Maybe the improvement in gingerbread is not as much as we expected,but in ics we will see the improvement that we want to experienced...

Hmm all I got is much slower performance after installing petruk's. In Antutu I got 3 fps in lined troops with swords, 110 pts in 3D graphics & 331 in 2D. But I'm in SDE anyway. :/

in my rom PetrukDroid-V1 no problems found. i fix update.zip just moved from the original update.zip to the new template. See below for the wrong structure :
update.zip DeHuMaNiZeD :

The red color is the wrong path..

You will need to extract the 2 files from the .rar archive and then rename the one you want to "update.zip" (Without the quotes) and copy to your SD Card. Then reboot yor phone and start xRecovery... choose "Install update.zip".
In the rar file are included the Enabler/Disabler

obviusly normal score is around 460-470

With latest firmware in qudrant i get 499,455,460 score. Before this with jit enabled i was having 520-540 score.

I don't understand why, I've your same score but I've read about 540 points.
But absolutly it works because before make my phone "jit" i had 440 now 500.
But in the second post an user talks about 540 points
I use 2.0.1 and I've 500 points not 550
Quadrant>> before 451 ; after 521 ....it's working.....cheer up

Awesome Eyama i think you should start a new thread adding various features and mods for GingerDX roms! , i would be on v10 if multi touch and the new market was still there and unlocked
It is still there, just D4 just loves writing apps, a app just to load modules.... at any rate, just download the modules.zip and place the load commands in your hw_config.sh or you could just use his moduleloader app, I use a script in init.d)

Apk maneger 4.9 and in option 19 i chose 0, option 20 i chose 512.
Than in map other i have framework-res.apk of rom and runned in cmd ( apktool.jar if framework-res.apk ) and i have no error with decompiling and compiling

XDA Forum Member rk00064 has ported a method originally for the Xperia X8 that will help increase 3D graphics performance. The modification process is a relatively, and involves deleting the libGLES_android.so file from the phone, flashing the modified Adreno Lib files, and giving the build.prop a few tweaks to get everything running.
The end result is a GPU that renders 3D faster than it did previously. As always, make a complete backup before attempting anything, just in case something bad happens. For now, the tweak has only been tested on a couple of ROMs, but should work for any Gingerbread based ROM.
You can find the download links, shout outs, the full instructions and the build.prop tweaks in the original thread.
lg p500 and our ace have same gpu, this will work for our ace also. am just pasting the link here. credit goes to LtHuNTer_StepheN, backup as always. i know its wrong sec but its just an info, let proper devs handle it.

Made a flashable zip for Ace http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1664131/update-Adreno-Lib.zip (replace update-binary and fix mount command). Will test now Antutu benchmark, after flashing this the phone boots normally.

Do not use this directly as an incorrectly modded libGLES_android.so will render your phone unbootable.
I cannot check the files as i don't have computer access right now.
Let some dev do the inspection and if necessary do the modding.

users in lg and x8 forums have reported an increase in their antutu bencgmarks. note: only for 3d not for 2d.
think oc plus this will give a good gaming experience, and mod i think you should move this to development section.

because chainfire 3d is middleware driver which actually uses this as base..so you are updating base currently

I found this zip animation on x10 forum by earbrain. I have tried.this on w8 running gingerdx v025, stock kernel and it.works but quite laggy. Maybe someone can do something about it here. Here is the thred where i found it:

- 2010 => 2012
- 800 mhz => 1000 mhz
- Android 2.1 => Android 4.1:victory:
How to install :
MAKE A BACKUP BEFORE DOING THIS. :good::laugh:
You need a rooted phone.
You need Super Manager (availaible on market for free).
Using wifi/usb put bootanimation.zip where you want on the sdcard, then cut this file with Super Manager and paste it in /system/media.
or you can flash this file with BOOT ANIMATION FACTRY.
Reboot your phone and enjoy.
