Hello,
I'm wondering if the RAZR displays small caller pictures because they are set as such in Google or just because that's the maximum size? Anyone has an idea?
And also, is it possible to mod the phone app in some way as to show bigger images?
Thanks!
Check out big screen caller ID in the market.
It's free and does the job .

It is, but I kinda hopped to avoid yet another app that does what the stock one should.

Hey guys, I have an issue with the app scaling on my atrix. The apps work fine but some apps such as weather eye and a few others.. They don't take up the whole screen, only half of it. Their scaling is all messed up... Their size is smaller than the screen size... I hope I'm making sense... I did some reading and found out that its because of the screens resolution. Is that true? And if it is then is there a way to fix it somehow. Thank you for all your help...

Some apps do not support qhd. If development is active however, try sending off an email to the dev, might be surprised to see a fix!

Download spare parts and disable compatibility mode.
Problem solved
cheers
and I will confirm that this does indeed work with Weathereye.
I got the full screen caller id app and besides doing a crappy job of matching my contacts the images shown are big but very low res :/

Hi, I just got a RAZR today, my friend Cody bought me one because I gave him a ride to go see Chronicle, and I love it so far.
The only problem is, when using the camera, it sticks in landscape.
I find that pretty annoying, because with AOSP/MIUI cameras, I mostly use it in portrait.
Does anyone know how to get it to change to portrait????
Thanks!
To clarify, whats in portrait? The camera app or the gallery after u take the pics? The camera is in the same position regardless of orientation.
You can try checking your screen orientation toggle if its the gallery your referring to after you take the pics

Mine does it too. Either you can install a different camera app or live with it. The reason it does it is so that you have access to the different settings.

This may be a dumb question but I just got the ICS update and can't figure out if it's possible to change the apps that appear on the lock screen. Is there a way to do this?

You mean lockers? I suggest you take a look at the store and look for lockers.
Cheers!

Do u guys know what the best size/resolution for the lock screen wallpaper is? I can't get it right and my high res pictures end up looking distorted... Thanks

It needs to match the native screen resolution of 1280x800
Yea but when i crop a wallpaper with the native resolution it comes out distorted....

What are you setting it with?
The stock gallery... sucks, use quikpic, don't uninstall or freeze the stock gallery you need it to be able to set the lock screen wallpaper with quikpic...if it's not present that option won't appear in quikpic

Actually i use gallery 3d so i don't freeze that app.... Quickpik is what i am using to set it... I just can't seem to get.that hd looking quality even when i use large pics that are 1600x1200... I figure.their is a resolution that would allow you the perfect quality with the CEO box expanded fully.. U know what i mean?
