hi all..
I purchased the app AudioBoost SGS2 - ICS WORKING! on android market for my SGS II.
Amount was debited from my credit card. But still shows as not purchased. I mailed the developer twice, pm ed him here in xda but no reply or action. Kindly help to get the app or my money back

Android market is who you contact not XDA ..

Exactly.
Contact Google, contact the dev. Does not require a post on XDA because there's nothing anyone here can do about it. Besides, I doubt losing the $2.50 is going to send you broke in any event.

Just contact whoever you have the problem with.

Multiple Market Account Purchase problems

Hey guys, been having this problem that's been killing me, so I'll run it by everyone, and hopefully I can get a better idea of what's going on.
1. I purchased Titanium Backup Pro KEY from the marketplace using ONE gmail address.
2. I don't use the above address anymore *(Plus my gChat contacts are with another email address).
So, any way to get the apps from account #1 into my #2 gmail account?

No, there is no way to do it.. It isn't a "Problem"
It just wasnt made to do it that way.
And I'm asking for a way to add or transferapps from one account to another.
Am I being asinine or is saving money from not having to buy all my apps all over again on another account just being too old fashioned?
AS far as I'm concerned, yes it is a defect.
I'm not asking for am opinion on the matter, I'm asking for a solution.

You may not always get the answer you would like to hear.
But like I said.. You can't transfer apps to other accounts.
No solution.
Not a defect.
Just not made that way.

Security issue with Google account..

Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else, or if anyone has any ideas about what I should do.
I recently discovered that somehow a coworker of mine company credit card, in which I have no access to, was attached to my google wallet account.. Several of my android market purchases were being charged to the card without my knowing. I talked to someone at the android Market help center, and was told that if he made a purchase with that card from an online company that uses Google checkout to process their orders, and I had logged into my account on that computer recently than the card and the account could get linked. How about could this be! Doesn't seem very secure to me. Obviously this is causing problems for me at work, and I'm having a hard time getting answers from Google. Any ideas? Thanks for reading. Google account disabled!

For some reason my Google account had been disabled! When I go to the website and try to fix it, it just keeps looping thru the help. I can't access my Google store, gmail. Etc. Any ideas?

Had the same issue, emailed them and about 6 hours later it was fixed...something about my account was compromised. Just curious can you get into Google play?

Off topic but I like your user name and avatar lol my dad is a big harley fan (I believe he has an 03 road king 100th anniversary edition that has some special shade of blue) not to mention he got me into motorcycles too, but I don't know anywhere near what he does

Hmm good too know, the number I going and called said they were closed on Sundays. It was Google help line. So I'll call in morning. I'll post as soon as Ik what was the issue.

I received an email friday about comprised Google account. Something about gtalk something I don't use. It told me to go thru the help site to fix it. Just clicked on the third link and it asked me to reset my password and all was fixed. Wouldn't let me log on until I did.

Google play has been a bit 'sketchy' as of late. I had a couple problems (solved with a telephone call) and have read about several others.
Well I had searched and read that a password rest fixed some Ppl problems. So I did the forgot password link, they sent a code to my phone, I changed password and it was fine again!? I'm just glad I got it back. I haven't tried the play store, I will, and if any problems I will report back. Thanks for the tips!

CAUTION:
All Galaxy SIII have seen since Google Play now offer an update for "Samsung WDH Dongle Upgrade" at this address:

I strongly discourages owners of this phone to do this update until Samsung confirms that this utility comes right from home.
Indeed, we can see that this application is signed by Samsung is saying except that the email address of the developer on the Google page play is nothing other than:
samsung.ota.upgrade @ gmail.com
Not to mention that Samsung offers updates by Samsung and not Google Apps Play. Not to mention also that this is not the usual account of Samsung which is used to provide this update!
In short, there are many indications that it would surely be an application riddled by a wise guy that tries to exploit a flaw in the GS3.
Expect to learn a little more before you jump in this update ...

Any application that is updated has to be signed with the same key and certificate as the previous version. Seeing as the previous version came already on the phone, it's safe to assume this update comes from Samsung.

Just got this notification to upgrade on my phone as well. Its unlike Samsung to send updates without going through their usual distribution channels. I skipped the upgrade, hopefully this is not the beginning of someone hacking all the Galaxy S3 phones worldwide.

The apps was taken off the Google Play store. Is it a malware??
Look for samsung John on twitter it was in reply to someone asking him.
The app (if you took a look at it) has been signed with the same key as the file it replaces so it was always likely to be real.

I received this update yesterday. It was installed e visible in app list on Application Manager, but early morning, it disappeared from list and Google Play.

I emailed Samsung Customer Support today, here's the reply they gave:
Thank you for contacting Samsung and I have pleasure in providing the following assistance.
In response to your query, please be advised that any official updates for the handset would be availabel either Over the Air or through our Kies software. If you connect your device to our Kies software and there are no updates prompted then your handset is up to date.

So it looks like I somehow have the ability to give out 50gb of free storage from box.com. Not sure why its letting me or how many people it will let me give it to but if you want it just leave an email and ill start sending em out in order until it wont let me anymore. Just didnt want it to go to waste. 50gb is a ton of storage and you can also grab the box.com app from the play store. Peace out my ninjas
UPDATE: I have not forgotten about everyone. Something is wrong with the page where you input the email addresses of the people you are sharing the promo with. Apparently the 'box' people are aware of the problem but have yet to fix it. In the meantime there is a work around. Sign up for the standard free account and after you have done that send me a pm with your email so I can foward it to box.com support people and they will upgrade your account to 50gb and it happens rather quickly, within a few minutes. See the link below and read the comments so you can see this is the way it is being done right now and it appears to have worked fine for everyone so far. I've noticed a few people worried about being spammed since I am new. YOU ARE NOT GOING TO GET SPAMMED. Just trying to hook a few people up that's all.

Nobody is gonna get spammed. Something is wrong with the promo page where u input the email addresses to of the people ur giving the promo to. This is confirmed here https://support.box.com/entries/234...nds-and-Co-Workers-Today-page-is-not-working- and it is still not working. You need to sign up for a regular box account and once u have done that pm me your email address that you associated with you box account and they will upgrade the account to 50gb manually. From reading the comments at the above link this method has worked just fine. Sorry for the hold up but I wasn't aware of this issue when I posted this.
