Dear all,
I cannot open google play store on my phone. Each time I try to access play store for downloading apps I get a crash notification. Can it be repaired?; is it possible to download the playstation app from another source.
Please help!!!

Settings > Applications > Manage applications > All > Google Play Store and then clear the data and cache. Try that, it might work
If the above directions don't work, same steps, bit uninstall. Then google android market apk (sorry, on my phone at the bar, don't feel like looking for the apk file) then download and reinstall.

as per your instructions but didn't work. So I installed the app and reinstalled it. It solved the problem.

I'm having the same problem with my HTC desire C, but i cant uninstall the play store, it just comes up with "disable". Any other ideas?

Guys, I have a problem, randomly my app icon stopped working, with a massage saying that the application is not installed. I went to the apps and I don't see it.
With out the market icon I don't knnow how to reinstall the market app.... any help? Thanks

Google have replaced the Market with "Play Store". Lousy name but you have to install it. It should be in your Apps now.

So I keep getting this damn message when trying to download an app... Wiped cache and data of the play store app and still no go any other ideas????

Same here!!! It's pissing me off!
Need to wipe cache from Google services framework also. Then reboot.
If that doesn't work, remove your Google account in accounts and sync and sign in again.

I get that too. I thought it was from flashing the vm firmware because I didn't notice it til then. So everyone has this problem?

I installed an app on my wish list by accident. I didn't want to so I uninstalled it, however I can't put it on my wish list. What happened? Why can't I re add it?

Interesting. Try clearing cache and data, if that fails, install a copy of Play Store from AndroidPolice or something, and push to /system/app, if THAT fails, try a factory reset. If for what ever reason, THAT fails, your stuck.
(P.S I have no responsibilty if you mess up your device trying to Factory Reset or installing another copy of Google Play.)

Try going to the settings and find applications, find the Google play and drive app and force quit/stop as well as clear data for both.
