Hi,
after I upgraded to 4.0.3 Android on a tablet (Allview Speed) encountered the following problems:
- After restart the tablet, some applications appear to me to be uninstalled, I only icon on the screen and so, it happens to the applications installed in memory of the tablet and moved internal sdcard; also true for applications market as taken from Google and those taken on Apptoid;
- Also after each reboot, I no longer see 32 gb sdcard, be it every time out and reinserting it.
All the best!

Hi,
I'm facing a peculiar problem with regards to the updates that applications receive from the android market,it happens as follows:-
I receive the updates notification,
->i press the update all button or individually update, it starts downloading,
->shows download paused
-> starting download,
->download paused
->then download starts and completes
->then AGAIN it shows starting download,
->then it suddenly shows INSTALLING,
-> then gives a notification of UPDATE FAILED.
-> if i touch the update failed notification it shows could not download to USB Storage or SD Card
this happens whether i select update all or single update, however i can download apps to my device, and uninstall and reinstall the apps which are not getting updated. I would like to state that my SD card is in normal condition as movies and movies play off it smoothly. I also tried restarting, Unmounting and remounting the card, but the problem is still there.If anybody has faced this problem and found a solution for it, please let me know. Thank you in advance
I too have this problem. I have found that on some apps you can uninstall first then move back to SD. If anyone has a better solution I would love to know
Sent from my LG-P500h using XDA App
i dont have such problem, but my market always FC when i tap on the 'just in' apps tap. wondering what has happen with the market apps... =/
Try updating via LG software while connected to your computer through usb cable.
Perhaps, it's the common sd card mounting error, wherein, sometimes the sd card automatically un-mounts and remounts, causing phones to restart, fc for apps, etc.
Firstly, Thanks to all of you for replying to this post. Although i am still facing this problem, i have found a temporary solution to this, even though its not very elegant, its quite useful if you have to update system centric apps like android assistant, go sms pro, titanium backup etc.
->Move the applications which aren't updating to the internal memory,
->Go to the my apps section in android market
-> Update!!!
-> move the app back to the SD memory
Yes i know not as convenient as tapping "Update All", but till a proper solution comes out, this will have to do. Also hell1134 if LG android software is working for you, then you're ONE LUUUUUUUUUCKYYY Guy. Cos in my experience all it ever does is freeze up and suck osama balls. Very badly made software, Uninstalled it the MINUTE i discovered myphoneexplorer.
Hi, I just updated my X10 from Oodie's MIUI pRIME rom ver. 6 to ver. 7. I downloaded the rom, flashed it with Oodie's cwm-based recovery, and rebooted. On entering the home screen, I noticed that the settings app was gone. I then rebooted into recovery and re-flashed the update. This time, I made a backup. When I rebooted, al,ost all my apps were gone! Only a random few like Pulse reader, file expert and foursquare were left. Everything except for the stock apps were remaining. I went to settings (which had reappeared) and checked th installed apps. All my previous apps were listed, however the icons were replaced by a black-n-white icon of the default no-icon pic, with a small word saying "sd" on the bottom right. They were also named "com.xxxxx.xxxxxx". It said that the apps could be moved to the ad card, and their data could be cleared. It also said that all those apps were in compatibility mode. Help!
Maybe the spare parts app i inserted in V7 turned everything to compatibility mode . Try going to spare parts & turn off compatibility mode .
I didn't have the issue because i haven't upgraded . A fresh install with a full wipe will resolve all issues
Didn't solve the problem. Everything stayed the same. Will try downloadin some apps, see if that helps.(
Problem
--> a) Whenever the Tab restarts it just looses all settings and starts like it is started for the first time, with all those first time tips and default settings. Even all apps are gone.
--> b) All Apps suddenly vanished (Were installed in internal memmory, no sdcard used)
--> c) If we try to install the app again using google Play, then google play hangs, does not install the app.
--> d) If we go into settings->storage, the first internal storage shows 0.00Bytes

Do you think you can upload the firmware for me? I can't download it from the digixmedia website. I'm facing the same problem you did
good morning friends, I would ask for help with a problem that I have with my tablet Qbex S843a (which I find nothing on internet)
Specifications:
Tablet 8 "screen.
Android 4.2.2
root status: rooteada
SOC Chip: Super DoulCore A20
Model Number: S843A
Baseband Version: 1.3_20130622
Kernel Version: 3.3.0 inet_rance @ inetsuperserver # 4
Number of Compilation: A20_K801HB.1306251.201.30701
well what happens is this, when I try to restart my tablet hangs on startup that says android, which is easily fixed with a hard reset from the recovery, the interesting thing is that when turned on does not recognize my internal memory system tells me I have memory available 0.0b and 0.0b of total memory, the process I follow is to make several hard reboots and turned off and on again until I recognize that I have 0.99GB.
when recognized works well for a while but then starts to leave several signs that the gapps process was stopped and give and take a few seconds out again
this is accompanied by another sign that the process google services play has stopped.
to fix this I have to do a hard reset but again the problem that does not recognize the memory and I can not install applications if not recognized.
'm root, I have not a copy of the Stock Rom and google can not find it, if anyone knows I would appreciate the solution rather
Many Thanks to All
I installed 36.0.A.2.109 yesterday (OTA update) and now something weird happened to my phone.
First I got a notification, “Corrupted SanDisk SD card”. That happened immediately after the phone rebooted following the update. It offered me the option “Erase & Format” and that seems to have fixed the problem. Fortunately I had nothing of value on that SD card otherwise I would have been pissed.
But that’s only half of the problem. When I plugged the phone into my Windows laptop, I can’t see most of my data in internal storage. For instance, I can’t see the folders DCIM, Documents, Downloads, etc. But on the phone using the File Manager app I can see those folders just fine. And in the Pictures folder I can see only 5 subfolders on my computer. But on the phone using the QuickPic app or File Manager app I can see 19 subfolders with hundreds of pictures in them.
What’s going on here?
(The phone is not rooted for what it’s worth.)
OK, got it to work. This is what I did:
Settings - Apps - All Apps - Show System Apps (from menu), find Media Storage app, clear data. Reboot.
Install media.Re.Scan app, do media scan.
I have a similar encryption bug too. I am experiencing a bug with my Xperia XA ultra. One week after the previous update, I decided changing my phone's screen lock security from pattern to swipe. It worked fine, but when switching again for swipe to pattern the system crashed. I have factory reset it twice. I have performed two system repairs using the Xperia companion and I have also flashed the firmware using the flashtool and every time that I go to settings - screen lock and security - and if I select pattern, pin or password, my phone crashes and I cannot unlock it.
In the meantime, I am just using swipe and it works flawlessly. Any idea why?
(I have also tried clearing the security certificates)
I guess that the firmware was corrupted
the vibration stopped right after the OTA update , didn't work even after resting the phone and reinstalling the software from Xperia Companion.
