Does anyone know if the white housing for a i9000 (seen here: http://cnn.cn/shop/samsung-i9100-galaxy-white-housing-p-13328.html) can be swapped and will fit a AT&T Galaxy S2?
it probably would but.... you wouldn't be able to replace the front of the device...
white housing is like 10-15 bucks on ebay if you want to try lol

If you look the picture from the side angle you will see a hole.. that on the inside has a something that our galaxy doesn't have sou if you wear it off the part would fit its easy

thanks for the pics, no offense, but those pics are terrible.
you could've taken a screen shot or snap a pic with your webcam instead of taking a pic of your screen.
any possible way to get clearer pics? would love to see that color combo (white back and black front).
besides grinding off that notch, everything snaps into place?

Yeah, I know. The phone is in the case and the case covers the white part. The phone looks better in one color.
de I777 battery cover fit the I9000 but the I9000 didn't fit the I777 Housing... the why??? Q&A i dunno know! but maybe it was just in my case... currently have white housing black battery cover and black vol. and power buttons! trying a red one in the next few weeks

I am purchasing this dock, and i currently have the original samsung battery wich is 1650mah, and the extended 2000mah one from samsung.
And i was wondering if the 2000mah one fits in the spare slot on this dock?

I just asked them, and they said they did not have a 2000mah battery to test with. But i sent them the measured thickness of it, hoping to get an answer.
The thickness is approx 5.9~6.0mm
how much longer battery life do you get with 2000mah?
is it as simple as (2000-1650)/1650=21%
Yes it does fit, I bought one recently. When it comes to docks and the 2000mah battery, the bottom of the phone is the same thickness as it is with the standard battery.

Ive been using it for like a month or so..i really like the texture..had to cut out the back in order to use my mugen kickstand.

I have the White Hyperion TPU case and back door. I am using it with the Hyperion "5000" mah battery (more like 3000). I can post pics if you like. I have been using it for about 3-4 weeks now and it does not stay white. The blue and black from my pants/jeans/uniform pocket is subbing off on the case. Its a decent case though. Slips in and out of my pockets just fine.
When I can afford it I will likely go with the Mugen battery and back door for the kick stand and better life
Anyway, I can post pics if you need. I know this is a little over a week since last posting.
So I was a little bored tonight. So I figure I would give my outterbox a new look..
1.Auto zone has the paint. With all kinds of color. $7.49 a can
2.Masking tape for the screen cover.
3. A well vented area.
4. Spray away and let it sit for 24hrs.
5. Might have to spray it 3-4 times to get a nice coat on it..
Now your phone looks sexy..

Been thinking of doing this with red. Already modded my Otter to fit the Mugen extended battery so this could be the final touch. Nice job, looks good. As for masking the screen cover though...won't need to do that, I popped it out first thing.
Wish i could paint the ugly great outside cover. Is there a way?

I pop mine out on all my phones... Stick a screen protector on it and put it in the box. Soo much nicer.

I've seen people on YouTube putting it in a dye. But I don't know exactly how to do it, you could Google search it.

i've seen some similar one's to the oem, but the surface is smooth, multi colours including metalic colours.

That's why I'm glad they are only 3.99 so if it is still slippery, at least it was only 3.99 lol might get a white s pen to complete the look and use a jedi rom. Haha

Just ordered one. Will post photos once it's in.
So mine just came in today. I got it in mint green.
The texture of it feels very similar to the one that came with my phone. It also has a little writing on the back that says "Bubblepack".
It didn't fit perfectly when I first tried to put it on, until I tried putting it on starting from the bottom.
It feels a little bit more grippy but that could be because I just got back from biking and my hands are sweaty. Either way, it's not a bad price if you want to change the battery cover color.
