I bought MC3 before i bought mediapad.. It annoys me that turns out that game is not compatible in our device...
The game is awesome.. It'll be great to play it on our 7" mediapad...
Is there a way to make this device plays it?? Maybe a little change in build.prop or something??

You could try it by apk downloader directly on your PC, then put the apk on your mediapad an install the game.

Hi just bought a razr couple days ago and tried to install some HD games from gameloft and get a messege that my device is not supported
I have seen some youtube videos with gameloft games on razr so i wonder why my razr is not working on same games?

If so, try to enable external APK installation and try to install the game's APK off of the Market. For example, download it on another device and copy/install it on your RAZR, or download it on your PC and copy/install on RAZR.
I hate the new Android Market. For example, apps that can work on my ATRIX / SGS2 are shown as not downloadable (device not supported), but manually installing them works flawlessly 99% of the times.

The messege is not shown on market it shows after i install the game and start it first time. Then the messege pops up "your device is not supported" I also tried to download the games to computer than to dropbox and have tried to install it on the phone that way but it ends the same way..
So you have to use an updated version of the game...
There is a game called riptide, its brand spanking new...try that plz and let us know. Its one of the reasons I will buy this..(or not)

Riptide is working well. PES2011 and Samurai II also work. Shadowgun & most of the Gameloft games are not working.

Maybe its been updated, but Shadowgun is working just fine for me on my Razr

Need for speed hot pursuit (the new one)

Block breaker
And all work perfectly

Yes, shadowgun was updated & now can run on Razr. PES2012 is nice & got option to play online.

I have noticed that since the OMAP4 is just the latest in the PowerVR line, many games designed for older PowerVR chipsets work on the RAZR! Backstab HD for the Galaxy S for example works pretty well. Very smooth.

I think that *maybe* there might be a fix, because on other devices when u have issues like this from the market, you need to change your LCD density back to what is normal for your device, however IDK what the density is by default on this device, but try changing it to something else and see what happens?
For instance everytime i want to update 3 ceartain apps i have to chance my LCD density back to normal on my MT4GS and had to on all my other devices, as well as people are reporting this works on the SG2 forums i believe

Eeer I havent done a root yet. So I just wanted to know how likley is it for rooting to break my device and is there a way to unroot?
Srry for the late reply; using superoneclick, there is an option to unroot, I haven't tried it, but its there. As far as bricking, I don't think anyone in the history of superoneclick has bricked there phone by rooting, but you never know.

Um, what exactly do you mean?
If you want to install a Gameloft HD game, simply do what is descibed in the thread I linked above, then download from gameloft's website.

I downloaded a prop editor off the Android Market. You need root for it to work.

I can't dl the game from the store because it says it's not compatible with my device, but I dl'd it to my 3VO. What is the best way to transfer ALL of the game data to my TP? I have Titanium Backup Pro on both my devices. I made a backup of the game on the 3VO, but the only file I found for it in the TBP folder was not nearly big enough for everything needed (what is the file from the store, 980+ mb?) Plus, I can't download the game again because we have sucky satellite internet out here in the sticks and it's super slow and capped. Also, provided I can get the game on my TP, what exactly did you do to make it work? Install the game and then reflash the ROM?
Any help is much appreciated!

I just wanted to start a topic on tegra 3 and other games that work on the galaxy S4. Last night I did a little testing with a few Tegra games on the S4 that are not in the play store on the device that worked.
(Update) To find almost all games in Play Store follow thes 8 steps Carefully.
(I AM NOT RESPONSABLE IF YOU MAKE A MISTAKE OR MESS YOUR PHONE UP. TAKE YOUR TIME)
1. Download this file. (Its used for another fix but helps us also

2. Move zip file to internal SD Card
3. Reboot into revovery and flash Multi DPI Play store.zip with CWM or whatever flashing tool you use besides the stock then reboot.
4. Download ES File Explorer.
5. Hit menu and then "Root Explorer"
6. Hit "Mount R/W" (I just mount all 4 and press ok)
7. Now go back to main screen and tap the top bar and pick "Device" (so yoyur not searching the Sd the actual "Device" partition for system files.)
8. Look at the folders displayed below and tap the one that says "System"
9. Tap/Open the "build.prop" file with a text editor of your choice.
10. Change the line that says:
(ORIGINAL)
ro.product.device=..............
(The ... stands for whatever your device is. Its different for every one so I just put .... as an example)
(NEW/CHANGE TO **Only use one of these and dont copy whats in brackets**)
ro.product.device=softwin (Fakes JXD S7300b)(Recommended)
ro.product.device=olympus (Fakes Motorola Atrix)
ro.product.device=d2att (Fakes Samsung Galaxy S3 on att)
ro.product.device=grouper (Fakes Nexus 7 Tablet)
ro.product.device=tf300t (Fakes Asus Transformer Pad)
ro.product.device=GT-P7500 (Fakes Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1)
ro.product.device=maguro (Fakes Samsung Galaxy Nexus)
ro.product.device=tf201 (Fakes Asus Transformer Prime)
(Make sure you change what comes after the equals sign to "softwin/olympus/d2att/etc" no spaces)
11. Save, restart your phone.
12. Go to Aplication Manager in your settings. Clear data for Google Play Store.
FINALLY check the Play Store for a ton of new apps. Give it a few minutes to add the new apps well your searching. Takes a few minutes to see the changes and new apps!!!!!!!!!
ENJOY AND REPORT BACK IF THIS HELPS
So far ive found out that:
The Dark Knight Rises = Workes perfect so far. Great graphics.
(New) Dead Trigger = Working good no issues ive notice. Still trying it out but seems really good and fast loading.
(New) Gangstar Rio = Running perfect.
(New) Samurai II Vengeance = Working good, no issues as of yet.
(New) N.O.V.A 3 = Runs amazing havent had any issues.
(New) Wild Blood = Works fine. No issues at all.
(New)The Amazing Spider-Man = Working good. To bad drawing distance wasnt increased for the game seeing as the s4 has so much ram
(New) Rayman Jungle Run = Works great no issues. Looks nice on the S4.
Real Boxing = WORKING FOR THE FIRST TIME :~)
9mm = NOT WORKING. Non compatible message. Still trying different versions.
NBA Jam = NOT WORKING.
Wanted to add to the list Tegra games that can be bought in the app store (just for reference):
Riptide GP = Works great. Max out graphics settings in options for water splashed on screen, better waves and all around better graphics.
I know theres more in the Play Store just cant remember right this second.
Anyone who has tested Tegra games not purchasable and purchasable in the Play Store feel free to add to the list or do your own testing with different app Could be useful later on, obv the S4 can handle these games.

I have all the files and did it all manually. Takes time for me to get them up and running to finally try but most are working.

And from what I've experience, PS3 controller doesn't work that well (I only tested it using Bluetooth). You can use the d-pad, but the buttons on the right and the joysticks don't work too well.
Buy a Moga controller online it is compatible with most games. Download the Moga app to ger an idea of what games are compatible. Basically all the games ive been testing have been updated to work wirh the Moga controller. Looks like an xbox controller with a mount for yoyr cell phone atached.
(New) Nova 3 works great also on the S4

The Moga controller works with a lot of android games and has a second mode I think that helps with emulators. Ill report back once it gets delivered.

I didnt copy I used a list I had to make the modification. Only took a 2 phone models from yours lol. I have game compatibility also on hear which saves people time and money downloading games not knowing if they work. Both our threads are great to have. Ive also been looking at getting the gamws that dont work to work somehow. Must be more of a work around.

lol riiighhhtt, if you say so...
anyways there is an app called ChainFire 3D. it requires root to work and it works by adding in the NVIDIA drivers, so tegra exclusive games can be played. It also has a PlayStore fix, but i don't know if its been tested on the S4. maybe thats something you wanna look into?
I know about Chainfire 3d. Have all ready been looking if it can help.

NVM, looks like ChainFire 3d will lead to a brick since it doesn't work on JellyBean
I tried another method. Was suppose to work on 4.2.2 but caused boot loop.

cant try out new method the bootloader is locked and can't have cwm installed
I wanted to know if anyone has got this working on the xperia tablet z? Iv tried to contact gameloft but there is no word on it and no videos of anyone playing it on this tablet. Can anyone confirm it works? before I buy it and sideload.
If it isnt available via the Play store then chances are there may be some issues with it. If I were you I would look into testing it by finding an APK and seeing if it works. You could also edit your build.prop to one you know works woth the game and then buy it and install it via the Play store that way.
