WANT. I will be ordering this on my next payday. Just had one, but went a bit wild on my bank account at the bars this weekend. Ooops.
I did the 3 for 2 deal on Amazon. They arrived today and I've got to say, it's my favorite case to date.
It's not soft or extremely flexible, but it fits well and it looks good. The holes line up pretty well, too.
FYI - if you order the white argyle version of the case, for some dumb reason the argyle print is on the inside of the case and it's plain on the outside. No idea why they did that. I also got the green translucent one, but it's a bit more yellow than green.

Mine arrived today too. Not overly impressed with what is supposed to be a name brand premium case. Not bad, but my Mercury cases have more of a, high quality/premium feel to them.
I bought one of these cases. It actually feels awesome .. but
are you guys having issues plugging the charging port (the OEM cable)? In mine, the case is obstruct to some part of the microusb port.. so it does not go all the way. However, you can push it so hard for the port connector to fit properly. Thankfully I have a non-oem cable that has a very thin micro usb connector so it fits perfectly fine.

i got the green androidify case and i love it.. it fits perfect.. i had to take it off and put it on a few different ways to get it to fit properly.. but i love this case! fits great and looks awesome on my white note

Same thing happen to me on my Gnex. I emailed cruzerlite's support email and they sent a free replacement

I have the flygrip on my Note. I like it a lot. It isn't perfect, because it doesn't spin around like the wisefinger the original poster showed us.
Yes...the flygrip is nice. It is expensive though for what you get. It is very compact when locked closed. It would be nice if it was somewhat movable like the rings on the wisefinger, to give it a little more flexibility. I really liked how the wisefinger showed the phone being rotated and still usable. The flygrip does not have that luxury.
So...I am actually thinking about finding a wisefinger and trying it next. I will use better adhesive than that "static cling" crap they use though!
I will try to get a picture of mine with a flygrip in a few, and let you see it.

I am kinda digging the Wisefinger. I think that would work well on the shinny Cases like the speck and the SGP ultra thin case. It can also be used as a stand and easily removed and reapplied.
Anyone using one of these for the note yet?

You do know that this case is not made for the I717. It does not include the antenna and it does not snap into place correctly. You will have to take five minutes and use a file to correct the tabs. It will fit decent then, but not perfectly. Not sure what the antenna is for. I don't have LTE if that is what it is for so no biggy to me.
Then you can go one step further and get the Hyperion honeycomb TPU extended battery case which fits this battery door perfectly. With that case it is only slightly more bulky than my Seidio case was. Best thing I can still use this combination with my Seidio holster.
Just got mine today and it is still on the charger. I can't wait to put it to the test later.

Antenna is for NFC, not LTE.

I already stated in second post that the battery door will not fit the I717. You will have to make modifications. And the hyperion case will only fit that battery door which is supposed to be only for the n7000. But after you make the battery door fit the case fits perfectly.

I went ahead and snagged it for 7 dollars. At that price, it can be a spare even if the cover won't fit.

There are no other covers/cases available to form fit this extended back other than a cheap leather looking belt case or the hyperion noneycomb TPU case mentioned above.
I also wanted to add that if you're like me and have a white Note, there are color cases, too. I'm snagging the white one. It's a couple bucks more expensive, but for me it's worth it not to have another black phone.

They call come up if you search for "Hyperion Samsung Galaxy Note Extended Battery HoneyComb TPU Case" on Amazon and have the same "not compatible" blah blah blah info the black one does.

LTE has nothing to do with the back. the back is only for NFC.
I ordered this one. I have the other one (listed in the other thread) but they sent me a back that doesn't fit, the replacement back doesn't fit...if the back isn't going to be PERFECT...well, I'd rather have paid $7 for it than $20...and at least this version has a case that will work with it.

I got mine to day I will post a review after a few cycles btw the back is the one with nfc and the bump on it :-( and my back didn't fit properly but for $7 I won't complain

Its the bump that's just for the battery its kinda disappointing because i was hoping for the full curve but it doesn't bother me and the back has all the nubs in the right place but the bottom right and the nub at the very bottom of the right side don't stay snapped in

I got mine in today, and it was not the battery listed. The case for the back was not uniformly thicker--just around the battery itself. I didn't particularly want that kind, as I wanted the whole device to be wider. This was a trial-run to see if the Mugen battery was worth it.
In addition, it isn't the battery pictured on the website. The battery itself says it is only for the i9220.
A bit disappointing, but I m only out 7 bucks.

Seems the charging cable doesn't fit Only the USB sync cable fits the bumper,
But at least the battery life is great I fully charged it on the day of installing the bumper,
Used every day back and forth from work,
Read 5 comics, web surf and a few basic games
nice... going to order it... its super hard to find a simple case...

Don't compare it with decorative bumpers as the ones on the iPhone,
My iPhone 4 with the bumper didn't even survive a drop of my table to the wood flooring back glass cracked straight away in the corner,

It's not a bumper, but the clear plastic on the back is hard like normal plastic and the white "bumper" around the edges is made of a rubbelike material (hard TPU). And the thikness of the "bumper" gives good protection from falls The other advantage of this case is that it's not flimsy like the other TPU and silicone cases on the marked, thats why I want one

I've been surfing ebay and other sites for the perfect case, and I thought I'd ask if anyone might have seen one that comes close to my specifications.
I'm looking for a heavy duty case with port covers, kickstand, AND a protective film that overlays a screen protector. Also, I'd like to have a holster it slides into easy enough, with a swivel belt clip.
Now I know this may be an absurd request, yet I have found a few close candidates. The closest example I've is this no-name brand on ebay

As you can see, this closely fits my definition of a perfect case. 2 things wrong though. The kickstand is built as the belt clip, and the actual belt clip itself is flimsy. The way it attaches to the case is pretty bad. The belt clip lasted me a week before my coworker sat next to me at lunch and busted the thing.
Buuuut check this out!
This was the only case I've found that protects the camera! I thought that was pure genius!
Anyway, I've also come across the Ballistic MAXX and the Gorilla Glass Aluminum cases. They look great but no kickstand or belt holster.
Has anyone seen something along those lines? Is there a belt holster I can buy separately that will fit an encased phone? Hit this thread up with some responses! :good:

The 1st survivor case I purchased off eBay and it's very ordinary, it doesn't fit well and doubles the thickness of the phone, yes probably the only case I have seen that covers the camera but this case is cheap and nasty and feels horrible in my opion.

Well I've gone as far as to reach out to Seidio via email to request that their new OBEX Combo case that's "under development" could have implemented a couple more features. I think I read somewhere in another thread that some were able to convince a company to produce a new line for this same phone, so I am making the same attempt myself. We'll see how things go

I know about that case. Havent tried it yet. I just love the way this case looks, grey on blue is beautiful looking; a case that actually makes the ugly blue look good. Buttons are easy to push as well. You are right not the most protective but thats not what its designed to do

The SupCase Beetle is one of my favorites. Its a little bulky for me, however the fit and feel is one of the best that I have seen for the Nexus 6. I have around 15 cases (Spigen, Cruzerlite, TUDIA, SupCase, Nilkin etc...) and this one is one of my favorites. I haven't used it in a while since I use my leather backed Spigen Ultra Hybrid as my DD. My wife has the same case but in green for her Moto X 2014 and she really likes it as well.

My brown back is virtually black from dirt despite cleaning it . The adhesive is still holding up but it has seen better days. It started to attract a lot of marks in the past 2-3 weeks so I reconditioned it which helped make them less noticeable but it doesn't look brown anymore in most areas. The only area that's remotely the original color is the top 1/8th which I generally don't touch when I hold the phone. I was thinking about removing it to clean it up, however I don't have an adhesive strong enough to apply it without worrying about the leather coming off. The piece on the back of my phone (with the exception of some small marks) is fine since it never sees the light of day except when I clean my phone.
I was thinking about using my supcase again but I like the feel of the soft leather over hard plastic. I'll have to post a picture in my OP as an update so people can see how its help up over time.
Also I wanted to note that my first 2 supcases were defective but it was more of how amazon packaged them.

Do you want my ultra hybrid with the dark brown leather? i used it maybe three times tops. the distressed tan has been my DD and the brown is like new.
Maybe in my hand would be different but I dont like the shape/look of the supcase or diztronic

Thank you for the offer but its not bad enough to where I would replace it just yet. I have a piece of the brown leather still in its box that I can apply. I have a ultra hybrid with the football leather that I used a couple of times I could use but I don't like it as much as I thought I would. The bamboo is on my other one and its terrible to have exposed since it splinters easily. I've been using my Nexus 9 more during the day recently since I decided to give it another try after returning my original one back to Google. My phone has been sitting in its pouch in my bag a lot because of the rain. I was thinking about trying to use the other cases I have it giving a few away since they haven't been used in a couple of months now.
I wanted to also note that if you use the blue/frost SupCase and place or face down often or will get noticeably dirty around the lip. My black one looks brand new but the blue and been collect dirt more than I would like. Don't let that detract from there case itself which again it's still great. I have the beetle pro for my Nexus 9 and it's all also just as well made.

I have the same case $13 bucks on Amazon. It is great imo.
Don't really like the case, but for 1,80 it's basically a coffee so...
