I am planing to unlock the bootloader, Root the phone and put a custum kernel on it, so i can try every way to remove the simlock .

Currently, the only known way is via paying for it.
WotanServer offers it.
Ok, its just about 15€, thats ok, unlocking at the provider costs 99€

hello,
Sorry for my bad English but im from Bavaria
I had a question... I have bought a Sony ericsson Xperia from Austria and now it has a Sim-Lock! Where can i Unlock the Phone? Please give me a instruction how i can do that
Thanks
Wurmii
Do you plan on unlocking the bootloader? If so, you will probably either need to get it unlocked by your provider or through a place that has access to a tool like setool.
If you don't then there are a few other options around to unlock it via the USB cable. I myself used Davinci Team.
At the moment there are no free sim unlocks around.
You can unlock it simply using the unlock code..........To get the Unlock code,You can reach here Mobile-unlocker.com get the code and Unlock it...you need to specify the network it locked now.....
Need help in getting my SE Mini Pro which I bought from O2 UK on PAYG. O2 will provide unlock codes only after a year for PAYG phones. Please let me know if you know a reliable site or if there is an easy way to SIM unlock this phone.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks.
Don't mind paying. Any reliable sites to get this unlocked?

My first post on XDA!
Team XDA,
I have a rooted Xperia Mini Pro (SK17i) locked to T-Mobile UK. Can I unlock this so that I can pop in a SIM card from any other operator?
I tried unlockcodes.something website. They charged me 10 pounds for the unlock and then refunded the amount saying they don't yet support the device! :/
Any help or redirection to an existing thread would be most helpful.
Many thanks and have a merry Christmas and a fantastic new year!

I have a similar problem, just an o2 phone. Would loading the world rom, as shown in this post
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1341460
Work? And if so, how can you load the rom onto the phone?
I had that problem too yesterday when I saw I needed to unlock my device to flash it. The best option is to go to a real store, bring the phone with you and pay 30 euros for unlock it (it's what I've paid). It's the best option, I'm sure they won't steal you your phone and they'll do it!
Hi,
I`m newbie with androids, i got an SE xperia x10 mini and i want to unlock it, that i can use any carrier. About my phone: Rooted, Androd Version 2.1-1. I`m really want to unlock it and join to android fans
Thanks for help,
Tutis
If you want it for free, then it's not possible! You have to pay for sim unlock your x10!
You can google it and you'll find some websites, where they offer it!
Or you can ask your provider for an EMMA/IMEI code, they're usually free after the initial contract-period, and it is the safest and most reliable way to free your phone
