Thought some of u guys might want to know this app is now working on ICS roms. I personally use it on showman94 rc-2 rom. Used to only work on cm7 because of bluetooth stack. What it does is turn ur phone into remote, keyboard, or mouse for ps3. Choose keyboard layout or sixaxis layout. Just used it for surfing ,web chatting and movie remote.

I was able to get the wiimote to work using a rooted cm7 rom and a offical wii remote. The only downfall was I has to disconnect my wifi to get the remote to stay connected. I am using the wiimotecontroller version 0.25 . I have tried the beta version also with no sucess. Would love to get this working with wifi connected. Please help

mine works fine. don't know what your doing wrong. but i've played long hours on mine with a wiimote using wiimote control out of the market.
If you have games, especially cool gameloft ones.
You know how hard and frustrating it is to play with the fingers on your screen.
The only phone that lets you enjoy the game fully is the Xperia Play.
Is there and app where you can connect the PS3 controller via USB or Bluetooth wireless (how it connects to PS3) to play games?
Not like WiiMote that remote is confusing ......
It would be awesome if it was really especially if your phone has TV out support.
Well is there an app like this?
You couldn't use a ps3 controller with phones, because PS3 contollers are linked with their PS3's or PC via Mac Address, so unless there is a full-size usb-to-mini usb (or whatever the phone usb port is called) and someone develops drivers for the phone, you can't use a PS3 controller at all.
On a tablet running 3.1+ could use it wirelessly and wired but only them.

Hi folks,
Seen youtube vids of people playing games with the ps3 pad. Now ive read up and it says u need aosp drivers unless ur on miui rom.
Does anybody have miui rom installed and using the sixaxis?
I use miui rom so wanted to know if its as simple as using the sixaxis app frim market and then pairing, or do i have to manually pair using the pc app too, even though im using miui?
Also which emulator apps are recommended with the sixaxis controller?

Such a hard thing to find out yourself, allow me to help.
Sixaxis Controller - Android Market
Due to the way pairing is done with the controllers, you need to manually pair your controller with the PC utility 'SixaxisPairTool' (available on the website) and a mini-USB cable.
If you're unsure if it will work on your MIUI ROM, use the Sixaxis Compatibility Checker.
Yeah i read that bit on the market page too, thanks.
Want to find out if anybody has done it and what happens after you disconnect from phone as
Nobody mentions anything about using the pad with the ps3 again after pairing with the phone either. Would the mac address for the controller need to changed again to work with ps3?

To use it with the PS3, you'd need to connect it to the PS3 using the cable to let it pair. Afterwards if you wanted to use it with your phone again, you'd have to use the utility on a computer. The controller is only paired with one bluetooth MAC address at a time.
Perfect. Cheers mate. Cant hit thanks button from the phone app otherwise i would have. Cheers

I've done some research, and I realize you are not able to connect a SGS2 with a Wii remote. The posts I've seen are old, so I was wondering if there is any roms out there that do work. Thanks
From what I understand it has to do with SAMSUNG's bluetooth hardware that is incompatible. But PS3 controllers do work. There's an app called sixaxis that connects with the PS3 controller.

Do you need to connect PS3 remote with a cable to extract drivers??? My phone or tab can't find it via bluetooth
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I777 using xda premium
There's a windows app that will set the bluetooth address to what the phone app is looking for. You need to hook the controller up to the computer to manually set the address and then it will connect via bluetooth to the phone.
Also when you go to use it on the PS3 again. Either have the original address written down or connect the controller to the PS3 using the usb cable to reset it back to the PS3 address.

Try https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ccpcreations.android.WiiUseAndroid it works on my GNex and it also won't discover the Wii remote using the regular Bluetooth method.

So then how do you discover the wiitomes?
...
Press the red button that is in where the battery goes...
Or pressing 1+2
Both work or may not work in different cases. Try both ways.
EDIT: Oh btw, depending on which ROM (If you got a stock based ROM like SHO or Unnamed it will not work)
MIUI for example will work.
I saw this and was just curious as to why you would want to do this?
To play gameboy, nes, n64 games.

When I was asking how to discover Wiimotes, I was referring to this post. Haha i know pressing 1 and 2 sync the wiimote
If you have ps3 controller at your disposal, I would recommend it over Wiimote. It's so much better when it comes to gaming experience
my 2c

Wiimote won't work due to Samsung's proprietary Bluetooth stack. A rom based on asop will normally work fine though (like miui) because it uses Google's stack. You can't swap them on the stock rom due to its tight integration though.

I have the Viper ROM installed and was wondering if it's possible to use the PS3 controller wirelessly on it?
I'm curious as well. Or if anyone has gotten a ps3 controller to work on any ROM for that matter.

I tried the Six Axis Compatibility tool and it seems it's not working. Is this a problem with the bluetooth version on the phone or a problem with the ViperROM? I see another program called Bluez IME that will let you use other bluetooth controllers. Will those work or will they have problems too?
It has to do with the Bluetooth stack HTC is using. I don't think anyone bas gotten it to worj yet.

Just tried the WiiMote controller app. It recognized the Wiimote, but then it says something like it couldn't access the host files. :'(
