Check if there is enough space to install it.
If you are trying to install from play store and it says its not compatible with your device then you may not be able to play it.
Either wait for EA to make it compatible with ICS or downgrade to Gingerbread!

thanx mann the triangle is gone but.
the prob still exists.
other game like samurai vs zombies(134mb apk) downloaded and installed but sims isnt(and its just 12 mb).

How would removing the yellow triangle help?
Get an apk from some site and try installing it!
This game is free anyway so there is no harm!

Amazon Appstore!

The Amazon Appstore works great on Cm7 just downloaded angry birds rio. Which is free for today!
It detects both my nook and my g2 just fine. and prices tend to be a little cheaper through amazon for apps.
if interested head over to amazon.com/appstore and get Rio it runs and looks great with no ads!
came to post this.
downloaded Rio with no problems. 1.0.1 auto-nootered, with the 1.1 pre-root
Running 1.1, auto-nooter 3.0...
I had to sideload this .apk to get it to install. Wouldn't install from the link.
But now it works, free Angry Birds!

Downloading from the link works. You need to move the .apk to your /system/app directory before you try to install it.
I also installed the Amazon App store and Angry Birds Rio. I'm also considering buying the original Angry Birds and Angry Birds Seasons to get rid of the ads! I hate in-app ads!!

Answering my own question:
1 - I went to http://amzn.to/getamazonappstore on desktop and download
Amazon_Appstore-release.apk
2- I moved the apk using dropbox from desktop to Nook and put it on root of SD card
3 - I installed with Apps Installer
4 - Sign in with your Amazon email and password
5 - Voila! enjoy
Get one app free daily! For today (3/22): Angry Birds Rio
Reported to work with CyanogenMod 7 as well...
maybe i'm missing something, but why would you want this on your NC? What does it offer that the market doesn't?
angry birds rio on honeycomb emmc
its crashing on me for honeycomb, already moved from sd to phone.
My nook is Autonooter 3.0 rooted.
I downloaded the Amazon apk file, put it on a sd card in the root, it copied. I inserted the card in my NC, opened Apps Installer and got this error:
Install blocked
Installation of downloads apks is not supported.
Any suggestions?

Mainly Competition, Lower prices and angry birds rio for free atm
Also sometimes the market says our nook isn't compatible with certain apps, while other markets like the amazon store will let us download the app just fine

Well, Angry Birds Rio for one. I tried in vain to look for Angry Birds Rio in the regular Android Market and have been unable to find it.

Go into your "NookColor Tools" in your app drawer. Uncheck/re-check "allow non-market apps". Then move the .apk to /system/app and try the install again.

Anyone know the reason why some of my apps wont install and give me this error but others work fine?
Maybe some apps aren't written to run from sdcard

Does Google Talk work for you? If it doesn't then you need to clear the caches on all google apps (including the market ones).
I had this problem before and I noticed that Talk didn't work as well as the downloading errors from the market.
this is till 4.0.3 everyone have this issue...
apps which installed on sd cant be updated...
after the first restart you cant update some apps or install them new.

If youbrooted, install lucky patcher, it will remove unused odex automatically. You can install again your app after that.

Doh!
OK, figured out what it was.
I had been messing about , trying to get my S3 to install apps on the micro-SD card (known error, see: http://www.chainfire.eu/articles/113/Is_Google_blocking_apps_writing_to_SD_cards_/ ).
I had used these [1] instructions to set-install-location to "2". Alas, that did not make it possible to store apps on the micro-SD card :crying:, however, I forgot to change it back to "0" :silly:
I've changed it back to "pm set-install-location 0" and the BBC Olympics app now installs :good:

Ah, thanks for the tip,- not quite what I had but it put me on the track. I have ROM Toolbox Pro and had tried making the default App install location on the Ext SD - unclicked and now updates work.

The problem is in your TF201 dalvik-cache! You will need lucky pacther,ROOT,superuser or supersu for fix thing! When you install lucky pacther only what you need is open it and assces to root on superuser >>> than lucky pacther will delete unused dalvik-cache! (FIRST YOU NEED TO DELETE GAMES WITH YOU HAVE PROBLEM >>> THAN LUCKY PACTHER OR YOU CAN IN LUCKY PACTHER DELETE dalvik-cache MANUAL)

I had this problem as well, what you need to do is to install Lucky Patcher. Run Lucky Patcher and let it do its thing, it'll clear unwanted .odex files from your system and it just works thereafter
Hey! I see from your sig that you're on hb1.3, may I ask if anrs or whatnot still persist? Are stutters still present when browsing really quickly and whether switching apps from the recent apps menu results stutter?

I haven't had a single issue with HB1.3 as of yet. I also ran Pimp my Rom though to eliminate any issues that were in 1.2... so IDK if it naturally has it or if the PMR helped it out more than I thought.
okay so I installed lucky patched but Wild Blood is still showing up with the following error message
"You do not have enough available space on your memory card to install the game. You need to delete 0MB from your applications (Video,Games)"

First try reinstalling is its from the play store
This happens because the files were not downloaded or extracted properly, are you running a cracked version of this?
Whatever the case is, you could try extract 'main.107.com.gameloft.android.ANMP.GloftWBHM.obb' file by changing the extension to .zip and move all the extracted files to 'sdcard/Android/data/com.gameloft.android.ANMP.GloftWBHM/files
So how's hb1.3 does it stutter in overall performance or switching apps from the recent apps menu?
One thing that worked for me is moving the downloaded files from /Internal Storage/Android/data to SD Card/Android/data. Since there is a limit on Google Play about the size of uploaded apps, uploaders are instead allowed to attach .obb files where much of the data is. These OBB files are supposed to be downloading to external storage, not internal, so you might want to check if they were to downloaded internal storage rather than external.

Hey guys,
I'm having this issue with my Xperia Z1, locked unrooted stock.
I used to have the issue with the odd app update on my XL.
Removing the odex file in the app dir was the fix.
In this case, I can't find the games app dir. It's just not there.
Nothing to delete, nothing to move.
I'm not rooted yet so I cant run lucky patcher.
Thus far, apk is installed, checks files on run, gives memory error message as above.
Anyone have any ideas?

Well if you can't find any solutions I suppose it would be a good time to go rooted :fingers-crossed:

App not installed -After getting OTA update

Friends and developers please help me, i am begging you to solve this problem that
I recently bought new moto E, it was awesome and has 3Gb internal for all storages (Including Music, videos and app too), so i used this mobile to store most of mine apps and by without any external memory card(I don't have money to buy external mmc too),,
okay
now come to the point,
yesterday i received an OTA software update for mine moto e, so i got much happy about this and so i updated it but after updating it looks so cool than before as usual but when tried to install apps, it's not get installs, it shows an error that 'APP NOT INSTALLED'….
i got this error for every apps, eventhough my internal memory is having 500mb of free space, but why it happens, what to do to solve this problem,
somebody please help me to solve this,
Thanks in advance
from where are you installing apps??
from playstore or from previous apk??
Sometimes it may happen when install without playstore so try to install from it... And also this happens when app is not compatible and already a new version exist in your phone....
Restart your phone then install from playstore you should be fine.... There is no relation between update of phone and apps are not installing....
