Yes its rooted.
here's a quick tip:
if its a CUSTOM ROM......99.999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999% of the time, its already rooted for you.....
if its a flashable rom...and does NOT specifically state that it is NOT rooted....assume its rooted....
Luckily its after red's bedtime, otherwise this would already be closed

Also, anything that has CWM can be rooted just by flashing Superuser or SuperSU

Probably be able to download it but it will fail to install because of the custom recovery.

Is Samsung started OTA upgrade for Tab 10.1 ? Any way to get it even if the update says " No Updates Available". At present I am at 3.2

Why not just wait a few hours after the update drops for one of our fine devs here to build a flashable/rooted version???

As far as I am aware, the update to 4.0.x for our 10.1's has not been released yet.

Just flash the stock recovery back to your tab, not sure if root will stay after the OTA though.

If all you did was root it and nothing else, you'll get the update. Chances are you'll loose root though.

That's correct. If you are rooted but still have the stock recovery you will be able to do the update (which I'm assuming will be OTA), but more than likely lose root. If you installed a custom recovery you'll need to revert back to stock.
Once you root and install custom rom then is it possible to go back to factory state?

i've used it before without issues, but i've tried 4.1.1, and 4.1.2 odin flash, plus CF root on my i317 and cannot get TA to attempt to wipe counters. I open the app, tap "reset flash counters", download the add-on, agree to warnings, and nothing. no reboot, or anything.
Any ideas what would cause this?

Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
i got my firmware files from sammy, downloaded TA from play store, and i've had my CF root for a while (maybe old version?). i have noticed that adb works, but adb reboot bootloader just reboots, and no fastboot commands work while in download/bootloader mode. that's never been an issue before, and i'm on a mac.
I can get all flags set back to official/normal, just can't get TA to reboot and attempt to wipe the counters.
does not work on my s2 i777 is there another way?

Hi all.
I flashed I9300XXUFME3 on my S3 and I want to root it.
How do I can to root it?
A way without cf-root please.
Hi
The procedure is the same as for 4.1.2.... Simply flash cwm with Odin and that's all

cf-root is a primary root and I want to Install super user not super su and I want to root it fully.
Sounds like an odd reason.
Why not just flash a rooted 4.2.2 rom?
Anyway I don't know a file that used super user.

Okay, I mistyped. You unroot through a factory restore via Kies, but the Knox counter is still tripped.
No, that's fine.... Just making sure of the proper way to unroot. I was pondering using the posted .tar file and using Odin, but wasn't sure if that was the best method.
