Hi,
Before anything I want to make clear that by super smartphone I refer to new and upcoming dual and quad core phone ex. HTC One X, Sony Xperia S, Galaxy Note, and Galaxy Nexus.
I'm planning to buy a new phone, but first I want to be sure which of this will work on T-Mobile, and if someone know of another phone that is also worth buying can also let me know, I would greatly appreciate.

A friend of mine is on att and asking about help buying a new phone.
He asked about an Inspire, but I said no because it's got old hardware by now, time to get a nice dual-core phone. Not interested in Atrix or any other motocrap phone. Prefer HTC, but not even sure they have a dual-core on att yet, Holiday soon maybe? release dates anyone? same with the SGS2 variant, when's that coming out?

I would recommend Samsung Nexus S if you want a pure Android device. If you want a customized UI, then I would say Samsung Galaxy S.
thanks ill look both phones spec
Hi! as some of you might know i had problems with my past samsung galaxy note i717, so i returned it. was a bad experience but i'm in loved with the cellphone and i don't wanna make mistakes twice.
I'm trying to buy a new one through ebay, and i want it closer to new.
so i found the "seller refurbished"
and i found as "new" a "floor demo model"
and another one listed as new but without it plastics but under samsung warranty.
What would u guys recommend? and what does "floor-demo model" means?
would you recommend me buying the i717 or the note II? (i read is the same thing... just for the screen)
thanks

"Refurbished" is one that was returned, checked over, corrected, and sent back out. Usually has a warrenty.
"New Floor Demo" was probably a device on display at a retail outlet. While it can be classified as "new" since no one ever bought it, it probably has the most use. Everyone and their mother touched it.
"New w/o plastic + warrenty" was probably bought, opened, tested, and put back in the box. I would only worry that the warrenty wouldn't transfer if it has already been registered.
Now to the Note I v. Note II: they are definetly not the same device. Pretty much every factor and spec is different. Dual-core S3 v. Quad-core exynos, 1gb ram v. 2gb ram, 1280x800 v. 1280x720, 5.3" v. 5.5", Android 4.0.4 v. Android 4.1... they list goes on.
If it were me, I wouod buy the Note II if the funds were available. It really is quite pricey. Subsidized would be a different story. I would read reviews on both. Make the decision. One is older but still more than capable. The other is brand new and currently sitting on top of the cell phone mountain.

Hello guys! I have recently decided to buy a new phone, and after some searching on the internet, I cannot decide between the following phones (they all have the same price from where I buy them): Optimus G, Nexus 4 and Galaxy S3 LTE. I would go for the nexus because of the fast updates coming from Google and the powerful hardware, but I don't like that it has the buttons on the screen and I would really like an LTE phone because it is more future reliable. I like the Optimus G and the S3, but I can't decide between them. I like both interfaces, they have similar hardware, and also the storage is much bigger. I don't think that the Nexus has enough storage.
So, in conclusion, I would like a phone that will receive updates (like 4.4 kitkat) and that has a nice interface and powerful hardware. So which one should I choose? Thank you in advance.
Wrong forum this is not S3 LTE forum

Hi guys,
I'm thinking about getting a monthly plan from a local carrier. The plan offers your choice of a bunch of different phones. The phone I choose will be replacing my Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016 edition).
I will mostly use the phone for texting and Spotify, but I need the phone I choose to be as dev-friendly as possible. This means no locked (or very easily unlocked) bootloader, painless to install recovery like TWRP + root. Because after I root, of course I will be installing apps like Titanium Backup, Viper4Android, etc.
Here are the devices I can choose from the plan:
Sony Xperia XA Ultra
Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime
Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge
Samsung Galaxy A7 2017
Moto G3 Turbo
Moto Z LTE
Moto Z Play
LG Stylus 2
Huawei P9
Huawei Mate 8
Huaweii Y6 II LTE
Lenovo Phab 2
Now of course I can search and search the XDA forums to see how much support each model has, but I am hoping anyone who reads this thread 1: Owns one or more of the devices I listed, and 2: Has experience in rooting / modding them.
Thanks! <3
Edit: I realize that the carrier may or may not pre-lock the phones, but ignoring this, assuming I wanted to buy one of the above devices with cash and not on a carrier plan, which should I go for as far as dev-friendliness?
