Hi eveyone,
I have Samsung Galaxy S I-9010 and I have been trying to root it. In the process, I messed things up and installed firmware for another model, my buttons got all mixed up, it was terrible.
After that, I flashed my phone using this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1329630 and I even managed to root it (I've got the superuser icon) but I can't seem to find this file anywhere:
-MODEM_I9010XXJK9_REV_00_CL737172_SIGNED.tar.md5 (12,291 mb)
So now, I have rooted phone that has no cell reception and I can't use its basic functions. I have gone on every site available to me, and always found just first two files (GT-I9010-CSC-MULTI-OXA902407.tar.md5 and I9010XXKB2-REV00-ALL-low-CL909299.tar.md5).
Where can I find this file, or how else can I reslove this problem?
Thanks in advance.
Bump.
Anyone?

i was really wanting to just root my device but for the time being leave the current rom on, i mainly wanted to uninstall blatware for now and backup etc...
anyway things have gone a bit wrong, i tried following the beginners guide on the following url:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1056334
i downloaded the files that it tells you to, i opened odin and selected the XWKDD file as it says to and it said that the root was sucessful, but my phone didn't fully reboot, it went off and come onwith the samsung galaxy s2 logo and a yellow ! under it, and now it just stays on that and wont do anything else
have i ruined my phone or can it be fixed without losing any of my data or the way i had my phone?
any really fast help would be great, id love to sort this tonight if i can.

I AM HERE FOR ANSWERS NOT JUDGEMENT
So i have a Samsung Galaxy S2 Titanium from Virgin Mobile (SPH-D710CMUB)
Before I get into the problem let me just tell you what happened.
1. Rooted my phone no problems at all.
2. Installed Chainfire 3D. Extremely Stupidly I didnt read the description. its doesnt work on JB 4.1.2. and guess what... I installed it and ran it.
3. Went into boot loop
4. got it out of bootloop. I dont know how. But new problem is it got stuck at Firmware upgrade encountered an Issue...
5. doesnt work in kies so i use odin.
6. i am pretty new to android and the updates and stuff still but i downloaded a Samsung Galaxy s2 (international) version of 4.1.2 jb
7. It failed many times but i got it to work and it may have glitched my phone (*or something* and now the model number is GT-I9100 instead of SPH-D710CMUB
Question 1 Is it possible to change the model number in the way described above?
Question 2. If it is possible. is there a way to change it back?
If you can answer those questions for now that would be very helpful. I do have more if someone is willing to help.
Hi,
After trying to get TWRP working on my Galaxy S3 i9305T (Australian Telstra Model), I think I have bricked the device.
I manually flashed TWRP recovery from this http teamw.in/project/twrp2/146, but turns out it's international, not the Australian one, which I unfortunately only realised later. Since then, my phone has looped the loading splash screen and the recovery screen. I've reinstalled CWM v6.0.2.9 Touch successfully on it, but I can't install any roms, because the phone doesn't seem to be identifying properly.
Under another recovery software/thing, it was saying that the ROMs I had (i9305 from the official CM website) were for m3, something, something, i9305, and that mine was an 'm0.' Would anyone be able to push me in the right direction to get my phone working again? Any help GREATLY appreciated.
Cheers
Ah, I managed to fix it by flashing the stock rom over it, took a short while to find.
Edit: It was from sammobile, in case anyone comes across this thread trying to fix the same problem.
Hello everyone
I am very new to this website as I just signed up and registered today. I am currently having a problem with my android phone, and I cant figure out how to resolve it.
The problem that I am having is that last week I was updating my phone when something in the device and caused my phone to become bricked. And after spending many hours on Youtube I finally found a video that helped me recover my phone by flashing the phones memory with clockworks recovery using odin and I was able to get my phone back up and working. But now whenever I turn my phone on I see the yellow triangle appear on bootup and I want to get rid of the triangle.
I downloaded the apk file for triangleaway but in order for me to be able to run it on my phone my phone needs to be rooted, and I have tried many ways to root my phone but it still says that my phone does not have root access.
My phone is a Samgung Galaxy Ace X II
Model Name GT-S7560M
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Hi, my wife's phones died and we had to do a rectory re-set. I have been trying to recover the photos she had on the internal memory using a deep scan but these all require the phone to be rooted, this is where the problem starts.
I have followed the links on here on how to do this, everything looks fine once its finished installing the root program, says passed in Odin but then I do the root test and it says "sorry you do not have root access". I have tried the trouble shooting solution (taking the battery out then turning on to activate the install) it installs fine but then it still says I don't have root access. I have been on this for about 8 hours over three days searching this forum and various other places on the internet but just cant find a solution. If anyone has any suggestions please, please help me it will be very much appreciated.
