Just an idea...
Did you try setting the USB connection to "charge only"?
I always leave it on "charge only" if not needed to any other option and I did not notice any issues with the charging until now.

I meant while its charging from my wall outlet

Hey guys just did the ota update. Now on trip in car and when plugging into car charger, the battery does not show as charging (lightning bolt through battery symbol), but the% in my battery app is going up,.so it is charging.
Anyone else seeing this issue also?

Actually the battery is not even charging. it is not the charger either, as the other two androidphones are charging. Only the atrix doesn't charge. Any ideas anyone?

Offtopic but can you comment if you have battery jumping issues with OTA. And also if you have high "phone idle" usage issue in battery like the rest of us in leaked version?
When I restart phone it goes up 10%..

Let me get that straight? You installed offical OTA update from Motorolla and you have battery jumping issue, right? How on earth they do not know about this bug?

LOL.....they know, they just don't care enough. Besides, who ever restarts their phones on a regular basis? (besides us)
there is no difference between the leaked OTA and the Offical OTA, so yes there is a chacne the battery issue is still there. dont let your phone die complete has you may not be able to flash a different sbf. AND WHAT EVER YOU DO, DO NOT FLASH ANY OFFICAL 1.83 OR YOU WILL HARDBRICK
Does anyone have a "fix" or idea why car charger won't charge atrix, but will charge an sgs2 and arc?
Also the battery is discharging at an alarming rate. Is there a method to fixing it or am I at the mercy of the customer friendly and over productive people at Moto (sarcasm)...

Amazon market draining my battery

Is anyone else seeing Amazon market draining your razr's battery? It happened on my og razr and now on my maxx. Today so far it has used 15% of my battery using 38m 51s of CPU. Any ideas?

Do you have an app from there that's trying to authenticate? Can you freeze it with TiBu?

Is this while you're charging it via USB? I got this message when trying to charge it on my pc and I was doing too much stuff on the phone to allow it to charge.
Exactly what the message says: The Rezound can easily pull 500-800mA during sustained usage.
Download a battery monitor app from the market that tells your mA and charging method; I use Battery Monitor Widget.
My issue was my 1 amp AC charger was reading as USB plugged (which is only 500 mA rate). Diagnose that first.
Yes it was while charging and it then drained the battery within 10 minute's, oh and last night it died and wouldn't charge.

Screen on when plugged in.

I uncheck the box for keep screen on when plugged in...the next night it will be checked again and keeps the screen on all night. Any fix for this?

I have seen this as well. It only rechecks for me after turning the phone off or rebooting. Don't remember if it did this back on GB.

I'm not doing either. I an using the car cradle which keeps the screen on though. Maybe that is resetting it?

I'd like to figure out how to get it not to dim when plugged in and charging. My EVO would stay on full brightness while charging, the Sensation and Max still dim. It doesn't sleep fully, just dims to being unreadable in a bright room. I do have the development option to not sleep while charging checked.
I know its the opposite of your issue, but would like to hear any ideas.

Possibly, but I can't say for sure. I've never docked mine, but it would make sense to force the screen to stay on so it's ready to use.

Battery charging really slow

After 2 months I finally got s off via Windows 8 and usb 2. So I installed nusensesix Rom and I noticed the battery was charging really slowly, so I installed insert coin instead. Battery charged even slower. As you can see in the screenshot attached the battery is just a mess and for some reason never went above 50%. I calibrated the battery more than once for each install. This phones battery was already bad and know it's even worst. And I'm using the stock cable but not a stock adapter.
Use the stock adapter. Chances are the one your using isn't putting out as much power causing slower charging.

I don't have the stock adapter

Then find another adapter and see if it still does it.

Ok it worked I switched to a dynex charger I brought for my old gs3.

Glad to hear it's not the phone.
