hi, im a owner of a galaxy ace and have a few queestion. Fist of all im not english natal so if im causing to much trouble with my english and some one can sugest me a good spanish forum it will be nice.
i updated my phone to cyanogenmod and since its only an ace its patetic slow, also new google maps freeces it and make me have to reset it, some times it shutdown alone, i take it out of my poket and its off ¬¬... any solution yet for google maps?
im happy with androit to much free toys but it runs on a virtual machine, isn't there any dedicated mod? any team out there planing such things?
is the cyanogenmod the better android mod?
is the ndk the way to get the full performance of the hardware?

thanks for the answer... sorry offical? in the official cyanogenmod page isn't any support to the ace, where do i find the one you say?
edit: i was surfing the web and found thise "download.cyanogenmod.com/?device=ace" ... what is the meaning of nightly?. is thise link the one for galaxy ace becouse it only says ace not galaxy.

but i get an error and cant install or update google maps to 6.4 posted in thise forum, else form the market, i install the 5.8 apk i have but i what to probe the new one, din't try yet to install other apps

Who said that the official version has been released? I checked that link, all CM7 s there are old ones belong to 2011, no new version (the latest one's add date is 2011-10-09 23:42:29). I dont think they are official and ultimate versions. Please, dont misinform people.

you are certainly gonna get some more comments down in the thread but is should say you don't know things..
this is official cyanogen site from which you are downloading .. and besides check the date of the rom zip... i hope this must be enough for you to take your words back

well the fact is that cooper [SGA] got first official nightly and soon may be some more to come.. you checked wrong device on that site as the build is of today

this is not whole new thing you will see... but as days go you can expect new builds with some bugfixes

in performance i would recomend you Cyanogenmod 9, but is in beta, if you prefer, cyanogenmod 7.2, in battery saving whichever stock rom, (stock is default rom) i would recomend you SGSII, which is the galaxy SII rom ported to ace, sorry for my bad english!

My best rom that currently installed on my phone is cm 7.2 official from samsung and unofficially approved by apple, cooked by google, certified by IAEA for nuclear safety.
The fastest and lightest rom is jelly bean rom and key lime pie rom with a tinch of honeycomb...........yu will love it like hell
If yu want this then do the following:-
1)throw yur ace
2)buy galaxy s2
3)stfu and go to their section for irritating
4)dnt come back to this section
5)dnt post crap anywhere yu like
6)and important thing read the whole section of galaxy ace and then post......

Apologies to the OP but there is no real need for more roms of this style. You may have done a nice job but a 'nice job' won't cut it anymore. We have a friggin rom for everything and anyone. The real gold is in ICS now but I am surprised of people like you who keep going (in a good sense)

So, at first i want to say, maybe this is just a dream, but i just began working on Jelly Bean 4.1.1 ARMv6 PORT to our Galaxy ACE.
It's just a test if it bacomes work, i will develop on.
Hopefully it works, but i think that wouldn't be that difficult cuz it is in many things the same as ics
Remember that i'm a 12 years old noob, which has big dreams to develop something like that
