Hello everyone!
I would like to buy the lapdock but I would first like to test WebTop mod through HDMI.
The problem is that I am on Neutrino 2.2 and I know it's not possible to add WebTop , so I was wondering what you think is the "best" ROM with Webtop mod including the hack HDMI?
I saw the NottachTrix4G but some people have reported problems of autonomy, the Aura, but it does not include directly the webtop.
I hope you can help me making my choice, thank you!
if your Atrix is from european distribution then I can recommend to you this rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1552971
pretty fast and stable rom with Webtop
Thanks for your reply, I have a French Atrix
I will give a try, can I manually add HDMI or it's already built-in ?
probabbly you can add HDMI mod but this feature is not included.
I have HDdock and Lapdock so I don't need this feature.
But you can try WetDream, but you have to flash faux kernel or ramfix after instalation.

Hello my friends,
i'm using the neutrino ROM in my atrix phone but I need a more stable ROM. A ROM with 100% of functionality or near that.
Which ROM you consider the most stable at this moment ?
Thanks for the attention
I use a variety of roms from the MIUI port to CM7 and all the way back around to Darkside and i have to say that Darkside is your best bet for a Blur rom if you want, it not i have found the CM7 ICS Final to be a stable CM7rom.

thanks for your reply. So, for you the ROM based on darkside is the best ROM (stable) at this moment. Do you tested the Neutrino ROM ?
thanks for the attention.
I think you have to better clarify what you mean by stable. You also allude to functionality which aren't entirely the same. To many, CM7 is stable, but if you're looking for BLUR functions, CM7 wont have that.
What functions/features are you looking for/must have and/or what are you missing?
I need use the Dock, HDMI output, video conference and support to other languages. I'm using Neutrino GT ROM. That's awesome ROM, with awesomes features but, for example, I having issues with simples functions as chosing other languages. I receive keyboard error and i cant find solution for that. That's is just example of issues.
Did you test this ROM ?
thanks for the attention
I would buy a lapdock, but I have a question, what is the best experience to use it? Currently I have a CM9 jokersax, I know there are different ways to use the lapdock:
1) Flash ROM based blur (but I love ics: D),
2) use a rom ics tablet UI,
3) flash nottachtrix dual boot and install full Linux Debian,
4) flash cm7 dual boot and install to SD webtop.
(I don't know if the last two are possible) what is the best method? If there are other ways, please write them. Thanks in advance for the answers and sorry for my English :/
I would wait for the official ICS upgrade, since Webtop 3.0 should offer the best speed with the lapdock, since its not running linux on top of android
First, you must decide if you want something that looks like a linux desktop, or the ICS tablet mode.
You can not get an X based system (standard Linux) on a non Blur based build. So if you want that, you either have to dual boot or punt ICS.
My feeling is that the ICS tablet mode is lacking. It REALLY needs the Moto 'vidia drivers to come out (Aug?) to get a more useable product. The present ICS builds are nice on the phone, but for me is a step down on the lapdock.
I just stick with Noat's flash (with a custom osh based on the "full Debian" mod) because I use the dock far more than the phone. I would like to use ICS though, but I will just wait till fall for this.
BTW, I use my lapdock 100% when on the road. Even for work.
Thanks I will wait the driver release(i don't hurry xD )
I tried webtop2sd with full debian and gentoo Linux on nottachtrix and found them way too slow. In my opinion paranoid Rom with tablet mode is the best but I guess it's also a matter of how you are going to use it and personal preference
Sent from my MB860 using XDA
I updated to ics since the very first leaked offical version and have no time till now. I find the version lagging and also the scrolling bug so now i have some time I wanted to reinstall a new ROM.
Which ICS ROM supported TV output? Seen most of the ROM description and none stated whether it works for tv output or not My internet is slow and just waiting for it to download can take 2hrs for one ROM.
I dont really understand what it mean by original android development and android development but I assume one is from a clean ASOP while another one is from stock rom. So i download one from each but turned out both tv output doesnt work. When I plug it into the tv the screen appear but the screen on the tv "hangs" there even when I am doing on my phone.
This is the two I tried:
[Rom][AOKP-B40](AROMA+OTA)[01/07]Resurrection Remix ics v2.5.2[4.0.4]
[ROM][4.0.4] PARANOIDANDROID v1.5a [CM9HYBRID][25/06/2012]
Still downloading
[ROM][LPF]FOXHOUND Revolver Ocelot|ICS|OTA|Performance|AROMA|31 May and it's still 1hr plus more to completed.
Can anyone kindly tell me whether this rom supported TV output?
Been searching for rom and the comments of each rom for around 3hrs plus le.
Hope some one can reply asap, thanks for your reply

I'm struggling to find the "I'm with stoopid" smiley, can you help?
CM9 does not currently support TV-out on the I9100, the one thing the OP specifically asked for. At worst you'll get a static image/no output, at best you'll get something when playing back videos only.
Now i know. Sorry.
Only stock Samsung has working tv output but all stock roms should work. If the rom is CyanogenMod or AOKP or AOSP or MIUI it will not work.

HEY GUYS, I'M BRAZILIAN AND MY ENGLISH SUCKS. I need help. I can't find a good and stable ROM (ICS, not JB) for my Atrix 4G. What is the most stable (without bugs and things that don't work, and so...) ROM and the one that more looks like the original ICS one (without many esthetics modifications)? Please guys, help me.

No current ICS/Jb Rom works 'without bugs'

That depends on what you need and what you don't. I am using Epinter's CM10.1, and it works as my daily driver. The camcorder doesn't work without lag (I don't need it anyway), bluetooth doesn't work (I don't use it much), no hardware acceleration or fingerprint sensor. As the previous answer specified, no ICS/JB ROM is perfect; but if you are willing to sacrifice some features to get the latest Android on your phone; I would suggest you go with Epinter's CM10 or 10.1.
Hey guys! this is Marco from Costa Rica, I´ve been around for a while but just created an account so I could ask something to what I haven't found an answer:
Is there any way to enable Swap support on stock JB for Galaxy S2? maybe through XPosed?
Or if not, do you know what's the closest ROM to stock that supports this, I know it might be a little naive, but I'd like to keep it as close to stock as possible.
Thanks and as we say here Pura Vida!
If your kernel supports swap you could look at this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2460068.
Alternatively you could use an app for such purposes.

that's the thing, I know my kernel doesn't support it I already checked with that app before, I actually want to use Roehsoft ram ezpander swap. But I really don´t know what kernel or rom to install so it works without loosing stock features that sometimes are taken out in roms
For the I9100G, this kernelhttp://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s2/development/kernel-blazing-kernel-v16-t2275275 works with stock rom and has swap support.
For the I9100 I don't know. Though I would assume most custom kernels support it. (or maybe not)
Also I can't really tell what you mean by "stock features".
