Car Kit - Nokia Lumia 800

Just a random question...
I have a Parrot CK3200LS car kit and although it works ok with the Lumia 800 when I receive a call it goes through to the phone and I have to press Bluetooth for the call to be transfered through to the car kit.
I've had a nosey round the phone but wanted to know if there is a setting to auto answer when connected via bluetooth.

BT Handsfree & Nokia Car Kits...

Has anyone managed to get their XDA II working with the new Nokia BT handsfree car kits. I tried using BT Tools but failed to get it to work, has any progress be made using an alternative method?
Cheers
NOKIA BLUETOOTH HANDSFREE KITS & XDA2
 i've managed to get my XDA2 to receive phone calls and send them to my Nokia Bluetooth car kit - but i am unable to phone out and then transfer sound back to the car kit - so only incoming calls for now.
i downloaded and installed the pocketpc bluetooth tools:-
http://bluetooth.i-networx.de/BTHTools1100.zip
onto my xda and it now allows me to select headset on bonding and accept incoming calls.
if anyone knows how to connect outgoing calls through my nokia BT car kit then i would love to here from them.

Installing XDAii software on an Orange SPV M1000

The Orange SPV M1000, same as a XDAii, does not allow 2 headset profile bluetooth devices to be connected
The phone works fine with my Motorla 810 bluetooth headset.
It will also work fine with the Parrot 3300 to take and make calls, run TomTom3 sat nav and Livewire Speedcare.
The problem is the software on Orange will not allow 2 devices to be paired and stored on the phone which have bluetooth headset profile recognised. When the second device is paired it stops recognisning the headset capabilities of the first device.
Orange do not have a care kit profile for the phone.
This brings significant problems in moving from car to foot as one has to repair the alternative device. All settings and voice commands are then lost for the previous device.
Can anyone direct me to somewhere I can have the O2 software installed or an alternative solution for allowing 2 Bluetooth headset profile devices being paired at one time. Only one device will be connected at a time.

Bluetooth reconnect issue

Having some trouble with the bluetooth on my car kit with the Evo 3D. I have no idea if anyone here can help, but I'll see if you guys have any suggestions. I play podcasts through my car kit to my car stereo. I have been able to successfully pair the phone to the car kit, both for handsfree and a2dp. The problem is that after I turn the car off, the bluetooth fails to reconnect when I turn the car back on. I had an iPod also paired to it and that always reconnected without issue.
If I go into the bluetooth control panel and try to manually connect it, it fails as well. The only way to make it work is to unpair the phone from the car kit, and re-pair it again. After that it works until either the car kit or phone is disconnected again. I'm not sure why it works once, and then not again. Is some app on the phone possibly messing with it?
Any ideas?
Well, it works fine with my iPod, and my Palm Pre, so I tried my wife's LG Optimus. There must be an issue with this car kit and Android phones because it worked about the same with her phone as it does my Evo 3D. I did actually get it to reconnect automatically with her phone once, but could never get it to work again after that. So, off to Amazon I go to look for a new car kit...

Bluetooth voice commands?

Hi all,
Is it true that Android and the SGSII don't work well with car hands free kits? I have a ford, and I have paired my phone with the vehicle, and it seemed to share my contacts with the car - but when I press the phone button in the car, it beeps, and then I get 'Unable to initiate voice commands' on the car display. Phone does nothing.
Google seems to indicate this is a common problem, and there is hope for OS4. Is this true - or can it be done?

[Q] Bluetooth Car Kit Issue?

Has anyone had a problem with connecting the 920 to a car kit?
I've got a Vauxhall (GM) Insignia with the built in car kit. The 920 will connect to the car and the phone book and call lists will sync, however, when I try to make a call I get a message on the screen saying "Dialing Failed". I can make calls from the phone and they will go through the BT car kit. Same if I receive a call I can use the buttons on the steeringwheel to answer the call.
I did have a HTC HD2 with Winphone 7.5 and that worked flawlessly with the car kit, but this isn't so happy. Anyone got any suggestions?
As an aside, how do you change the name of the Phone so it doesn't just appear as "Windows Phone"?
Thanks

Use the Windows Phone App in Win8 to change the name. Maybe uss the Market (on a desktop browser, log in) to change the name - forgot if that's an option.
As far as cars go, every bluetooth phone I've had has been hit or miss - even the iPhone 4 I had worked, didn't work, then worked again at various versions of iOS on my Nissan.
I have a GM (Traverse) and it seems to like both my HTC Titan 7.5 and my Lumia 920 - the bluetooth stack in WP8 is different than the one used in WP7.5, apparently that's causing you issues.
Can you initiate voice calling from the steering wheel hands free? I can do that in my GM but not in my Nissan - if you can then you don't need the address book to sync.

Name: Yeah, worked that one out after I posted the message, thanks anyway
No, using the voice control doesn't work, the Dialing Failed message. Lets hope the first update may help
I can't even connect to the BT Kit in my Ford Focus. When I hit connect, the car doesn't show the PIN to connect as it should. The car kit works with HTC One X and iPhone 4s as expected. Read somewhere, that some BT protocols are missing in WP8. Rumours say, that this might get fixed with the next bigger update for WP in Q1 13. Let's hope it.

Had the same issue with my 2012 Ford Ranger, eventually got it working by doing the following:
When you pair your Lumia with your car, enter any PIN on your Lumia even if your car doesnt give you a pin. Once you enter a PIN on your Lumia and hit enter your car should provide you with the correct PIN to enter, then just enter the provided PIN and it should work.
