Hi everyone, I'm hoping someone has some insight. How can I go about recording a video with an external audio source - say like I'm recording a band and want to take the audio from the soundboard and patch it into the phone!?

Can anyone figure out if an external stereo microphone can be used with the Amaze 4G?
(The stereo is great but the freq response is terrible built-in)
If you record with it is it stereo? is there a stereo/mono option, or a quality option?

Hi all I am off to a rock concert soon and wanna video record it, I am aware the audio in playback will be very distorted, I want to know if attaching a external mic to the galaxy will help reduce distortion picked up?
Hi guys, did you notice the audio in the video recording of our Galaxy S3 having louder volume at the left side if you use a headset?
And also I can hear a small cracking sound at the right side during the video playback (Of the recorded video).
I tried the voice recording and there's no cracking sound at all. Is this an issue in the video recorder of our device?

Using an app called tape recorder I recorded some audio using the s2 and the s3. The results showed the quality of the mics were the same. The ****ty audio quality is only produced when recording video. this proves the hardware is ok. Just needs sorting in the app itself.
Just hope samsung have it on their list of things to fix.

I'm using DND custom ROM in my lenovo a6000 mobile.
When I want to record a video using my camera, video is recording but audio is not recorded. After video recorded is video is OK but audio is not recorded. Audio like buss sound whole video. How to fix this audio problem while video recording ?

i am using AEX for mido, the latest one, but i can't seem to record internal audio. if the option is toggled off "won't include audio from microphone" the audio of the recorded video will be muted and if it is toggled on "will include audio from microphone" the recorded video will have poor audio. i think the recorder with internal audio works fine if used in stock rom. is it really not implemented in custom roms such as AEX or LineageOS? what are the other alternatives for me to record video with internal audio from games?
