Send me your phone, I'll even pay shipping and handling for it. I'll revive it and put it to good use because obviously you have ZERO idea how to use it
-.- flash stock rom n kernel via odin??

Hello gurus,
I got a SGS2 I9100G. I tried to flash the CF-Root kernel in order to root but it failed.
I then went to download mode and tried to install Litening rom.
it always fail at the modem part.
I am so stupid that I did not first check the firmware version already installed !
I am now trying to re-install a stock version and none is working.
I tried vilain rom 1 (supposed to wipe everything) it completes with no error , but it stays stuck at the writing Samsung I9100G . (not the Samsung logo).
I can not go into the recovery mode.
I tried to flash a kernel and things got worse... now I have the 2 computers screen.... Please helppppppppppppppp
Thanks
Ok looks like what you've done is flash software meant for the I9100 model and not the I9100G.
Search through the threads till you find threads specifically about the G model. Read and read a lot. Not joking...read a lot.
Your gonna need Odin, gonna need to boot into download mode and gonna need to flash firmware for the I9100G model.
Hope this points you in the right direction.

since your phone is rooted, why don't you want to upgrade too ICS at once?
Swyped from my Galaxy SII
Hi mate if u want good gb2.3.6 u should go for cheackrom v6 very good stable fast and battery friendly rom + syiah GB kernel every good combo
1.Download ROM and copy to your internal or better to external SD
2.go to cwm vol up+home+pwr btn
3.do backup if u need or don't if u don't need
4.factory reset/wipe cache
5.then install ROM
6.install syiah GB kernel
7.reboot
And that's it

can you give a tutorial link
It is worth to invest few bucks in Chainfire's Mobil Odin Pro from Playstore to flash any Rom (stock or custom) with EverRoot option. It is good solution for people with moderate knowledge about flashing, rooting, etc. It's also safer method for those people because there is no chance to screw up bootloader or choose inproper flash images to selected partitions.
But flashing original stock ICS and rooting it is not so hard. It's free but you need to know some basics.

Gyz if u wanna update ur firmware from gingerbread or ics 4.0.3 to ICS 4.0.4, at first u need 2 wipe ur phone factory data, catch partition & delvic catch. Don't wipe factory data/catch partition from stock recovery in ics 4.0.4. cuz its have brickbug. check if ur phone have brickbug or not by this apps "eMMC brickbug check" from Google play store. After wipe then update ur phone firmware by select PDA in odin. download latest(30/7/12) unbranded European ics 4.0.4 XWLPU stock firmware in this link:
http://db.tt/3nw1oSmr
plz backup ur all necessary document/phone numbers/mms/sms etc. after flash when phone restart & automatic install some apps. After that flash again brickbug free LPU safe kernel by select pda in odin. download brickbug free LPU kernel in this link:
http://db.tt/nmBbS5jg
or
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1807995
Wanna root ur by this link
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1746794
U first read my step by step method then download cwm touch 6.0.1. Zip file & root super su 0.95 Busybox 1.20.2. zip file from 1st page.

I really F'ed up.
I was running ICS on my bell Galaxy S2 but I wanted to try the S3 rom that was released here. (Note that I am somewhat a stupid when it comes to android flashing). I installed a CF-root kernel (phone wasn't CWM at the time) but the phone didn't turn work - it would go to black screen.
So I tried a couple different kernels, nothing worked. Then I went crazy and flashing just about everything. Nothing has changed.
When I turn the phone on, it gets stuck at the Galaxy S II screen. When I go to download mode, it is like usual (no CWM, the standard one). And when I go into recovery, it says "Forced Upload, by key pressing".
What can I do now? I would like to just get the phone working at this point, official firmware that works with kies would be nice. S3 rom would be even better.
Whoever helps me solve this would be my hero. Serious.
EDIT: I am now on clockwork recovery if that helps.

Thank you so much. The phone works perfectly now!
If you know how to get it to the S3 rom (or just get the cool gesture features) that would be nice but if not I'll be happy on stock ICS until I learn a lot more about flashing.

Too late, I already did. It works really well except most of the new features (motion and all that) is missing .
Still a good ROM though. To clarify, it's the S3 ROM that was modified to fit the S2. I found it through google.

You need to give more details about your phone whenever asking for help. Phone model No., which ROM were you on, and any small info that can help.
In any case, you don't need to worry. All you need to do is to flash a stock firmware via Odin. Go to sammobile.com, register (it free), search for firmwares for your device model (I9100 or I9100G, whichever is yours), and download any firmware. Extract it so you get a .tar file. Download Odin (software for PC) and flash the downloaded rom.
If you don't understand or find the steps complicated, ask again.
