I don't want to use apps like big caller id , full caller image..
is there any way to phone.apk to get large caller image..

I saw nocturnals messaging setup and it was black and its shown a blue smiley face with an incoming message. The message notifications. I want that on another ROM I downloaded. Does any one know of this? If you do can someone please send me a zip so I can flash it. Thanks.

if the ROMs are compatible (sense and sense - same base RUU) try just pulling the Mms.apk from the one you like and push into your current setup.
I really don't know how to do that.

I think all you have to do is take the apk out of the rom zip file you want and put that apk into the system/app directory of your current rom. And make sure to back up or erase the old mms.apk when you do that

you can adb push it too, if you know how to use adb
I have made some modifications on bazz rom by replacing some system apps with apps from cm7.1.0 rc0.
I dont know how to replace lock screen , for that reason iam using widget locker. Here iam attaching some screenshots.

be cool, thats only a joke. btw, the lockscreen is integrated within sistemUI.apk or framework-res.apk . I'm not make sure which one since I never modify a lockscreen before. I figure it because my lockscreen changed when I push those file in my rom

well...I don't see any app with that name in /system/app folder. It seems that you've already changed the lockscreen. I'm glad to see that

Well, it may be risky but use root explorer to find system/app on your phones memory. Then replace the default SMS.apk with your SMS.apk.
Don t think will work,i won t be able to recieve sms.

1st of all it's mms.apk
2nd if he does it the icon will show up in the launcher and he will be able to send sms but he wont recieve an sms

Thank you, it works. But i can't understand how to set the whatsapp image, i only have a text that said: you have xxx unread messages.
How can i set the image of the app and the number like in the screen?
