I haven't noticed that issue and I use a lit of music apps. I don't have poweramp. Does it happen when using any other music app? That should be the test right there

i used power amp and i never had this problem on my phone. try re-installing the app or follow glacier guy's advice try another app.
I know what your problem is, when the bass comes the music goes lower, you have to fix the EQ

Does anybody know how to fix music skipping, mainly pandora, while using infected eternity 1.3? It skips songs...and not kernal related.

Some people had this problem because of the headset jack. Seems the headset jack doesn't play well with some headphones. So the phine thinks you want to skip songs. There is an app on the market that solves this. I am pretty sure its called headset blocker. Not sure if this is your exact prolem but worth a shot.

Is it me or is the loudspeaker on the Note weak? I mean this is my third samsung phone, in all 3 phones the loudspeaker had to be turned all the way up to hear it enough. I had to sky rockets and 2 notes. When I'm using the speaker phone to talk to people it's very loud even at 50 percent. it's when I am listening to music or watch media I have to turn it all the way up to sound comfortable. I mean don't get me wrong, when it's a 50 percent you can still hear it but as far as the ringer is, It has to be turned all the way up to hear it completely. Even to listen to music at 50 percent,is really low especially when you're at work. This is my second Note, and they both sound exactly the same. Is this normal?

Anything lower than 50% you can barely hear it.. Sucks...

Hi...
Im using this as an Audio Enhancer... It may force close if you get a Voice call when you are listening to music. Just install it... Start playing music... then open DSP manager and adjust the setting in it... gives a decent bass effect with the stock headset itself....
Runs better with Google Music.... because once you run DSP Manager, you can control it from Sound Settings menu of Google Music...
Give it a try!
I was just thinking about this app n then you posted it.
But Bro you have any later version???

This works great on my Razr except for one issue. Whenever the player moves to a new song, it plays it at full volume irrespective of the volume I set it at. Anyone having similar issues? Any known solutions?

I have this issue with Google Music.... but when I use other players I wont get this issue!
So after reading some posts I see that there is supposed to be a red B in the task bar when playing music to signify beats audio is working... Well I have never seen this no matter what song I play or what music player I use. Any suggestions on why it's not working???

Only when the Audio Jack is in play. (I.e. earbuds, car, Bluetooth headphones)

It only shows when you have an audio output device connected, like headphones or Bluetooth devices.

I have a different device but I figure it may apply to beats in general. Mine just plain doesn't work. It's installed, I tried a redownload and reflash and it doesn't work at all. There's no icon, and when I change settings the sound doesn't do so.
Is anyone else having an issue where Beats Audio has NO effect on Spotify on the Liquid ICS Rom? Is there a possible fix on it other than installing another EQ.
Maybe try reflashing

It doesn't work with slacker either. No big deal. It'll get fixed eventually.

I've reflashed it a few times.
Anyway, for some odd reason when I installed an equalizer app, the beats audio started working with Spotify... seems a bit weird there :/

The equalizer app may have added a lib that spotify needs. What eq did you install?

It's called Music Volume EQ:

Did you uninstall this eq and it still worked? I think this eq took over where beats wasn't working and you're just thinking that beats is working.

I've had the sound cut out all together in Spotify. A reboot fixed. I've had a few other things wack out like chrome always freezing. I'm going to wipe and reflash. I'll let you know if that helped

awesome beats won't work with pandora either.
I was under the impression that beats only worked with the stock music player, but then that might be a stock limitation and not really matter when it comes to custom roms <.<

Awesome beats is just what they decided to call the dsp manager for cm9/cm10. It should integrate with and music app like it did on cm7.

Nope. I actually started enabling and disabling beats features while the song was playing, such as increasing bass etc and it was functioning. I didn't uninstall the the EQ, but I did close it by holding the power button down for an extended period of time.
I'll try your method again. I've tried several others but none of them work. So far volume + has worked the best.
