Hello guys! Just like your video said, I'm a noob and I'm proud of it. xD
I search'ed a bit the forum, but I couldn't find what I was looking for.
OK, so I just updated my ROM to the latest version, Revolution ROM 2.5. I restored my apps with Titanium Back-Up, all good. I choose a theme from the "Revolution" soft and installed the ninphetamine 2.0.2 kernel.
Here's some questions that I have:
1. This ROM comes with ~10 widgets. How can I get all the stock ones back? I couldn't find anything.
2. Another thing, can I modify the theme how I want? I mean, I like the Gingerbread Edition theme (with all that green), but on the top-bar I would like the battery icon from the Revolution ROM, the one with some good-looking circles, but on green color. Also the bottle icons I would like to change too (too much green on them).
3. Does anyone know what is the 'process' where the today screens (all 7) are saved? I restored all my data with TBU, and my today was also how it was before updating, but w/o the widgets that are missing. After I reinstall those widgets I'd like to restore that process, where all the layouts are saved.
Thank you very much! Maybe some answers are already on this forum, but don't be hard on me because I didn't find them. Anyone how can help me is welcome and I thank him very much!
You can download the Kitchen app from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1171523
With that you can download stock app, widgets etc
Regarding the green ones, you can download a stock theme then try to flash the other themes from kitchen app. This is what i did
All the download etc can be done via the Kitchen app provided by LEO
Thank you very much for your support!
I managed to get my widgets + some transparent one.
About the themes, I can't do anything. If I download the stock one and then move to another, it will stay to the new one completely.
Isn't there an app that let me customize my theme? Just like Kitchen is, but they have only for general theme/dialer/market. I would want one more complex, to let me choose my style for battery, icons and so on.
Thanks again!
Hey I have a ICS rom on my phone but want the original Samsung Clock application, as it has some many options on it.
How do i delete the Clock app AOSP one and load on the samsung one? Is there somewhere I can download it and just flash it via cwm>
Thanks for your help!
Hi, I would like to install ICS without Samsungs twLauncher but as close as possible to the default one that Nexus would have for example if not the actual default? Can anyone recommend the best rom to flash? Also not looking for a launcher like GO.
So yea basically Googles Android launcher and not the Samsung one
Thanks
Get the Wanam Blue ICS.
or if you dont want to change roms, maybe extract the apk from the wanamlite, or find a download for stock launcher and install it
I was looking for a clean stock basic nexus style rom for my galaxy s3.
I have sprint.
I was looking at supernexus and I like that rom but they don't have one out for sprint.
can anyone suggest to me a rom like what I'm looking for?
thanks!
If you root your device and uninstall everything from Samsung you'll have a basic ROM.
Then you install a basic launcher (like Nova, Apex or ADW... in that order) and you're all set.
Of you can use any AOSP ROM (use the search feature).
I've recently got myself a samsung galaxy s4. Naturally, the first thing I did was root it and put a custom ROM on it. However, there are a few stock features that I would like back (Read: A FEW), such as the one that tracks your eyes so the screen doesn't rotate when you're lying down.
Is there any way (like a selective app pack, or apks) to get some of the stock features back on my custom ROM? I'm running the latest slimbean.
Not unless you run a touch wiz rom.
