nope 10chars

Then your ADB driver is not installed correctly. There may be other causes...
Suggest you try the files from this - they work!

where do you write that command? you just open cmd from start, or from folder where you keep fasboot(by holding shift and rightclick on mouse)?
if you open cmd from start, do you navigate it to folder where you have fastboot.exe?

Do you have ADB installed? Try installing ADB then unzipping the fastboot package into that folder. There are really good directions on xda, or google.
But if you get to the point where you fastboot oem unlock. There should be the unique id number there that you use to unlock...
Also try to reflash the pudding and the fastboot oem unlock command.
Sent from my MB860 using Tapatalk
What happens when you try?
Tried all that but unzipping to adb folder only to desktop will try that tomorrow morn when I get home from work and will repost thanks for the reply
I got all the way to the warranty warning screen entered the id but must of entered.it incorrectly it unlock aborting tried again with redoing reflash all over again and problem is when entering.the first command in adb shell it says wrong path specified that's where im stuck now
What I did was extract these files to : c:\atrix
pudding_183.sbf
adb
adbwinapi.dll
adbwinusbapi.dll
fastboot
IHOP_bell.sbf
moto-fastboot
recovery
I'm not sure if I needed every file but I got done by changing my directory to
cd c:\atrix
then fastboot oem unlock
wrote down the code
then fastboot oem unlock (your # here)
fastboot reboot
Make sure you enter it exactly as it shows on the screen, and yes that does include capitol letters.
That's the only tip I can think of.

I could be mis-reading this so if I am I apologize however it seems that you are using the wrong program you need to use the fastboot exe not adb which would be the reason for getting the error messages. (if that is the case)
Prolly not your case, but I extracted the files to a folder so when I typed in their destination, the powers that be couldn't see them where I told them to look...

[Unlocked Only][Recovery] ROMRacer's Custom CWM-based Recovery 4.0.1.4

With a little modding, I was able to get ROMRacer's Atrix recovery console working on the Photon, I PM'd him letting him know the change that needs to be made for it to work, so if he post a thread over here, I will close this one.
So for the time being, here's a true CWM recovery console for the Photon.
I chose the blue version for this but I imagine that if ROMRacer makes a thread, he will post the other colors also.
And as the title states, THIS IS ONLY FOR UNLOCKED PHONES
Install instructions
Extract the zip, put the recovery.img in the same directory as adb and get the phone into fastboot mode the same way you did to unlock it
And type this
Code:
fastboot erase recovery
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

RSD Lite not loading .rar files?

So, for the millionth time, Im trying to unlock my bootloader and now I cant get the RSDLite to even recognize .rar files. Its not even an option anymore as a file it will load. Ive deleted and reinstalled and still no option for .rar file. Anyone have any suggestions?
Also, where Im suppose to "cd to my fastboot", does that mean that the folder I created on my desktop and extract the fastboot zip into is where I cd to and then run the unlock command once Im in that folder??
Ive probably asked 7 or 8 times and even PM a few of the devs and have yet to get any help that makes it where I can understand, so if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciate! Just PM me if you want or post here. It doesnt matter!
And if you do or can give advise, please dont just say "cd to where you have your fast boot and run it"? I dont 100% understand that.
Thanks in advance!!
Extract the sbf file from the rar. Flash.
Sent from my Motorola Photon 4g
newalker91 said:
That's because you don't pull .rar files into RSDLite. You need to get 7zip or Winrar and extract the .sbf from the zipped package. As far as the fastboot part, you need to put the folder somewhere easy to get to, such as right in your C:\ directory. Then you'll put into command prompt "cd C:\moto-fastboot" or whatever the name of the folder was. Then youll run the command "moto-fastboot oem unlock" blah blah as the instructions list.

One last question...when I run the oem unlock command...once I cd to the fast boot folder, do I physically type in run or just the unlock command?
example - run moto-fastboot oem unlock
or
moto-fastboot oem unlock

Second one. You don't need to put run infront of anything in cmd prompt.

OK...MUCH APPRECIATED! I just PMd you another question!! SORRY!
Man your lucky. I had a few questions I posted in the unlocking thread and couldn't get one answer. I guess maybe next time I will just start a new thread in the dev section with my question. It really seems to get results.

Ctrl+Alt+T to open up a terminal. Then cd into the folder where all your dirtyracun/babyracun files are. Then run all the commands from there. Most commands require you to be in fastboot on your phone. Babyracun requires you to be in TWRP. And babyracun is only required if you have the 3.16 OTA installed (which is what the first step tells you).
Ok, so I will be trying this tomorrow. I hope I can get throu it. Ill report back.

Are you running the commands from the folder your fastboot file is? If you download dirtyracun, one of the files in there is fastboot, just cd into the folder where you extracted them and run the command from there.
Other than that, make sure your phone says "fastboot usb" when plugged into the computer and in fastboot.

My Evo LTE is the first time I've ever had to use adb or fast boot and install SDK. I did, and I've used fastboot a few times now (not on this device, actually, on a GNex I have to maintain). But I'm really new to ASB, fastboot, and Linux commands. It might be helpful to explain what CD is/means. It would be helpful to me, too.

Sorry. The command "cd" (change directory) plus the folder or path to where the dirty racun files are. If you don't know the path, you can do
cd ls
to list the directories. If you see the folder you want, like your "dirtyracun" folder (or whatever you called it),
cd dirtyracun
will put you in that folder. This and putting "sudo ./" before every fastboot command is all the linux you need to know to s-off.
