Don't you have to download the lyrics first? They have to come from somewhere.
I don't know :s have you got an app what does it for me?

Android does not natively support the ID3v2 USLT necessary to display lyrics.
I added a new feature request that would give Android support for reading USLT in the ID3 tag. This will enable the native and 3rd party music players to display lyrics. If you want this feature, please star the request below and post your comments.

Don´t use the one that come with andoid use player pro and you can download lyrics easily

Hello,
Please help me to find the music player I'm looking for. My requirements:
- A clean playlist (no artists, no genres, no album arts, no ratings, no lyrics, JUST FILENAME)
- An equalizer
- To be controlled by the handsfree button (play/pause and next track by double-click. More clicks - highly appreciated)
The closest to this idea of mine, which I was able to find, is tiny player. I liked it a LOT, but it doesn't have any equalizer...
And I have tried so many other players and they are TERRIBLE, especially starting with winamp, which I like so much for
PC!!! The Android's version is absolutely not acceptable for me!

Hello and thanks for your answers. But all of them are connected to Cyanogenmod.
I would like to install it, I even checked their page. BUT I'm afraid that I could screw
up my phone and/or lose my warranty.
Please recommend a normal installable app.

Hello and thank you!
I gave it a try today and it doesn't work at all :-/ It didn't show me even a single folder !!!
I see the message select a folder or whatever on the top and everything below is black!!
I'm gonna send an e-mail to the developers to report this bug.
Trying to download this, I found another player - EZ folder player free. It works very
nicely with my headset button, but it doesn't show the playlist and doesn't have an
equalizer...
Actually it makes me VERY SAD and VERY DESPERATE - WHY all the music players
need to have a huge icon showing NOTHING in the center and wasting the whole screen ?!?!?!?!
WHY there can't be a program, showing the playlist, as Winamp on a PC and 3 buttons
for play/pause, next and previous song? IS IT SO COMPLICATED ?!?!? And an
equalizer, of course!! Come on, guys, this is Winamp from 1993 !!! And in 2012, this
doesn't exist anymore !!!
My device is Samsung Galaxy S2 with ICS (4.0.3).
OK, regarding Music Folder Player - I can not see folders only with the paid version of this app.
I have also tried to install the free version and it works. I have also installed Music Volume EQ:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=hr.podlanica&feature=search_result
This is a MUST have app!! It has an extremely nice bass boost function and now listening to
music is a really nice experience on my SGS2.
So, back to Music Folder Player - this is the player, which I will be using for now. It is by far
not perfect, but it seems to be quite working. Major disadvantages:
- it plays folders only at one level - if you have a folder that contains mp3 files and subfolders
with more mp3 files, it will play only the lower level folder. If you select some of the subfolders,
it will play only the subfolders, but never the parent folder. REALLY annoying, but not fatal
- It writes media information files to EVERY directory with music
- The equalizer does not change almost anything and it is practically useless. But this can be
solved via Music Volume EQ, so it is a really minor problem.
But it is a very customizable player and I like it a lot! Nevertheless, I am more and more
convinced, that the perfect mp3 player for Android does not exist yet
Although, there a some players in the style I like - Music folder player, EZ music folder
player, tiny player, etc... There must be also more of them. Please suggest some...
Come on, guys!! No other cool apps? I can't believe it...
I am using kamma's folder player. It supports rom's native equalizer app. UI can improve a little but pretty much suffices what I need.
Best Music Player
hi,
Try this one i am sure you would not search for anything else.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.omichsoft.player
It supports Playlists, folders, genres, artists, albums and songs list.
Supports device internal equalizer.
shows itself on the Lockscreen.
and all this for an installation size of around 350 kb.
difficult to justify some (most) paid music players against this one.

This thing was last updated in July 2014 so most probably not polished for Lollipop.
The old player actually has more features while this one has the looks.
i wish they had taken the trouble to just update the old version..

If this it's impossible, please, could You suggest an app that make what I want but with a good integration on default music player?

copy & paste to system/app & give right permissions (same as others) then reboot
it might work via normal install :silly:
Is the reverse possible? I just want to use my embedded lyrics in the music app and the new lsj stock music app does that and looks good too. Of course in a perfect world there would be an app that uses embeded lyrics and if it can't find it, would search online for lyrics..
It's there a way I can use stock music app in a cm10 based rom like revolution remix?

Sorry *Resurrection Remix but I mean the stock music app in neat rom or lsj rom.. I can use the lyrics that are embedded (in my instance, I embed the lyrics through itunes) and its seen where the album cover is..
So Is there a way I can use the stock music app in an AOKP rom? Or is there a 3rd offset music app that uses embedded lyrics and its viewable when you tap the album cover/ center of the screen? To be used in an AOKP or AOSP rom...
Thanks, your input is greatly appreciated.

..hi guys! I am looking for the best music app to install in my defy, maybe you can help
I tried many (poweramp, n7player, musixmatch, xenoamp, play music etc etc), but still I can't find the one that can do all the things I need!
I would prefer a free app of course, but I would even pay for it if I find the good for me..!!
the most important features the music app I look for should have are:
- possibility to hide/exclude folders from the music library
- sleep timer
- show lyrics (without installing extra apps or plugins)
..the best ones I found so far are in the order:
- rocket player (BUT can not show lyrics, unless they are embedded in the songs, and I don't have any songs with embedded lyrics)
- Media Monkey (BUT doesn't have sleep timer, and directories management is not so good, there are no "select all" and "select none" buttons for example)
- tunewiki (BUT can not hide/exclude directories at all)
Even poweramp that they say is the best app in the world didn't like me because of the lyrics (he needed a third app to show them)
any help for this reasearch? you would really make me happy as a baby!
thanks in advance bye!
Winamp is your best bet.
Lyrics is an "add-on".

thanks for the answer. I did try n7player and also liked it, but to show lyrics it still uses third apps (musixmatch) and I don't like that why use two apps (and double ram) when some apps (like media monkey) can do that alone? unfortunately media moneky has some other cons for me (no sleep timer that i really need!!)
cleanmusic
I use Clean Music, you can find it on the Playstore..
i like it bacause it has a clean UI, like holo, and it works well with cm equalizer...
size: ca. 400KBs ... very beautiful player
grazie Enrico.. i tried it but i can't find the sleep timer (even if in the description they speak about it) and no lyrics.. well i think i should give up about lyrics but at least customizable directories and sleep timer..!!
Hey do you want to compromise on sound or effects? Remember each player may come with own sound drivers or some may use existing. Dont loose quality in search of variety. Some are speaker loud some good in headphone and some good in documents specifications alone like watts.
Like each custom rom coming with own flavour

Hi everyone,
I found this app in GNex forum since I had a GNex earlier..This app has been modified to work for any region..I dont remember the name of that respected member who modified this app.Full credits goes to him. If he find this thread kindly PM me..I will mention him
About this App-
The Google Play Sound Search widget can help you recognize music and songs playing around you. You can:
-Identify songs, directly from your homescreen
-Purchase identified songs straight from Google Play, and add them to your Play Music library
-Keep a song identification history, synced across all of your Android devices, so you can purchase a song later
-Add the widget directly to your lockscreen, so you can recognize songs even faster (for devices running Android 4.2)
After you’ve installed the Google Play Sound Search widget, go to the widget picker and drag the Sound Search widget onto your homescreen.
