hi my phone shuts down, dont know exactly when becouse i hear the sms geting in but some times i dont open then, only after some times i get out the phone of my poket and it is off but i ever pas when its loket, never when i am using it. What can be the problem? should i reinstall it or can be fixed other way?

Hi there, I don't have much experience on Android devices, but if I were you, I would re-install the rom and make sure I did everything ok; if the problem persist I would search online to see if it's some rom bug or something.
If that didn't happen with the stock rom, I would think it's got something to do with the custom rom.
I would get an iPhone.

I don´t have cyanogemod installed, but i have read something about problems with special apps. Sorry I don´t know which apps, but you can try install the rom new and install apps step by step and test between. Perhaps you can find the app, which make your phone go down. Have you got chomp SmS or such an app? Sounds like an SMS - App problem

so today i updated my vibrant to 2.2
my phone was rooted before and had oclf
and i read somewhere that i need to unlag fix and uninstall EXT2 Tools
however i did uninstall EXT2 but i could not do that for lag fix saying that i don't have lag fix and i can't even install it when i already did but anyway
i think that was because i rooted my phone before and did the lag fix and factory reseted it without removing lag fix
anyway this is where the question comes out
so i have got 2.2 froyo and when i open up it says that
my phone is unrooted but it is rooted my tethering works and stuff that i need rooted phone.
plus.. this is even more serious my flash player doesn;t work...
i thought it will work..
i tried to download app for flash 10.1 still doesn't work...
what should i do?
btw i did my update through kies mini
didn;t flash rom
oh and one more problem...
i just noticed that
i have battery reminder
and i just found out that when i turn my wifi it says 4h 43 86%
and when i don;t turn on wifi it says 18h 55 86%
isn't that way too much?

and one last thing what is good voice search and voice text
i saw someone with super good one that they say it really fast and picks up everything
when mine .... doesn't really pick up when i even talk slowly

hey... sorry to hear these problems from you. This guide me a lot as me also having rooted vibrant and i wanted to upgrade to 2.2 froyo. but now i have to find the solution of your prb. let you know and then get update. Pls. let me know if you find the solution for these probs.

1. If you successfully updated through mini kies, then it does not matter if you were rooted etc before - the update should have taken you back to a TMO/Samsung approved config.
2. Tethering (and some other stuff) is enabled in 2.2 without being rooted - download titanium backup from the market and try running that - it will fail if you're not rooted.
3. Flash 10.1 is installed with 2.2 - what exactly are you trying to do that makes you think it isn't working.
4. Wifi does suck juice in the new implementation (on my phone anyway), I only tried it once to verify it's working so can't help with any extra config options.
5. Can't help. sorry.
ok so my status bar randomly glitches and half of it goes to the bottom of the screen and stuff, now i dont know about you guys, but these is the most annoying glitch i have ever come across because the touch screen goes off and i cant press the right buttons. it happens with every rom, ive changed around settings alot of em, and i just cant figure out what the problem is anyone out there that knows? pleaseeee help me ill give you chocolate

OK so ummm its a x10 mini pro u20i
with cm7 2.2.0 but this glitch happens with all roms except ICS
it happens when i have locked my phone about 20 times, and when i restart my phone it goes back to normal, and if i repeatedly lock my phone, the more the screen screws up
ive tried all that still nothing kernel is Naa kernel the latest on number 11 is it? and tbh i cant remember if it happened with my old kernel, ummm ive tried changing themes but i only use the cm7 themes, GO LAUNCHER is what im using, it happens with al different launchers, it doesnt happen when i newly update my rom, it happens after a day or two, i dont know which program it is that screws it up, and tbh i dont have much time to actually be testing cause i need all my apps atm, i cant believe im the only one having this problem well i think im the only one
your not the only one pal, my misses had the same issue for quite a while. where the status / notifications bar would just hover somewhere around half the screen and you would have to pull it up a thousand times for it to f**k off.
she was only on stock rooted. and tbh i fixed it by flashing minicm7 yesterday.... not what you wanted to hear though eh?
i tried to see if i could find a screen calibrator app to try reset the screen but my quick search turned up nothing as she was still on 2.1 or 2.2.1??
if i was you i would try find a calibrator app and see if you have any luck with it.

hey, first android device and first post. so i followed the rom instrutions on this thread ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1468998 ), and used odin to install on my korean S2 hd lte (that already had the new ics 4.0.3 firmware from kies) TeamLeader 1.3.7 to get around the "invalid sender" problem.
problem is, now, everything, and i mean EVERYTHING comes up as an error.
force close seems to be the norm on any app... occasionally, when messages stays on for longer than 20 seconds, i can just barely send a text message - and the invalid sender thing doesnt pop up anymore. but in a few seconds, surely enough (on pretty much any app) something, usually some obscure program, force closes.
so n00b post here, asking, what the hell did i do wrong?
i didnt do the whole fb05 thing on that link, cus i thought it was only if you wanted to back your thing up... but hell, i didnt (and still dont) even know what tegrak is supposed to do... not to flaunt ignorance, but this whole process is just way too confusing for me, and i'm desperately in need of help.
should i re-install ics? or should i get the stock firmware from gingerbread, do that fb05 and tegrak thing, then do the TL1.3?
if anyone is around in vancouver, bc, i'll be happy to pay to get this fix; otherwise, please comment! anything at all will be appreciated. thank you!
I installed TL 1.3 and when phone turned on its at the 'touch the android to begin' but google framework keeps FC and i cant do anything. Tried reflashing but still same problem. Also the Recovery Menu is not working, phone boots normally on volume up + home + power. Please help

I have a strange problem with my Galaxy ace s5830i mobile...
it was on same rom that were from start, and then i decieded to switch to another one.
First option was Miui, and after that switched to cm7 totoro rc c4 (full name of it , writing it cos i am not sure how to explain it on the other way )
but problem is, after every restart, my mobile loose everything that is done on it, and do something like factory reset...
for example, it will bring back original theme, forgot wifi password, and everything else...
also, cannot install gapps ( actually, i can, but after restart they gone)
anyone have solution for this one problem?
Wipe data once from recovery
Had some sort of same problem, that fixed it.

Why did you flash cm7 totoro? Galaxy ace i is not totoro. It is cooperve.

I kinda faced the same problem twice, check if you have internal memory, if it says 0.0bytes, then I know how to fix it

at start I have to apologize for my worse english; haven`t written and spoken it for years.
I have an Z2 and rooted it a few weeks ago; after that I installed Cyanogenmod Recovery.
I`ve tried a few Custom Roms but the problem is always the same: It crashes after some time, when I am trying to start an App.
Mostly Ingress and Google Maps. Often they work fine, like 4-6 times, they start without any issues.
But one time it crashes.
It restarts instantly and often tells me I dont have a simcard or it disables the Bluetooth-Connection.
The only possibility is to restart it and after that it works fine... for a few hours till I try to restart an app.
Sometimes it hangs itself up in a boot loop and i have to use Power + Vol Down to get into Cyanogenmod Recovery, but after that the restart takes up to 15 minutes because he calibrates all the apps.
It seems that the problem doesn`t happen when I am using Wlan.
Everything else works fine, no problems, but it is really annoying.
Any ideas?

1. cyanogenmod recovery is sh*tty
2. install a pre-rooted stock rom or a modified one like eXistenZ Premium, MoonWalker epidemic or PureX
never had such issues with these roms
Yeah, i know its ****ty, but i cant enter the bootloader anymore; it always starts the recovery. So i cant remove it.
The other problem is, that i tried 4 different roms and the problem seems to appear in every rom.
So it seems to depend on something else.
I'm having the same exact issue except that I don't get into bootloops

The bootloops seems to appear only under Ressurection Remix; i've installed CM again and they didnt happen anymore.
But the problem, that it crashes and after a restart often didnt find my SIM, is still there...
I don't know about RR rom as I haven't tried it but I'm getting the reboots on CM
