I miss having the option to light the touch keys only in the dark. Anybody know if there are any mods to get this option back in ICS?

Widget locker does that if you don't mind replacing your lock screen.

It works for me. I think the option is buried somewhere in the settings.

I see the toggle button in widget locker where that *should* make any physical button wake the device, but it doesn't work for me. Im also looking for a way to make the volume buttons wake screen, if you find a way please keep us posted!!

This also doesn't work for me, I am running Joker's Skinny ROM and obviously rooted, unlocked and unbricked..for now.
That is strange. It worked for me on Homebase and its working on cybik's cm7 build.
EDIT: I should probably note that I can only get the volume buttons to wake it. The camera button is a no-go, no matter what setting I try.

That's cool...I remember seeing videos of a guy waking up his CM7.1 phone with a long press on the screen..that was sick.
If your running the ICS leak you can go into settings and completely turn off the back lighting on the touch keys on the bottom of the phone. I know where the buttons are. I don't need them to be glowing. This helps me especially at night when it would kill my eyes having those LEDs on.
Settings > Display > Touch key light duration > Always off

thanks! This was in GB too. Strange the "only in the dark" option was in GB but not ICS. I liked that one.

Is there anyway that i can turn the jeybiard vibration off but the capacitive buttons vibration are on?
Without flashing a custom rom

I believe there is a setting for that. If you go to settings > input and language and select the keyboard you use, there should be a setting to turn off haptic feedback/disable vibration.

I had these on my old note, an app that would make my soft keys flash when I get a message. Just can't think of the name. Any ideas, my search has come up empty.

You need kernel support for bln

Back Light Notification
Most ROMS have that built in if you look at the advanced section of the setting menu you can enable or disable them there. BLN just lets you control them.
Thanks folks, that was it!

Just went through some settings in Light Flow.. but didn't see any setting GS that would do what you want. There may be an app out there, but natively I don't think its doable.
