Hi,
I own a Sony MW600 that I used to connect to a SonyEricsson Android 1.6. recently I upgraded to the HTC Desire Z (A2.2) and what a surprise to realize that even if some information are sent the name of the caller or the title of the song played are not sent to the receiver.
It seems this problem is due to the fact that Google downgraded the version of the AVRCP in 2.X to 1.0 while it was 1.3 in A1.6
Is there a way to create a custom ROM or include in the CM Roms the latest version of the AVRCP libraries to allow full data exchange between bluetooth devices (like a remote, a watch, a car stereo...)
Thanks!
C.
+1 for this thread
Threadstarter,
The issue was that android didn't support avrcp 1.x
The question I have is does ICS support AVRCP 1.4
Hello @ all
I have the same Headset for my rooted LG O3D (off 2.3.5/EU).
Does anyone has an idea how to install the newer AVRCP version?
Or is there any possibility to export it from CM7?
Greetings
Hi am using Xperia X10 2.1 with latest update...
when I connect my Dell BH200 Device which is capable of playing music as well for answering the phone calls and talk using it. The Device just connects fine with my Xperia X10, for both Phone and Media...however, I can only play music on it. When there is call(incoming/outgoing) the bluetooth device is turned off in next 10 - 15 secs. Any clue why it does not work?
Is there anything that I can do to get it work with this phone?
P.S... the device works fine with my old SE P990i both for music and call..also works well with laptop for music
Hi all. New member to this excellent forum. Have searched but could not find an answer to the question below.
Is there a way of enabling the Bluetooth Serial Port Profile in the Xperia Neo V? Can this profile be integrated in a modified ROM?
FYI, I have tried the Cyanogen Rom but with no success.
Thanks in advance,
Any suggestions / advice? Should I post this query in the developers section?
Thks
To be honest, I'm not sure what are you asking for
According to SE white paper the Xperia Neo V supports the following bluetooth profiles:
Advanced Audio Distribution Profile v.1.2
Audio/Video Remote Control Profile v.1.0
Handsfree Profile v.1.5
Headset Profile v.1.1
Object Push Profile v.1.1
Phonebook Access Profile v.1.0
I have an application in my PC (PhoneControl - no longer supported) which uses the Bluetooth Serial Port Profile (SPP) to connect to the phone so that I can use the PC to make a phone call. It used to work fine with my old K770i which supported bluetooth SPP but that was not Android of course.
So my question is whether there is a way (software wise) to enable the bluetooth SPP in the Xperia Neo V.
Hope the above clarifies my query.
Thanks

Hello, I have exactly the same question, since I want to connect my NEO via Bluetooth to my Win7(64) Laptop in order to synchronize Calendar and Contacts with MyPhone Explorer. It works via USB - no problem - but Bluetooth would make it even more comfortable since you dont need a cable
However, did you manage to get an answer? Thanks in advance!
I have a Neo MT15i with a stock 4.0.4 routed. I'm not able to use my parrot ck3000: the smartphone correctly find the parrot and lists it as an "available device" with a small icon of a telephone aside but if I touch it to pair with the parrot I see a popup saying "Pairing" going on forever; I switch off either the bluetooth in the Neo or the power on the Parrot. When I switch on again I find in the Neo the Parrot listed as paired. Unfortunately it's not connected: nor for calling neither for receiving.
The Parrot works flawlessly with my old Blackberry 9100 and with the new Huawei y300 (with 4.1.1).
Any suggestion to make my Neo to work ?
I have a Sony Bravia Kdl 43w800c, which runs on Android 7.0
I recently bought Philips Bluetooth speakers.
I tried connecting my TV via Bluetooth
It didnt show Philips speaker in list.
I contacted Sony customer care.. they said my tv's Bluetooth can only be connected to 3d glasses and remote...
I was disappointed... My TV has Bluetooth , my Philips speakers have Bluetooth..
Is there any way to connect both?
I checked the installed apps list only Bluetooth share app is installed...
I tried installing Bluetooth app from my smartphone
It says APK is corrupted..
Did anyone else face the problem/
Developers please help me..
Thanks
