Hey Keiran, Good that you kept the original sony bootlogo, i like that more than the doomlord one.
Only issue so far, i can't get wifi to work. I used this command to push the drivers: adb push bcm4329.ko /system/lib/modules/
that's the correct command right? or do i need to specify the bcm4329.ko after modules/?
Eventhough, nice work
adb push bcm4329.ko /system/lib/modules/bcm4329.ko
i should have known
long time ago that i last used adb push commands.
Thnx XperiaPlayer, nice to see you're back
EDIT: Even with the right command, still no luck getting wifi to work..
Will check if the build.prop is maybe missing the setprop persist.wifienabled 1 line
EDIT 2: Yep, through adb shell # setprop persist.wifienabled 1 fixed it
im srry but i dont understand how to get wifi working can someone explain it a lil better plz
Just use root explorer to copy over the file to d directory changing permissions

Looks good
Finally some more MIUI love. Will try it out later on with my MIUI build, currently running AOKP (ICS 4.0.3).
Works really well with the latest 2.3.2 MIUI, bravo
EDIT: just rebooted my phone amd unfortunately it reverts recovery back to stock 3e

Use Enigma-1.37. This Version is definite much better.
Using your kernel and liking it so far! I was wondering, what is the difference between an miui kernel and an aosp one? Have you doen any customization/optimization especially for miui?
Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk
miui is based on aosp respectively on cyaongenmod. i have test it only with miui. It may be that it does not work properly with the cyaonogen settings. if you have enough time you can test it.
Been using for a few days...nice work.
Will try the 1.37 version.
What are the differences to previous one?
You can read the changelog eh.

THE BEST !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ok my friend!!! This is real the best kernel!!! I think i love you!!!!!
Great kernel except for one thing ive noticed;
when the music player is running and the screen is turned off (and presumably the cpu drops to 200mhz?) the music becomes jumpy and sorta stops every few seconds. I reflashed another kernel and tested the same songs and other songs and no problem. It happened with every song in this kernel.
Unsure if this is a bug or phone specific but i can reproduce it :S
OK I will check it and bring down to 50mhz.
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda premium

ill come back later with feedbacks
---------- Post added at 05:02 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:57 PM ----------
what is the recomended io + governor for good balance between battery and performance?
Test the Enigma default settings for Cpu and Gpu. There is a script include the kernel. Bt and wifi dont work? It's for miui eh. With Sammy Roms you get no Ip from Router.
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda premium
what are the defaults for io and governor?
i've changed them lol

could you commit your changes for 1.39 to github? source seems to be at 1.34.
I'm very interested what patches you used for android gadget and usb mounting ...
I must learn git. Before i learn git i must learn for my exam.

1.Get any 800*480 resolution image from any place. Lets take this as an example
2.Open up my ramdisk. This is the most advanced step here. You can use kitchen made by dsixda for this purpose.
3.You will find initlogo.rle over there. Delete it.
4.Now follow instructions HERE to convert your image to RLE format
5.Copy this newly generated rle image to my ramdisk and name it as "initlogo.rle"
6.Repack my kernel
7.Flash it and you're done.

It would take only 5 mins to make it cm compatible
But I won't be coming in my hardcore kernel hacking mode right now and you can find the reason in my sign.
I was able to put many new freqs in the kernel and added stuff like init.d, govs etc. Will give you guys detailed changelog after few hours.

It's not very risk use OC on 1.3Ghz? Probably I will try it later. :good: :victory:
So how stable is our phone on 1.3Ghz?
Good job !
EDIT: I'm the only guy who have a problem with WiFi on this Kernel ? @cesanaboia
Anybody have tested it ?
Nice job!
But put munjeni's name at the top of the credits
Finally ! Another custom kernel for KitKat. Hope it improves RAM management. Only one question- can you manage to enable dual recovery in this kernel? It will be awesome.
Thanks,will try and report.
A_P
This kernel is for performance.
But,can you build a power saver edition 200;400;600;800;1000Mhz?
Thanks.
Sent from XU powered by KitKat.
did you do anything to improve ram management? 1.3ghz are useless if you can't even multitask

No problem guy !
One question about OC: have you changed only the dbx500-cpufreq.c to obtain the overclock?
Sent from my ST25i using xda app-developers app
OP I think 100MHz not recommended. Because it cause for stuck phone/laggy or somthing (i've heard that from previous kernel developers). BTW keep updating. Good work!
Good Job Bro thanks U Very Much
Keep Going
Really nice kernel, much better performance than cm 11 kernel because of linaro and oc
Even ram management seems to by better, my home launcher(trebuchrt) haven't faced a redraw after flashing this kernel, even after using dolphin browser
But unfortunately wifi doesn't work. Fix it and this kernel is ready for daily use...
Thank you very muck op

kernel is gpl so you can tell us here also
Kernel works pretty good on AOSP 4.4.2, but damn that bootsplash logo is ugly lol
