It's open to all. The Note exclusives were supposed to be in the form of a level pack bundled with the ICS update. The update was delayed so the content is available in the Google Play download. On the Note, "Danger Zone" is available for free. Not sure what the deal is on other devices; it may require an in-app purchase or simply be locked for the time being.
Yeah its on Amazon as well. Can't wait to play it looks different which is good. Old angry birds got old

Saw it this morning on the amazon store when I was checking the dailey free app. I didnt want to check the play store because I knew we were supposed to get some free version or something, dunno. I'm not paying for any angry bird madness, I have enough games that dont get any play time.
The one on Google play is free but with ads. I can't find the pay version o play. I'd rather not have ads...

anyone else notice how grainy and ****ty it looks on our notes? every button is super small and all the main load pictures and animations are in small little blocks ment for much smaller phones.
Agreed. What happened to it being meant for our phone? Once again, great marketing, crap implementation.
I'm beginning to think some people got some jacked up screens cause this game looks damn good on my note...besides the small buttons i dont see anything graphically that would make me think that..
Here are 2 quick vids from YouTube on each device. The icons and text are very small on the note. I've only tried it on my Note for a few mins. I was gonna test it on the iPad but didn't feel like really paying for it twice. I guess I will to compare. Curious to see how big text and icons will be on the new iPads high resolution.

Yea, I saw that. I'd rather keep as many purchases in one "app store" as possible though. Who knows how long the Amazon experiment will last, not to mention after a while it gets hard to remember where you bought something from.
Example is Bejewelled 2. I know I bought it - but neither Amazon nor Play show me a download option - both want $2.99 for it.

I don't notice any graininess (and I suffer from the dreaded black crush or whatever). But the loading screens and animations do appear in windows 1/3 the size of my screen. But that's expected because my screen is awesomener than everyone else.

Anyone know if the one that Amazon offers includes the Note specific content? Or is that waiting on the premium suite upgrade that Samsung has touted?

That sucks. Should be a one time charge from market. I hate games that do this, they are just a waste of money especially if its to buy ingame upgrades. Just horrible.
i will play the free till im bored then delete im not payin 15 dollars their trippin
I was swilling to pay the $14 anyways before it was free so no biggie to me.
installed now on my atrix and my acer iconia but i have to wait to try it. cant play at work

The graphics are amazing, but I think its messing with my brightness controls. Seems really bright. Also I am totally losing to the pirates when you team with gartun.. or w/e his name is. Does the data store on SD?

well it's not really an 'upgrade', you're basically playing the "LITE/FREE" version and you would be paying for the FULL version. we are actually getting a demo version for the Tegra, whereas anyone else who wanted to even try the game has to actually buy it flat-out.
Its on the market... Game is pretty difficult.died like 5 times
My question is if we buy it in game, is the license transferable like normal market games?
Update: I'm a sucker for these Star Fox styled games. SF64 is the best game, and I just got suckered into buying this. These graphics are amazing! I wish the audio clips had a bit longer of a pause after talking. It doesn't sound natural. Crashed once directly to the home screen, and I hope there is an update in the future to disable the brightness. When you turn towards the star(s), it gets super bright. I might post a review on this.

is it just me or are the controls pretty bad?
They are somewhat finicky. It's kind of difficult to implement the controls of this style with a single analog stick. Think SuperMan 64 (lol not!).

Speaking of not compatible... I noticed there's a lot of good games that aren't. Being new to Android for the most part - why is that? Seems like the phone has enough power to run them.

No. Most of the games that "aren't compatible" with the Note would run fine. My Xoom runs these games flawlessly and it has the same resolution on a larger screen and isn't as powerful. The Note is plenty powerful enough and virtually all of those "incompatible" games can be made to work with relatively simple root changes and sideloading. Search around a bit and you can find info on it. N.O.V.A. 2 running on the Note is nothing new....
Good luck.

I bought this as well. Contacted Gameloft support because the return function didn't refund the app. They gave me a link to download N.O.V.A 2 HD which FC's when you start a new game still trying to get my 49¢ back after a days worth of emails.
Sent from my SGH-I717R using XDA
I tried changing the build.prop to show as the international version. It worked and allowed me to download the additional game data. Strangely modern combat 3 worked perfect but games such as 9mm and asphalt 6 didnt work correctly. Asphalt had a strange camera angle where you are shifted to the right so itz unusable and 9mm has a pink color on the start screen. Probably due to the different hardware. I downloaded the adittional data for Modern COmbat 3 and changed the build prop back to the att galaxy note. Atleast i got one "incompatible" game to work
This happened to me as well, emailed google 3 times but no reply yet...
I can't even find the game in the market anymore, or in my apps.
please update once anybody gets a refund or get this game to work.
It should say incompatible before you actually pay.. I tried it with one of the other games and I clicked buy it started downloading and when it tried to install aborted and said incompatible, and I wasn't charged even though I authorized purchase...
Just side load. Did it with nova off my a500

I'm getting ready to buy a Note (coming from the Infuse) and I was curious if anyone knows how the Note handles apks from other phones. Does the Note automatically stretch to fit its screen or will the app display in its native resolution (ie. 480x800)?
Also, does the market honor already purchased apps? Meaning, if I bought say Soundhound for my Infuse, can I automatically download it from the market for the Note when the time comes? Or do I need to buy them again? Some of them cost $5 while others were on sale for a penny.
I have over 50 games and apps installed on my Infuse, so I'm hoping the transition will be as painless as possible.

So far, from what I have seen, the apps just stretch, same way as phone apps stretch on tablets with high resolution.
Also, your purchases in the app store will work on any device you have set up with your Google account, so yes, it will be a painless transition, and your purchased apps well show up if you hit menu –> my apps. No need to repurchase.

Some apps that aren't written properly for higher resolutions will only fill up a certain portion of the screen, but I've only found one of these..
https://play.google.com/store/apps?feature
" Google Play crossed a rather significant milestone this morning: something to the tune of 25 billion app downloads. While the accomplishment is weighty enough on its own -- especially given that the store also offers books, music and movies, which aren't included in this tally -- Google is celebrating in symbolic style with a number of apps and games for sale at just $0.25 over the next five days. Among the mix of discounted titles, you'll find publishers such as Gameloft, Electronic Arts, Rovio, Runtastic and Full Fat. Not to stop there, shoppers will also discover a curated collection of 25 must-own movies, 25 banned books, 25 albums that changed the world and 25 top-selling magazines.
With today's announcement, it was revealed that 675,000 apps and games now live in Google Play -- a healthy increase when compared to 600,000 titles and 20 billion installs just three months ago. As you might expect, Apple still claims the largest selection with 700,000 titles in its App Store, although with such a thin separation between the two, we may see Google Play eclipse its rival in short order."

Loving Nova Prime. Very fast and can customize just about everything.
First it was Angry Birds Star Wars. Now, I can't download Modern Combat 4 or GTA Vice City for this phone.
Why can't this phone play those games? I am beginning to get annoyed with this.
-DJ
Because its the first 1080p display and devs haven't worked on it to accommodate yet.
Also, Angry Birds Star Wars HD works. Just gotta shell out cash for it. Which is why I haven't bothered with it. It's a time killer at work, but not worth money to me.
I have the paid version of Angry Birds SW HD and as soon as I click on a level, the app exits. I hear this is the norm for DNA owners.
I just want to play the games, they don't have to make it 1080p for me to enjoy them. If it's the screen ratio they are worried about, just either stretch it or black bar it on the screen.
All you could do is email the app developer about it. Though as it stands now, a very very small percentage of android users have a 1080p display so the incentive for developers to update their apps to accommodate it is very minimal. Such is the downside of the early adopter. Of course, it will get much better is 2013 as most high-end phones are likely to come out with 1080p displays.

dont think of the resolution as much as the Pixel density... here is a list of pixel density of just about every phone is under 300ppi or just above... Iphone retina displays are 326... samsung Galaxy s3(306ppi) and Note 2(267ppi) .... I almost think app developers are scared to let us download it and it look like crap so they just lock it out from the market... MC4 looks great and plays awesome on my DNA but the fact that I had to buy it on my Nexus7 and transfer the backup to my DNA to get it to work is alot of work. Hope they get around to figuring this out sooner than later.

I can't run Reign of Amira on the phone. It loads for 3 second and just stuck on a screen with girls pic, without menu. May be it is restricted to Verizon users only? Could it be possible? Cause when i try to download it from Play, it says - available only for Verizon... Any idea how to run it?

It would look exactly the same on a DNA as any other 1080p device. It would actually look better on the DNA than on a tablet because the pixels are closer together.
