Has anyone gotten Volume+ volume booster to work or are you using another app that does work?

I purchased Volume+ and it works as advertised on my Galaxy S II but on the Note is almost always force closes. usually I relaunch it and then there's a 50/50 chance it will work.
I downloaded it from their web..I got the beta working fine..

So you have been able to boost volume? I have the same version as beta on the website and its not boosted. However mine does not force close like the post above claims

It was very screwy on the stock rom so I had to remove it.

Well I've use it a lot and it boost..But Some times does not.. like 1%...

I'm not sure if we're talking about the same app, but I used "Volume Control+ Pro" and it has always worked flawlessly for me. The best volume control app IMO.

No that's not quite what we are talking about that just gives you a new interface for the volume. I'm talking about raising it abover the factory settings

Since the only thing I need louder volume on is my ring tones or notifications, I simple boost the volume with an editor to the point where it begins distorting, then back it off slightly. So far I have had no issue getting my ringtones and notifications loud enough. Nothing like hearing Perry The Platypus as the notification and everyone at work asks "WTF was that!?", yet my almost 3year old twins yell "PERRY!" from across the house.
If you listen to music alot or use it the speakerphone around alot of noice, I suppose this could be an issue, but I don't so I havnt felt the need to make it louder yet.

GOTO Lockscreen is an awesome new app. However, the slider is sized incorrectly for the atrix so it is off center. Has anyone been able to make it work correctly for the atrix? Thanks.
Yeah this is a really nice app I really like it but its not lookin right on my phone. I hope there's a fix for it

Yea - I sent a note about it to the GOTO team. You may consider doing the same to get this fixed.

It has not been fixed. I emailed them about the problem aswell.
Got it yesterday seems to be working finger for me when I unlock its a little off center minor inconvenience great app just wish it had a password feature or maybe I just don't know how to set it?

I bought it from the Amazon Appstore and liked the functionality. It has an odd bug of locking my screen as if the power button had been hit. Time to wait for an update.

Yes that's what it looked like for me when I downloaded it. Haven't tried again because its not free anymore. Once someone confirms its isn't off centered on the atrix, i'll buy.

I'm looking for some recommendations on the best music player I can use while controlling the music using the volume buttons on the S2. I am often driving while it is hooked up to the speakers so I dont like having to unlock the screen to play next song.

How do you change a song in amazon app without unlocking the phone? I tried pressing volume up twice, etc. Nothing worked
You need to go into settings to turn on the lock screen setting then you will be able to change the tracks

I love the UberMusic app, it has a WP7-esque design and really minimalistic. Great widgets, too! I'm using them on the lockscreen with WidgetLocker.

I hear this is semi-antiquated advice (I say semi because I'm not entirely sure that it doesn't help)
but have you tried to charge your battery all the way up and calibrate it?
Also...it seems that you have a voice mail. You should certainly check that, don't want to keep anyone hanging lol

Charge to 100% and while still plugged, open the app grant root and calibrate. Then you want to use your phone until its at around 5% battery and charge it all the way back up to 100% before using it and then you should be good. If not, then we can look into other alternatives ^^

Ummm, u need to be more precise. But, yes it is capable. U need jellybean or a rom that has google now in it. There's also Iris which is a beta siri clone. Google Now is really cool though. Impressed my friend this morning when I thought I had my phone off and must have pressed the voice search thing.
But it heard me ask my friend when does daylight savings start and it started talking from my pocket, so I pulled my phone out and it was still talking but had a card saying November 4, 2012.
Pretty cool, nice coincidence too, lol.

Have you tried Settings/Controls/Language and input? Should have the option there to set Samsung keyboard as default instead of Swype.
Awesome that fixed it didn't realized there was an option to switch thank you for your help! This phone is still very new to me coming from 6 generation of iPhone. But I'm loving it better already.

There is a bit of a learning curve coming from other OS. I had the same issues, but now I wouldn't use any other. So customizable and friendly. Love Android.
