Can anyone help me? I'm looking for a weather widget that will take up half a screen (4x2). It'll show me a 5 day forecast for an area and show other areas I have chosen at the touch of a button.
Think similar to the Facebook widget where I touch a small arrow and the next City comes up.
I prefer Palmary Weather, you can find it from the store.

That's pretty good. If only the widget was 4x2 and you could manually scroll through your locations it'd be perfect.
The app looks very nice I was searching for a good weather widget, too

In search of a pure Weather only Widget...I like the Weather portion of Beautiful Home Weather, but do not need the clock option - does anyone know how to disable to clock or an application with only the weather portion....
Weatherbug Elite has a nice widget that displays weather which is what I use.
The Weather Channel... they have three to four types of widgets available
Try snow storm from the market

i use "Weather Widget - Free" by Android Apps. it supports different skins / themes and it can display a single weather icon with temp. i bought beautiful widgets, but prefer this app.
I use Beautiful Widgets BUT DO NOT USE THE WIDGET.
You can go to the options and have the temp show in your notification bar. That way when you click on it you get the cool animations and forecast/current weather from BW, but you get all the space on your home page by not using the widget... kinda the best of both worlds.
I never understood needed a clock widget... utterly pointless in my not so humble opinion.

I'm looking for a agenda widget that's specifically 2x1 in size, but support transparency. I like the the stock agenda widget where it only display today's events and tapping open calender app, but it doesn't do transparency. The ones I found on market (glass widget, agenda) that does support transparency are all 4x1, and display the date in big letters which I don't need.
Any recommendations?
Agenda widget pro is good, shows several calendars in one widget, even showz my touchdown / exchange appointments.
Its free on getjar appstore for the moment

Personally I prefer it over all other I have seen.

Any recommendations for a Weather Widget that has the option of having a manual refresh button on the widget? I'd also like multi-day forecast on the widget, transparent background, and other cool options...but can't seem to find good ones with a way to manually refresh by just clicking a button on the widget.
Beautiful Widgets though it doesn't have the refresh directly on the widget, you can easily reach it be touching the widget
Hd widgets. The best you can get. It's a paid app but its very customizable and will refresh weather on tap

When I tap the widget, it opens the app where you have to hit a refresh button in there. Is there a way to just refresh simply with 1 tap of the widget?
I also couldn't find where you can turn off auto updating, allowing for manual updating only...
I'm not sure why there aren't more weather widgets out there that have a manual refresh on the widget itself, rather than forcing you to open the widget, etc, in order to refresh. I personally don't like auto-updates to be running, but I want a 1-tap method of refreshing the weather info.
Anyway, in case anyone else is looking for the same thing, I did find Palmary Weather Pro that has this functionality. Overall, it's a pretty solid app imo, although it'd be nice to have a few more options within the app to customize things. It'll also be nice to have other app options, because Palmary looks like it hasn't been updated in a while. BeWeather was another one with the manual refresh option, but it is a pretty limited app. So if anyone else finds another one, please post here.
I also found Elecont Weather (or eWeather HD), which can be set to never auto-update, but to manual refresh when just tapping the widget. This app has a lot of widget options and can be customized quite a bit. Getting the widgets looking just right took a while due to all of the various options, but this app seems solid.
Hello guys,
I'm looking for this Weather Widget, an online friend of mine has a LG Maximo 2x with this widget (see attachment, since I can't publish outside link because I'm a recent user)
This is the animation that opens when she tap the widget on me phone desktop.
She told me this is Accuweather version, but I can't find it . (maybe it isn't accuweather, I only know what she told me).
This app also allows sharing with social networks.
I would really like to find it. Please help me.
:fingers-crossed:
It is accuweather, since it displays RealFeel temperature, which is a trademark of accuweather. However, it is different than the accuweather widget we have for touchwiz. It is probably specific to whatever framework the LG phones use.
Nifty little widget there. Me likie.

This is the Accuweather widget, as stated above, but there is a difference between this widget and the widget that comes pre-installed on your S2. The pre-installed widget takes up half the screen and does virtually nothing if you press it. The widget in your picture is available after you download the "Accuweather for Android" app from Google Play.
After you have installed that app, add the plain Accuweather widget to whatever screen you want (!!!not the Accuweather.COM widget!!!) and you should have a very similar, if not identical, widget to what your friend has.
Keep in mind, though, that the picture you posted will only show up after you press the widget for more details. The actual widget is very small and has no animation.
I have AccuWeather for Android installed and that is definitely NOT the widget from it.
It has two, and neither one is the one in that screenshot. Its got the original dark grey 4x1 widget and a new, rather ugly and seriously battery killing, 4x2 with the weather and a clock.
As said, its probably a custom version done for LG just like Samsung has their own.
Not sure what you expect the stock TW AccuWeather widget to do when you touch it. It opens up the Samsung AccuWeather app just fine for me, just like the one from the Play Store opens its respective app.

The only one Accuweather for Android that appears on the GooglePlay is that Accuweather.com (wich is ugly, its the black one with no animation at all).
I really can't find that Accueweather for Android.
The imagem attached is the Accuweather for Android.
Hmm
Well I have the GoWeather Ex widget that is pretty similar to that one, maybe you should try that one out buddy.

I really like what google has brought to the table to compete with siri. Google now is a really useful add on to android, however with the HTC one, i am having problems with the appearance of the widget. I made a new page for my homescreen and put in the google now widget. The widget page that comes up says that the widget is 4x4 and will take up the whole screen. However, when I place the widget on the page, it only displays 2, single, 4x1 cards, the traffic and the weather. I tried going into the settings to see if I could customize is so that I could rearrange the order, or possibly have the weather card be 4x2, but it does not seem like you can. Am i missing something, or is there anything I can do to fix this?
I had the same issue. The sense launcher seems to handle widget sizes really weird. I had a single icon widget with a unread counter on it, it wouldn't line up with other icons. Swap to Nova launcher and everything works as expected.

You can actually resize it to 4x1 easily after it's dropped on the screen. But you're right, it's weird.
