This isn't issue with the Droid X2, it is an issue with Google Play and it happens when I use Google Play on my computer as well.
Google Play falsely claims that I purchased a particular app, Ezpdf Reader. And now there is no way for me to install this app on any device because it keeps giving an error since I didn't actually buy it, well duh!!! Wah
I couldn't find an official form to complain directly to Google, so I posted it here to ask you guys, my favorite Droid X2 community

I would start by emailing the Developer of the app and if that doesn't work there has to be some kind of support for Google Play....
Here is a link that could help you out a little bit...

Is there any possibility that we will have a 100% aosp rom for the photon even if it takes a while? And is the photon supported by the amazon app store? What is new about the ota I received today I didn't install it because I read people were having problems with it. What are some cool games I could play that take advantage of the tegra 2 chip

We'll get pure aosp eventually. Yes Amazon appstore its compatible. And most OTA errors are either user or hardware related.

1) AOSP should happen sooner or later. From what I hear CM7 is pretty close for the Atrix.
2) Not sure I understand the question about the Amazon app store. It works just like the regular market on the Photon.
3) The new OTA fixes the mute call problem and various other minor bug fixes.
4) Go get the Nvidia Tegra Zone app from the market. Has list of Tegra optimized games.
Ok good on everything you said I'm just not sure about taking the ota will it block me from being able to root
Edit....
When I try and login on the amazon app store it won't let me keeps giving me and error

Might have to uninstall and re-install the app. No reason why it should not be working. I have the update and everything works same as it did.
The OTA will remove root but you can root again afterwards.
Hello, I would like to know if anyone else has experienced this issue. Ever since I got my tablet, I can't purchase any apps on the Market. I have tried going to Google Play with my PC and it states that the apps are either not compatible or can't be installed at this time. I also tried contacting Google through Google Play but I haven't gotten any response. Thanks in advance!

i think this is a widespread problem affecting millions of users. it affects the people that are living in a unsupported countries for buying Google Play contents. i have tried so many things: i spoofed my carrier, i use US proxy, i use modded play store, i tried to buy from SlideME, and Appbrain.. i think the best thing we can do right now is either wait for Google to sort this problem out.. or if you can't wait, just google for the apk you want (if you know what i mean)
why are you trying to buy spashtop when the tablet comes with it for free?
What Country are you in?

Splashtop HD comes with the Prime.
He's buying Splashtop THD. Which is specially made for gaming and Tegra 3 devices (like our Primes).
I wonder if he tried something like Market Enabler...?

I downloaded monopoly from google market and it started installing. It gave a message telling me to go to eamoble.com for help. I could'nt find any help from there. Anybody have any luck.
Plays fine for me, got it from amazon app market though when they had it for free.
Monopoly installs for me from the Amazon Appstore. I have two Touchpads running the 7/7/12 Official Nightly. I've also noticed sometimes Amazon and Google don't always get updates at the same time for some apps. Current version of Monopoly from Amazon is 0.0.42. What version downloads from Google Play?
FWIW, my wife plays this game alot and loves it.

On my wife's touchpad, it was purchased from the play store and doesn't work (can't download additional resources. I purchased it from Amazon and have zero issues. It's not just the versions that are different...the Amazon download is a much larger package.

The Play Store lists GTA: Vice City as not compatible with my LG-E970. Yet, GTA: III is compatible, and Vice City is even it is compatible with my Acer A500 with a measly Tegra 2. I can't for the life of me understand why this game wouldn't be compatible with the OG.
Anyone have any insight into this?
Not sure either. My tegra2 will play Sims 3 but my LGOG won't /:
I think it's the company that releases the apps. They probably block certain devices. Not sure why though

The most confusing thing about this is that it's compatible with the Nexus 4 ! It's literally the exact same hardware, creating a port seems like an extremely easy task for Rockstar to do. Perhaps LG has to communicate with the publishers, regardless it's very disappointing to know that my superior phone can't run the same games my friends can for no valid reason.
Anyone think a build.prop edit would change that problem?
This is the email I got from rockstar last week
Hello Xorrito,
We apologize for the long response time on your support ticket.
Unfortunately your device is currently not officially supported. A list of officially supported devices can be found at
Due to the number of devices currently on the market, it is difficult to verify the compatibility of all devices. We are currently in the process of testing new devices, and will make GTA available for download to these devices when testing is confirmed as working properly.
We recommend staying tuned to this article and official Rockstar Games press releases such as rockstargames.com/newswire for the definitive updated list of supported devices. This way you will be alerted if your device does become officially supported in the future.
We apologize for this inconvenience and if you have any further questions, comments or concerns feel free to contact us and we will be happy to help in any way we possibly can.
Cheers,
Brad

at&t optimus g phone not supported aka AT&T LGE LG-E970
How come this phone is not supported while the nexus 4 is?
They have the same hardware.....:{
Xorro78, thanks for sharing that email. It's kind of weird Rockstar wouldn't test the comparability with our flagship phone. Hopefully soon.
MrZim4, if you try a build.prop edit please let us know the outcome. I'm guessing it'll work as long as it tricks the Play Store into thinking the OG is an N4.

Have you tried changing build.prop to a different or similar LG or another android phone/tablet that is compatible with this game that also has similar hardware I would almost bet the dual core snap dragon android phones will work just edit the device name in build.prop unfortunately they don't update the device compatibility fast enough per app/game but this mod should work, it has in the past say for example to play certain games on the HTC one x I had to change device name to replicate another android I think the HTC one s and compatibility issue went away in market. I'm actually looking to do this for gameloft live which lol is not compatible with this device but will work.

If you really want to get GTA VC working you'll have to download the apk and sd data from a 3rd party site. I've tested this and it works fine. Only do this if you have previously purchased GTA VC on the Google market.

Yes! GTA 3 works in LGOG whit build.prop edited to nexus 4.

Purchase and install it on your A500 then pull the apk from /data/app and the obb folder from internalstorage/Android/obb and copy them to your phone in the corresponding folders. I think the asec file might be needed, too.

Hey guys!
So I love my Nexus 10... but I don't know what to do with it!
I watch videos and read pdfs on it, but these two don't really take up much time.
I wanna use my Nexus for more things but I don't know what!
What do you guys do on your Nexus 10?
First world problems... why did you buy your Nexus 10 anyway?
Start shifting your PC tasks over to it. Web browsing for one. This forum, for that matter. A Bluetooth keyboard and mouse and you'll be surprised at how much productivity you can get out of it.

I use it for almost anything, as I got rid of my laptop so all I have now is my N10 and my cellphones. Movies, music, shopping, messaging, reading up on stuff, and prett heavy on emails and evernote my work needs, skyping. So yeah pretty much everthing I would do on my laptop.

You can text from it. I've seen several people recommend tablet talk. You have to buy it, and I've never tried it before, but the principle is to text from your tablet. I might try it when mine gets in today

Google Voice is free, and allows you to text mobile numbers.
I duct taped my Nexus 10 to a Swiffer today and mopped the floor with it.. It also makes a great spatula for getting fresh baked chocolate chip cookies off the baking pan

But then you have to change your number to a GV number, and doing that would be problematic for me. Am I right in thinking this?
Sent from my EVO using xda app-developers app
Change what number? Your tablet isn't a phone. It links to your GMail account, and you can create a new phone number that can ring your devices on making a new account. If you mean texting people with your actual phone number then yea that might be an issue, as it shows on their phone as your GV number.
Wouldn't it use a new phone number for the texts?

I literally lol'ed when I found out that my N10 couldn't run Xbox SmartGlass and a couple of other things (yes I know I can sideload the apk). That's just silly that out of the box, my phone can do **** that my tablet can't, despite it being a larger screen, newer OS, and Google supported. Goofy.

Microsoft is weird with their apps man. I hosted the Smartglass Apk for Nexus 7 users twice on mediafire and both links were killed off by request within an hour.. MS went around pulling walled garden shananagins.
