Eryigit 2.3.6 rom bouncing effect - Samsung Galaxy Player 4.0, 5.0

Hi there.
I have to say that I'm enjoying this rom and is flawless so far, is a good work.
But i wanna ask something, is there any chances to enable the bounce effect in the menus instead of the overscroll glow effect (dunno how is called)?
Best Regards

[Q] Changing highlight color

So I flashed Eugene's excellent Vibrant 9 ROM, but the wretched highlight color is on a very unsightly orange color.
Is there a way to change it to something less... distracting? (such as blue, black, or white)
I've looked online for a metamorph to change it but no dice.
Thanks!
You can download adw launcher. There is a section in adw settings you can change it to whatever you want. Changing to adw was the first thing I did to my vibrant. Find it in the market. It's free too.

Thanks!
Although I'm currently using LauncherPro and I seriously love it, I think I'll try out ADW as I've heard great things about it.
Do you think it's possible to extract the blue highlight that's already on stock TouchWiz and apply it to this ROM? I don't think ADW will change all aspects of the UI from that bright orange to a cool blue.
You can pull just the highlights from the stock rom... I use ninja morph to do simple stuff like that..

Thanks, that helps a lot.
I know I'm not so adept at android, but I only just got my phone a few days ago.
Can you enlighten me how to pull the highlights though? I'm not so sure what to do after installing ninjamorph and slapping on the stock rom I got from
"True Stock 2.1 firmware for vibrant"
Thanks again!

Do people really like overglow?

It seems that virtually all modders are adding overglow as opposed to bounce.
I am baffled as I think overglow looks cheapish compared to bounce.
Do people really prefer overglow or how has this whole overglow epidemic come about?
It seems that the overall goal of modders is to make roms cleaner and then they go and add this eye poop. I don't get it.
Are 'bloat' graphics really desired?
I do not mean to offend anyone. Obviously taste is individual.
If you want a moderate answer, then, I don't like it, if you want a bold answer, then, I HATE it.
Regards.
I find the bounce just way off and horrible. Overglow effect though looks very sophisticated and comfortably eyecandy to give a modern look. But that's just my opinion.

Overglow bounce is for children.

Gonna wait for a release version on that CM7, cant have a partial functioning phone
Don't like it either, used to think it was just me being old fashioned. I turn off all animation
It's so rare that I see either that I could care less. But overglow bounce like in CM7 was the nicest.

I definitely prefer overglow over a bounce effect. A matter of taste.
Overglow for me too. I navigate fast through the menus and I always have to wait for the bounce effect to finish before clicking anything.
I really prefer the bounce effect. I find overglow ugly and you can make it bug if you go very fast.

Best ROM for visual effects

Can you guys tell me which is the best ROM for visual effects for sgs2? I just want people to look at my phone and say wow! If you get my drift. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

thanks
looks amazing but they should do a pink one lol
hmm purple seems to be a nicer color compared to pink.. but abit gayish though lol.
Nothing beats the MIUI(me you eye) for eye candy along with go keyboard and neon colour..
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA App
hmm, I am using miui interface but I find the neon go keyboard or should I say the cowboy theme kind of inbalance to the miui theme.. unlike using the multiling keyboard which only change the lettering on glow.. that will be even more perfect.
I like the Criskelo ROM, it isn't the most visual tweaked ROM but I like it because the window animations are a bit tweaked. Such as when loading an app or loading XDA app the loading animation is a bit different and more visual. I can't explain it very wel :$ but I like it very much
SkyRom is also a nice ROM if you want VERY visual themed. Only used the SkyRom when KG6 was new, so don't know how it is right now.
Good luck with your choice!

Gone for sky ROM looks good so far. Thanks

I thought all of the ROMs had some bugs as well until I installed RC6. Runs way nicer than my phone did stock. Much faster, dramatically less force closes, etc.
I think you're better off just running this with saurom rather than expecting someone to custom make this for you.
ok cool,,now ics is out,,i gotta check that out,,lol

[Q] Toggle settings in XWLSD. Ugly movement, order, and so on

I've found that in Jelly Bean, the stock rom makes something like a jump or little movement of toggle settings when you push down the notification area.
Is there any mod for stock rom to config these toggles ? (visible or not, order, take off that ugly movement, ...)
Best regards,
I've noticed this behaviour too. I wonder if it's intended or just a bug.

it's samsung'ed style notification bar..you can install mods but i like it..
I know is it samsung'ed style, but I hate it. I normally connect and disconnect 3G DATA and with that ugly movement I usually push another toggle. Only change the order will be great.
I expect anybody to change this behavior or let us to modify order and visible toggles.
Thanks,

Toggles position
Hi !
Got an SGS2, I9100 , I have installed a custom ROMs, based on stock Samsung Jelly Bean XWLS8 - MilitantRom v1.7(blu) and then installed AllianceMod for XWLS8 which enables some customization options that are not available in the stock ROM, like changing colors. The mod installed with no errors and works fine, but there is one issue I noticed. When headphones are connected, the toggles are moved down and audio panel appears, maybe somebody knows what can be done, so the toggles stay always on top, when connecting the headphones or playing music on stock player, in background. This behavior is not being observed in the standard stock ROM that I installed, I understand this could be a problem with the mod.I have attached a screenshot.
If this is not the right topic to ask about this issue, I apologize, I'm new to the forum and cannot post in the DEV forums yet, I wish I could post in the topic regarding the AllianceMOD.
Thank you.
I have done it on my own.
Here you have.
