i realized, while talking to a friend, that i had not released our Full Touch recovery for X10... so i thought i should make it and this would be a perfect goodbye gift to my X10 friends
so i present to you FULL TOUCH RECOVERY FOR Xperia X10!
Touch capabilities are added by my teammate (Team UtterChaos) Napstar....
DooMRecovery is a part of BootManager and will reside on the main kernel of the device!

Honeycomb themed FULL Touch interface
swipe gesture support!!! - the hotspot for this is across full screen
swipe left to GO BACK/ Scroll UP
swipe right to Scroll Down
paging support when there is too much text to be displayed on screen (e.g. when browsing folders)
haptic feedback - when u touch screen the device will vibrate little bit
shows current time (time when the recovery was entered/started)
uses new Roboto FONT (from latest CWM repo)
new "select update.zip menu": it will give u a new option - "show file details" - which will display the size (in bytes) and the MD5SUM of the selected file
added prompt to display the "backup folder name" when user starts restoring a backup
added a warning and option to abort backup if space on sdcard is < 150 MB
current battery level/percentage displayed (based on amit.bagaria implementations for his CF-Root kernel for SGS-SL)
removed Wipe cache partition from main menu (u can format /cache from "Mounts & Storage" menu)
moved "Power Off" under "reboot options" menu
changed text of most menus to fit the new honeycomb inspired design
the Nandroid backups & restore now show/displays which files were used to restore/what the backup is called (folder name)
added "advanced backup" menu (based on amit.bagaria implementations for his CF-Root kernel for SGS-SL)
now u can selectively choose which partitions to backup
its like a toggle
once u have finished choosing which partitions u want just click on "perform backup" and only those partitions will be backed up!!!
when any update.zip is selected its complete file name will now be displayed (right at the top) before flashing begins

power on device

when u see the BLUE LED light up and a small vibration from the device, keep pressing MENU key & u will enter BootManager
multiple control options
ITS FULL TOUCH RECOVERY! so click on the menu "icons"/"buttons" to activate them
swipe LEFT to go BACK or SCROLL UP
swipe RIGHT to go BACK or SCROLL DOWN
OR
VOL UP/VOL DOWN key to move Up/Down in menu
HOME key to select item

Key is Volume Down and not Menu for me
I had xrecovery preinstalled menu key is activating xrecovery for me.
Other then that Recovery looks cool.

From top post looks like he has only combined the doom recovery with stock kernel for stock rom.

1) sources will be released later
2) this ramdisk should work on any stock GB rom+kernel... if u want to use it on CM7 then u need to make changes to ramdisk... touch recovery wont work on CM9/ICS kernels (i think)... i will include this in my kernel soon...

Hi Guys, as promised I have completed and made available my first custom rom based on upgrading 2.3.4 which brings important news' compared to 2.3.3:
Brightness' display can be set at will (finally)
Video recording at 720p with continuous autofocus range (Excellent features)
+ Other changes to the system to make it even better.
My rom has a completely Custom Theme-style mixer with the addition of Power ''Menu'' Reboot with the new entry (by the user and his thomassafca(thank you).
[THEME] Samsung Galaxy S II which was inspired and edited personalmenteil my theme), the most icons taken from the ''new'' Ice Cream Sandwich
PS: I remind you that neither I nor the site xda-developers.com be liable for any damages that may result in using the files posted by me, being totally at your own risk, remember that you must necessarily have some experience, otherwise forget it the rom in question and try another.
Needs Unlocked Bootloader:

Flashing the Kernel process
• download the boot.img
• save the folder where you boot.img file and ADB fastboot.exe
• Turn off the phone
• Start the device in fastboot mode (hold down the key physical (magnifier) and connect to the PC, the LED should be Blue)
• ADB Use the commands below to flash the boot.img.

• Reboot the phone and enjoy the new Kernel
• Supports up to overclocking 1.6GHZ,or 2GHZ DoomLord Kernel Recommended maximum GHz 1.4
Removed some applications in my opinion, unnecessary and above all the bloatware (app third parties in the original ROM) that weigh down the system and is said to affect the consumer battery ;-)
Root permissions enabled, and much more.
PS: Cache2sd not compatibly for the new firmware 2.3.4 At the moment.
NOTE: To install my rom must have installed the new firmware [UK GENERIC] R800i 4.0.2.A.0.42 which also includes Italian, in addition to the unlocked bootloader and the kernel of the great DoomLord(thank you)

to navigate UP -> HOME button OR D-PAD LEFT button
to navigate DOWN -> MENU button OR D-PAD RIGHT button
to SELECT option -> SEARCH button OR START button
"reboot into recovery" will now be lot faster
revamped layout for recovery menu (to improve navigation) [renamed few options and changed their order]
changed "wipe data/factory reset" option to just "factory reset", and detailed the partitions which will be wiped
some modification in "Partition SDCard" section:
put up a confirmation to warn the user that this option will wipe sdcard
added ability to select filesystem (for /sd-ext partition) when creating new layout
I added some features like the Mobile Bravia Engine more other useful applications.

Benchmarks mean nothing, there so easy to fool, a dev could make a rom with awesome benchmark scores, but it wouldnt mean the rom would be any good in reality

Doomlord released an app in the arc section to fool quadrant. I got 3600 with no overclock. I think if i overclocked to 2ghz i'd be looking at 5/6000

How we did that?
We have developed a Auto-Magic installation script that will work on any Xperia device by customising system files appropriately during flashing.
Some of the many new and unique features of the upcoming TEAM ROM:
1. Quick sound profiles integrated into the ROM -forget any 3rd party apps, now it's all accessible from the power menu
2. Brightness toggle control with a neat popup you can bring up any time from your statusbar
3. TEAM Tweaks (customise your clock/date/battery/signal text color/size/font, integrated battery bar)
4. Transparency everywhere you look!
5. Elegant TEAM theme
6. New Clock and Calendar from leaked Xperia S GB ROM
7. Tweaks for ambient sensor, minfree and more
8. Enhanced power menu with reboot options: Reboot, Reboot in Recovery, Reboot in Fastboot. If you choose the latter, you will be prompted to insert your USB cable and the procedure will complete only after you have! As convenient as it gets
9. Compatible with any 2.3.4 ROM, any kernel, any current setup. It will not wipe your data or intefere with the way you have been using the phone so far. It will only make it MUCH better
We are introducing the "ROM/AddOn" concept and we are looking forward to your feedback.

HOW TO INSTALL:
REQUIREMENTS
HAVE AT LEAST 50% BATTERY BEFORE STARTING!
You must also me on a 2.3.4 Stock Firmware
( This is not a Stock based ROM, it is a Sony Stock Firmware )
You will also need Root and CWM
This will work on either Locked or unlocked bootlaoders that meat the above requiments
NO DATA WILL BE WIPED DURING INSTALLATION!
1. Boot into Recovery and make a NANDROID BACKUP ( This is really IMPORTANT, as we can't recover your data! If the fan gets soiled )
2. Flash the "TEAM_ROM_v0001_HDPI.zip" via Recovery.
3. Reboot and let the phone do it's thing as it will be rebuilding caches and settling.
First boot can take up to 10 minutes so be patient!
If you want to use your own custom Clock font:
1. You should place your custom font in folder /system/TEAM/font and it should be a .ttf file named clock_font.ttf.
2. Go to Settings > Tweaks and check the option Custom Font for whatever element you wish (clock, battery, signal, date).

Q: Where is AppMan?
A: AppMan will suffer a full rewrite and will be ready for a future update!
Q: Can I use this or that kernel for unlock or locked bootloader?
A: ALL kernels built for stock ROMs WILL WORK on this rom. We have tested all of them so take our word for it. ( yes we are flash junkies )
Q: Can I use this or that theme?
A: Short answer, no. Unless of course it is built of our framework. We have made MASSIVE mods to the framework so most themes will disable most, if not all, options in the Tweaks app.
( unfortunatly themers dont like our framework as it changes too often )
Q: I am getting a FC on this or that, can you help me!
A: NO. We can't help you. Because what you just said means nothing to us.

First of all, AMAZING rom, I've been using it the whole day and not only is it incredibly fast, I haven't had a single reboot or freeze up of any kind.
Now on to the bugs!! (I'm on stock .42 using Night-Elf kernel V9)
1) I got an FC when selecting reboot options, I've attached a logcat that reproduces the error twice, so you might see a lot of repeated info, the procedure to reproduce the FC is the following:

1) Bring up the Power Options Menu
2) Select Reboot
3) Press the Back button
2) In the call screen, the contact info (name & number) is overlapping over the contact picture, I've attached a picture showing the problem
Finally I've got a few questions:
1) Is is possible to enlarge the contact picture a bit??, 'cause it's awfully small
2) Is there a way to change the quick options icon color??, I'd like to be able to choose the color.
3) I have zeppelinrox's V6Supercharger installed, however it seems that the minfree values you tweaked will be overwritten by that script, is it compatible with your ROM??

This Rom must be flashed over a stock 2.3.4 firmware. It will not work over fxp

Sony Ericsson Released their new ICS Beta rom yesterday
Since there is no real guide on how to install this on your SE Xperia Neo, I thought I'd make one
Add-ons are beneath the installation instructions

Because people are wondering what works and what doesn't on this rom:

Before you start with the installation of the ICS beta rom make sure you're bootloader is unlocked!
First download all the necessary files:
- The rom with all fixes inside: Mediafire link
- Gapps for ICS if you want to enable face unlock:http://goo-inside.me/gapps/gapps-ics-20120224-signed.zip
- .ftf to increase internal storage from 380mb to 420mb (attachment - bottom of this post)
- ADB drivers installer if onyone would need it http://www.wupload.com/file/2666917467/Flashtool-drivers.exe
How to install:
1) extract files.rar and open folder
2) copy the MT15i_Neo_ICS_rom_v1.1.zip and gapps_ICS.zip to the root of your SD card
3) connect your phone in fastboot mode to pc (press menu button + plug in usb cable) the led of your phone should be blue
4) type "fastboot flash boot kernel.img" and press enter
5) Now we are going to install the Rom and gapps for Face Unlock:
- unplug your phone and turn it on
- when the led of your phone turns blue keep tapping volume button down until you enter the recovery
- choose "install zip from sd-card" choose the MT15i_Neo_ICS_rom_v1.1.zip and confirm
- choose "install zip from sd-card" choose the gapps_ICS.zip and confirm
6) Let's wipe all data to be sure you have a clean installation:
- choose "factory reset" and confirm
- choose "wipe cache" and confirm
- choose "advanced" - "wipe Dalvik-cache" and confirm
7) reboot your phone and follow the wizard and you have a fully working ICS beta rom with Wifi, Bluetooth, back and front-facing camera
8) Go to the market and add your google account and accept all the things
9) Go to settings => Security => Lockscreen => and enable face unlock
10) For the extra internal memory:
- flash the .ftf file via flashtool
- Open flashtool and click on the lightning bolt
- choose flashmode
- browse to the directory where you put the .ftf file
- Click ok
- connect your phone in flash mode (press back button + attach usb cable) led of your phone turns green
11) boot your phone and you have 420mb of internal memory
Add-ons for ICS Alpha by DoomLord, that work on the ICS beta rom
- ICS Boot animation (attachment - bottom of this post)
Install add-ons via recovery => install zip from sd-card
Well that's it, I hope this thread is usefull and not a waste of my time

Nice walkthrough.
Only make fastboot commands bold, many users make same mistake. They use only command fastboot flash boot for all 3 files, instead of using boot,system,userdata.

Yeah,it almost full working ICS rom, I play around for a while like playing games,testing application,and what I can say this ROM is good
However I experienced heat from my Neo and the battery life in my opinion is somewhat good.
The gaming experience is better. I think this ROM is good enough
Great work even tho I can't use WiFi and Bluetooth :/

gaming better than G.B ? hmmm i heard they will be including the new adreno 205 drivers to push this gpu to it's real limits....
also will it work with night elf or adridu kernels ? i guess not because of the G.B ramdisk maybe....

If you van flash a kernel with Fastboot, you can flash the other two things.
I have a couple of questions, first relating to the Kernel, I flashed the wifi fix and the Wifi still doesn't turn on for me, how can I edit the build.prop to enable it?
second is, does this Official Beta rom not have Google apps pre-installed? Also I don't have Android Market or the Play Shop

This rom was built to satisfy the need for a stock-based rom with all its bloatware removed and a much faster UI for daily use. To bring such a rom to all the Xperia 2012 phones, This was the aim of the Xperiance Lite Project. After the extremely succesful launch of v1 of Xperiance Lite for the U, v2 Arrived in the new year with me and Chukudu's hard work. I just noticed that I included a few unoptimized apks and as a result, there was a huge memory leak causing wastage of RAM Quite unacceptable for a Performance Rom So, here's a fix Also removed my LagFree Script as even though it could reduce loading lag, it filled up RAM too quickly. WIll look into readding it after increasing zram and comparing performance Huge Thanks to Deigonnc for pointing out the high RAM usage to me else I wouldnt have bothered to check Please hit Thanks button to him in 4th page Cheers

Hints for Better Performance
Go to Settings>Development Options and Change Animation and Transition Speed to 0.5x
If you added Governors, Open NoFrills CPU Control and change Governor to Lulzactiveq and Scheduler to SIO. Tick the 'Set On Boot' Option.
Bugs & Fixes
1) Install QuickPanelSettings from systemui/4 in data folder of zip and then untick all the Options if System Preferences crashes in the 3rd tab
2) If you get an FC in Settings, when you try to open CPU Control, it means NoFrills wasnt installed ( My bad ) Just install it from Play Store and it will work fine Or apply my Hotfix #1
3) If you are using Munjeni's kernel and not getting wifi, reinstall the Memtweaks package made by Munjeni and it will start working again
Corrigendum
It was brought to my notice that Ive been wrongly attributing the CWM Touch Recovery used by my roms to Atis112, when the actual Developer was Munjeni. However, due praise is needed for Atis too for having modified Chargemon to get recovery working for Locked Bootloaders. @Munjeni :My sincere appologies to Munjeni for my oversight and hope I didnt offend you by not giving you the praise you rightly deserve Thanks again for bringing us CWM Touch and also for not having my rom taken down for the matter as a few others might have done

Hey guys, Me, Chukudu and M4ST3R-V believe in a bloatfree environment which is why we dont link to brand the rom all over with our names. However, we'd love to see users of our work and also appreciate the awareness raised for this rom by using some sigs we have Its totally at your convenience and choice Nothing motivates devs more than seeing people happy with their work and we are no different. So seeing people wearing our colours really gives us a boost and inspires us to make newer releases in future [ Plus, Im a greedy bugger who wants to see how many fans our work has ]

I have only one question: Will installing an app from extra package (i suppose you will add a link for it later ) replace a system app? For example: if i will install Apex launcher, will it replace the stock launcher in system? It would be a lot more convenient .

A nice changelog would be much appreciated, is this based on stock or on cm9 by fxp ?
hey bro i very glad for this very hard work and very happy for this great V3, just flash this and when i try change the cps settings via Xperiance settings this say me " desafortunely settings has stoped" ... will try change with nofrills CPU .

the reason for not need to wipe is, AROMA make this for you xD

If running Stock-Based Rom, skip to Next Step. Else, if you are using a Custom CM Kernel, flash CWM for Locked Bootloader by Atis, then install Stock or Stock-based Kernel.
