The " BEST " Rom ever would be the one that meets the the needs of that particular individual. Everyone has a different need and requirement for a Daily driver.

Red is still sleeping i suppose. Dont young kids like that have all the energy in the world but they cant seem to wake up at a proper time in the morning

the best rom ever would make me coffee in the morning but that wont happen until Zuchini

MMM nice titties . Anyways if you can't decide on a Rom, do the obvious thing and try the most popular one. Common sense is too hard.

Jelly bean

I agree. The "best" rom is whatever meets a certain persons needs. A better question would be "what is your favorite rom"

If you have the I777, I'd suggest Tasks rom. For the international version, I'd suggest having a peak at their forum and just trying one. That's what I did, for my phone and I found the one I like and I'm sticking with it.

If you took Semi v14 and tweaked it.... it belongs in the ported section. If all you changed was the looks then you need to make a theme zip and put it in the theme section.
Your list is the same as AJ's list. So to me looking at the OP, it looks like all you did was theme it.

So u have an international version of this phone. Why not try the international i9100 forum? Also , nothing rooted into the touchwiz framework will work on aosp with a simple copy paste. The aosp rom would have to be heavily modified. Making it not aosp at all I suppose ha.good luck happy flashing.

You never know guys, because all ICS roms are based off I9100 bases, he could still have that as the XDA app signature default, so he may actually have an I777.
OP, sorry but I doubt it's possible. But I could be wrong.

@OP.. just as everyone says, Accuweather is touchwiz based and would not work on AOKP. If you want it you'll have to go back to a touchwiz based rom; also, posting the same question twice shouldn't be done.

Well, don't I feel ashamed. :silly:
I guess I haven't been on here lately enough. Back when ICS source code for I9100 was first released and I777 leaks were trickling in, it was my understanding that most ROMs were I9100 based because official ATT ICS leaks had an older firmware base, their kernels and ROMs were based off such old architecture that Entropy chose not to support the leaks. I even remember a mod accidentally moving a ROM thread to the Ported dev section because it was based off I9100 base, but he moved it back because the majority of the ROMs in development at the time were also I9100 based; the I777 based ROMs just weren't very good. I thought it had always stayed this way, but since I never payed much close attention to AOKP and other AOSP-like ROMs (I'm in the minority that actually like TW), I guess I didn't learn enough about them to know this wasn't the case, and/or that it had changed later (I have no idea which one is true).
In any case, this thread is done.

(Discussion) Blast To The Past

Does anyone else here go back to old ROMs for not only stability but memories as well? If so, tell me what ROM and why you want back. I'll start:
ROM: TeamObjection SGS3 ICS
Reason: I love the smoothness ICS OC kernels and the stability of ICS. Best of all its just like the ATT update!
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using xda app-developers app
I went back to ICS w/ custom kernel for BLN and apps. I figured I'd just save the JB experience for when I upgrade in a few months.
Have you been eating the special brownies again? Lol Do you reinstall Windows 98 for the hell of it too?
Just teasin ya!
I never looked back. Ice cream is melted over gingerbread to me. Once I tasted the jelly bean, it became the only one for me. That is until someone gives me a key to unlock some pie!
