I have no problems with either 36P or 37P on CM7 displaying 100% battery. Obviously my battery shows 97% here because it has been off charge this morning. I am also undervolted per the pic I posted in the other thread. Seems I am doing everything you say not to do, yet have no problems with my battery.
CM7.2 RC1
Faux 1.0GHz 024 kernel
37P radio
No issues!

Link to 30P?
I had more battett percetage issues with 30p than 36 p or 37 p i am on 37 p now and it charges to 100% everytime woth 4200mv i also fail to see how the radio causes the issue wjen it is the same for the most part on diffrent rom and for instance stock rom didnt have the ossue on my phone not to be rude man but i also am doing mant of the thimgs u say not to and have charged my phone at least 20 times now with out a issue in some time

well i am on
N_01.100.00R_europe_retail_09oct2011 (radio)
RC1 (cm7.2)
stock kernel
and if i do the battery pull trick i am able to get 100% but after some charge cycles it goes down to 95%-92% (and not to mention phone reporting charged at 95%.
so i seriously doubt the radio is the problem.
I am doing some digging of my own and i think kernel is to blame (cos all cm7 and cm9 (bass kernels) and some modified GB kernels are developed by faux123 and no doubt kernels are awesome but with battery percentage bug.
so go try a fully stock rom with different radio ull get full percentage (data problem may occur)
and then flash faux123 kernel and wait two three days and problem will come.
its not that big of a problem (cos for me with heavy usage my battery last 1% dies in like 3-4 hours) so its all good for me.

Hi
Anyone care to share their profile and voltage setup they have for setcpu on samsung s2, if running it of course?
I am trying voltage settings but s2 keeps freezing with cognition 1.3.1 so keen to know what others have set.
Thanks
Its cpu/phone specific, so what works for me may not work for you. Experiment by knocking values down by their minimum value and your phone is still stable.
That being said for the past 2 weeks I've been running the following under volt on both ninphetamine and cf-root kernels with no data loss /instability
200/800mV 500/850mV 800/950mV 1000/1050mV 1200/1150mV
Good luck
Good to see this thread. I wanted to share my setup but didn't wanted to make a thread so I will do it here. I'm not going to write alot of crap, only some pictures so you can check it yourself. Only thing I want to share is that I froze some stock apps I don't use and running processes like whatsap, bln, widgetlocker, setcpu and some other widget services. And I have no lag or whatsoever because of the underclocked cpu...

what voltages do you use for 1400 and 1600? The stock ones are good, but as soon as i pull them down, it hangs randomly.
Voltage Setup depends on kernel as you all know, and CF kernel doesn't allow it, least in KF3 it isn't there.
And there is a dedicated SetCPU thread already made before,

Regards.
So, some weeks ago I switched from MIUI to the Stock-ROM. Since that I have some Problems with my Battery...now I'm using CM9
On the Screen you see my Problem, on booth Times the capacity drops I reboot my phone...

Try changing kernels.
Okay, I will try the LP6 Kernel in the latest CM9 Build.
/edit: Okay, it's the LPB Kernel?

Ya, the LPB kernel has some issues from what I heard including: battery, touch screen and some other minor issues, i'd recommend everyone to stick with LP6 kernel for now
The kernel is the heart of you phones firmware.Thats why when you flash the wrong one you brick your phone.By changing it you can fix things that you thought had nothing to do with it.People think thats it only a kernel, just another part of the firmware but its probably the most valuable when it comes to how your phone functions.
I have sam e problem so it's most likely bug. But I guess you can live without rebooting too much

i had that kind of behaviour even on stock rom and kernel. still happens from time to time, never figured out why. not as drastic though (most of the time)
you can try this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1312273&page=16
it worked for e when i had a similar problem

This can still happen on a stock ROM if the stock kernel is corrupt. It can be fixed by reflashing the kernel or firmware.
Glad to hear that I'm not the only one with that Problem.
Now I have the LP6 Kernel. It's better...
@shumo: I'll check your link If I will be online with my PC.
@makrilli: Yeah, but sometimes the CM9 ROM is crashing or freezing, so I have to reboot...

Right, ive noticed a few prople have had similar problems but nothing that is the same as what im am experiencing.
basically, about 6 weeks ago i flashed the Alien v4 rom (wanted to retain webtop else i would have chosen cm7). this has worked flawlessy till now. Ive suddenly started having issues with wifi and data connectivity.
When connected to wifi i get internet access for aropund 2>10 minutes. then i lose it, although my phone still says im connected to the network. When i turn off the wifi, i check the wireless setting and it says that mobile networks are not connnected. when this happens, the data icon in the task bar is grey not green, ive noticed i only get a connection when its green.
System version:
4.5.91.MB860.ATT.en.US
Baseband:
N_01.100.00R
Webtop:
WT-1.2.2-110
Kernel:
[email protected]#3
I had the same problem before, a few months ago. Think it was just an issue with the ROM I was using. Have you tried a different ROM?
Not yet, will be when i get home. I was under the assumption however that alien was the best (webtop rom) in terms of speed and stability
Just backup your ROM in recovery - try out as many ROMs as you'd like to try. You might find one that both resolves your problem and suits you better, and as long as you have that backup you can just jump straight back in where you left off with your current ROM.
I have a backup anyway. Always make one once I know a rpm works after flashing. Been flashing for too long with many a handset to not keep backups. Ive learned the hardway with this haha

i Have tried battery calibration but it does not work
please tell me some other ways to solve it
whenever i turn off the screen and put it in sleeping/standby mode (meaning when the screen is of and im not using it) ,
the battery decreases all of a sudden (displayed in the picture at point 1.)
so when i reboot it, the battery recharges it self, the battery percent increases about 20% after a reboot ( displayed in the picture at point 2.)
please help
this happens when i flash cyanogenmod roms , this happened on cm.10.1.3 and cm.10.2 :crying:
but whenever i go back to stock xperia rom, it is solved by it self.

i searched it online and the best solution was to wipe it through recovery
but when i tried doing this, there is no such option
many recoveries dont have this option anymore, only wipe dalvik cache is present there
therefore my recovery does not have the option to wipe battery states
Don't quote me. But I think the app ROM toolbox has that option
Chris B.
It's just a bug with these ROMS, I guess...

and ill tell if it worked or not

one question, should i wipe battery states after it charges 100% or before that ???
I recommend turning off the device while charging it. When it is full, boot up. Let the battery charge fully again while its plugged in. It should only be a cpl percent to charge fully. Then wipe batt stats. That's what I do anyways.

Hi xda experts all.
I have a Sammy Galaxy S3 international i9300. I have a class 10 32 GB ext SD card.
Issue happening with all ROMs I run currently.
I run cm11 and AOSP based ROMs (Omni nightlies, temasek v26 (currently)) and tried various kernels that are known to be compatible (yank, boeffla, devil, temasek).
I have two issues. I have no idea if they are related (I actually doubt it though), but it's worth mentioning both here.
First issue is that no recovery can see zips on internal storage. Anytime I want to flash anything I have to select it from external SD card, so before rebooting into recovery I have to move the file there from the default download folder.
I have flashed latest CWM, TWRP and Devil recoveries. They all have this issue.
The second issue is that my system heats like crazy and can sometimes chew my battery up in 3 hours, even when phone is in my pocket. It's not unusual to see CPU temperatures of 60-70 deg Celsius. I also note that all cores will stay maxed out continuously. This is regardless of governor (excl powersave), even if I kill all dormant apps in memory.
What I've tried (with both ROMs and all named kernel combinations).
I have done full wipe and reinstalls ad nauseum.
I use TB Pro to restore apps. The only system items I restore are launcher and Google search (to restore home screen app and folder layout).
Edit: It is so bad that it will discharge faster than it can charge via USB and phone actually died from lack of power whilst plugged I'm to my laptop's USB connection while I was composing this.
Any suggestions?
