read somewhere yesterday that V6 isn't functioning on ICS based roms. - Apparently there will be something new to use soon. - although I'm probably too late with this info...
CORRECTION- Looks like it's possible, but it needs a mod for ICS?

Did you even read the OP?
Anyway.. It works bout 50%. cannot bulletproof the launcher even with the mods. Was really hoping to alleviate the lag associated with ICS. IM on Phonebricker btw.. Battery is phenomenal but I want performance!

It was a little confusing.. did you use the webapp method, or just follow the first steps and step 8?

Was curious so I installed it, I'm on CM9. No problems, so I'm assuming I did it correctly, don't really notice a difference. Just my opinion though!

If you read the drivers console when you run it you'd know if you did it correctly...

Some of you might be interested in using it. I figured that I would give a link since most people only look at phone specific and not Android OS specific. If anyone has used it, I would like to know your experience.

[BOOT MOD] Better CM10 Boot ANIMATION!

* This is the new CM10 "Ring" animation as seen on Epinter and jokersax11 ROMs, but this one looks BIGGER, CLEARER, SMOOTHER!
1. Use Root Browser https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jrummy.root.browserfree to navigate to /system, /media
2. Find the file named "boot animation.zip" and rename it by adding. Bak at the end.
3. Download attached file and move it to this same location.
4. Change permissions to rw, r, r (read-write, read, read)
5. Reboot phone
6. Enjoy your bigger, smoother, clearer CM10 Boot animation.
I hope you guys enjoy this alternative to the original animation. If you really liked it, please suggest devs to include it on their ROMs.
I ask everyone to provide this thread's link instead of mirroring.
Enjoy!

This probably should be under Themes & Apps. I'm no mod, though, so it's really up to them.

Yes, it is, but it is an improvement (my opinion) to the existing Atrix CM10 boot animation.

Not to mention, a quick browse of the theme forum would have turned up quite a few threads regarding boot animations. That is clearly where this thread belongs.

I installed this per instructions but did not see an option for the crt in the build.prop file. I'm running TopSmarts GB ROM. I rebooted and it worked. Looked good to me!! Thanks!!

Question about Avatar rom

I can't post in the Avatar thread since I have never posted before I guess.
I decided to try a custom ROM and chose to try Avatar since I liked the themed skins. It installed smoothly I think, but it says I need to install gapps, and I don't know where or which one I need to install lol.
Would someone mind checking it out?

I think it does the same as AtrixTweaks.
Sent from my Motorola Atrix 4G
im using it since the first 0.1 alpha, its nice, worth the shot, adquired my init.d support in ICS with it. ^^
You will love it.
As It says, it's not a rom. it's just a complement.
seems legit I'll try :good:
i'm creating a nandroid tonight prior to this tweaks as cm10 epinters lacks init.d scripts. tels see how it works. :fingers-crossed:
I've been wondering about this last week, but as most roms are already optimized (currently on MROM) and as i'm already using AtrixTweaks, i didn't try it, but the only way to figure it out is.... :good:

If someone likes cm. It is a nice rom. So yes try it. But there are many who like sense very much. But this is so fast compared to sense. I use TL kernel with it under clocked to 918. Still very fast.I also use trickster mod for kernel settings. It was simply a suggestion.

Yes thank you for this post. I don't see why recommending a rom in something like "general" chat would be questioned. But anyways, because of this post I'm now on this ROM and it's incredibly fast and stable.
I tried it but didn't like the gapps that came with it.
