Quadrant is the best

Quadrant is the best... if you want some arbitrary feel-good numbers that will likely vary greatly between independent runs, reboots, etc.
I like Antutu or CF-Bench for actual repeatable results that will more accurately reflect changes in performance.

I was wondering if anyone out there is thinking about developing an overclocking kernel that would allow the vibrant to overclock to 2ghz. I have seen a new kernel for the mytouch 4g that allows them to overclock to 2.03 ghz. Which to me is pretty impressive.

Oh you crazy kids comparing quadrant scores haha. Don't trust quadrant it has been proved to be inaccurate on the sga.

It's not being inaccurate, it's a benchmark and you know we should take benchmarks with a pinch of salt.

What are the optimal values for dalvik.vm.heapsize=?
32 is the default, should i go higher? Or is it too much for the x10,?
Sent from my X10a using xda premium
I'm using 42m with no problems & I dont know with the optimal values
Sent from my X10a using xda premium
As far as I know, the lower this value the better the performance, higher values are for better battery life.

Sorry for the double thanks, i was going to thank the guy above(weird)

Anybody else get the update and run full benchmark? My device always smoked the Nexus but this update has an increased score for Nexus, also many added devices.

2106 its what I got which is higher then the last time

Interestingly enough, my score has dropped significantly lol
I used to get about 2750-3200...now its clocking in at around 1500-1575
Yet, my phone still runs just as quick and lagless as ever so I don't really mind the suddenly low quadrant ^^
Wen i change the max freq. To 1600 my device stop working and i dont know if the problem is the kernel or the phone...
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda premium
Your CPU can't handle such a high frequency, it was designed for 1.2GHz.
All CPUs are not equal, it depends on their build quality. Some CPU won't even run at 1.4GHz !

Not all devices can handle being over clocked or under volted. My device can't handle it either.

Have you tried bumping the voltage to get it to 1600?
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda premium
To be honest, you don't even need to increase the frequency of the CPU, 1.2ghz is fine XD I'm running on 800mhz and the phone seems just as stable as it would be on 1.2ghz
How i bump the voltage??
