Hi guys,
As you can see in the attachment, I've organized all my apps in folders inside app drawer.
But I would like to know if it would be possible for me to hide certain folders, such as the folder named "Others".
Thanks for your help.

I think it's not possible to hide folders in TouchWiz, but I don't use TW Launcher for a long time so maybe I'm wrong.
Either try TW Launcher 4.5, it could have the ability to hide icons (but I am not sure) : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1061883 or use some other launcher (GO Launcher, Nemus Launcher, Launcherpro...).

I want to change my messaging and contacts icons on the touchwiz launcher but can't figure out how. The only option it gives me is to replace them with another app. I can make new icons to place on my screens but not on the tw row.

You need Launcher Pro or some other home screen alternative to change those.
I have been using Launcher Pro for a while now and wanted a change for a while. Thanks though.
how do you guys sort your apps in folder and app drawer?
im currently running touchwiz 4.5 from task650 ics'd out v5 rom and app sorting only works within each grid. i want all the apps with all the grids to be sorted alphabetically.
Are there also no way to sort in folders?
appzorter doesnt work for touchwiz 4.5.
i want to know your ideas.
You need to open the app drawer. Menu button then edit. You have to manually organize your apps in alphabetical order. I have always been able to move apps to different drawer screens. When you download a new app just move it into place.
I know about that. I just thought there might be something i missed or an automatic way.

Is there a way to put app icons from the app drawer to a folder to the app drawer itself? I tried using several homescreen replacements but i really like how the SE default feels, feels premium! Thanks in advance

I hardly understood what you said and concluded that you want to set icons for folder like the icons in app drawer are
for that you can use any of these two softwares one is free other is paid app
You can change icons of software by using first and by using second link you can change icon of folders ...
To change icon of software get -
Desktop VisualizeR
To change icon of folder get -
Folder Organizer Paid
Folder Organizer Free
Else get this light weight launcher and its really very fast responcive and low memory consumter...

Organised Drawer on the market is the nearest I can think of.
It's more of an app drawer replacement I think, but will do the job.
You still can as far as i know...
From the app drawer: Menu Button -> Edit -> Drop applications onto "Add Folder" at bottom of screen -> Drop newly filled folder into app drawer.
I haven't used any gingerbread rom past KI3 so maybe something changed, but I just upgraded to ICS and the options is still there so i doubt it.
Can you not just touch and drag
An app over another one to create a folder?

On the ICS stock launcher home screen, yes. In the app drawer, no. In Touchwiz, no.
Isn't he using
Adw launcher?
Edit- NM I've just tried it doesn't work. What about trying go launcher ex I know that allows for folders and a lot more customisation.

Yeah you might be right. I haven't used ADW EX since before the recent big updates though. Previously when I tried it folders weren't possible in the app drawer...
One of the major reasons I stuck with Touchwiz actually.
On my iPod Touch 4G, I really like the 'Poof' app available in Cydia. It allows the app icon to disappear from the springboard. You can type the app name in search bar and it appears (You can turn that off too).
Is there any similar app available for Android ? I searched alot but haven't found one.
I am running JellyBean 4.1.2 CM10 tytung's ROM on my HD2.
i'm running cm10.1 with apex launcher. I just hide icons of apps I don't want to show in my app drawer and then use the google search bar at the top of the screen to find hidden apps by typing their name in or saying open "app name".

I tried Apex Launcher, it was slow and consumed more battery than CM10's default launcher Trebuchet. You running it on HD2 ?
Trebuchet is getting a 'hide apps' feature soon too. The maker of Trebuchet posted it on his Google+ page along with a load of other features.

Use 'hide it pro' app from play store to hide anything from your device. It's also available on the ios app store

Installed Hide It Pro but didn't worked for me. Now installed Nova Launcher, and now I am able to hide apps. Plus its very fast and smooth than any other launcher.
Thanks for the help guys.
