and after i install the drivers what should i do in the options of chainfire to make the games work smooth?
Sent from my YP-G70 using xda premium

install all the drives and lower the graphics..it will make them run smoother

wow.. I usually have 90-110mb free.
That's also using CM9 so maybe there are memory management bugs to be worked out.

with chainfire I had 170-200 free

180-220 with stock rom,without chainfire

I installed the drivers but i dont know what to do now..
I dont know how to lower the graphics

For those having problems, did you download the 600mb file for the game after install? If you're having trouble, the download page in the market gives a link to manually download the game from a computer then just load it to the phone. It's a huge game, so the tiny app download doesn't do anything but load the shell for the game.

Downloaded the tegra version from the website as well as the usual download. Either way, nothing works, logcat shows a module crashing. I wonder if it's related to the version of the firmware on the phone. Bell users have ye old firmware that probably wasn't tested.
That could be the case. I have version 1.57.

Does not work for me either. tried several things to fix it but still crashes on boot.
I assume the fact it won't run has something to do with the price drop.
Not a great way to start hyping tegra 2 gaming

There is an update out for it now, hopefully it fixes the issues.
Edit: installed update and the game still hangs and shuts off
Doesn't work for me, shows the title then goes back to homescreen.
I tried to move to external SD card. It also does not work
Try this apk. Works great on mine
As for sdcard file, i download it from here

Tried to run on G-ROMf1. I waited for about 10 minutes while game was loaded. Then I heard sound with VERY heavy lags(1 fps in 3 seconds) Then optimizes to 10 fps/s but still heavy lags.
Will try to optimize it and give my view
Overclocking to the max??
Yeah Samsung video drivers may work as it has all the graphic extensions implemented..but will be laggy coz of less optimized coding done..as tom said..
cm7 and cm9 users have to wait for fully working of openfimg..it may be our last chance to check our gpu's performance... and I also think our ram is also not sufficient to run temple run..
played this game for a while start up is lagy after when game start still so lagy with cf3d then delete cant play a which lag so much.
Tried the free version barely worked and it isn't even that fun on my S3 imho not worth it.

SGS3 RAM problem

Why my S3 has big RAM usage after about 4 days use? I checked RAM in taskmanager and about 500+MB of RAM is in use. At that time, my high-end games ,like amazing spiderman, start to lag and sometimes it even closes itself.I think this happens because it had not enough free RAM.So, I had to restart my device to lower RAM usage(only 200+MB RAM is in use, just after restarting). Why is that? Why RAM usage grows bigger if I didn't restart my device in 4 days? I've tried to limit Backgroung Processes in developer options of setting, but not working. It seems I should restart my phone everyday to get the full performance of my phone.
Any suggestions??
THx...

I would have thought the inbuit task manager would handle all this, from what i've read it is excellent. I normally go a week or two before a restart. But i only play games like sprinkle an angry birds.

If you play some games which need a lot of memory android will kill other apps, that are running in the background to free the needed memory. Android is not windows! It will not run out of memory. Even the applauncher gets closed if it's necessary. I play heavy games to (nova 3) and there are no lags, so ram is not the problem I think.

no issue with spiderman game here , one bad thing it require wifi to be on whenever gameplay is needed , did you force shut or freeze the apps ?

Best rom for gaming.

Looking for the best rom for gaming.
Been playing nova 3, 69p at the moment.
And real racing 2.
Both games lag at times.
Can anyone recommend a rom and kernel combo which they find works very well, Im looking for the best.
I'm currently on foxhound 1.4.4, using siyah kernel, the rom itself is the best I've used, however when gaming on the said two games I get lag.
Any help, pointers or suggestions is appreciated.
Cheers.

Really? What games have you played on that rom? Any of the two that i mentioned?
thanks for replying.
It doesn't really matter, most tw roms are the same anyway except for a few cosmetic changes.
What you need is to overclock your gpu when playing graphics intensive games, siyah will let you oc the gpu up to 700mhz and still be stable (it goes up to 800 but it's not stable)

If you NEED to overclock one of the most powerful GPU's for mobile devices around, then there is definitively something wrong with your game...
well dead trigger runs really well, even with tegra 3 graphics switched on, now i know that real racing isn't optimized very well and i've only just played nova 3 this once, but surely it should work well on the S3, and fyi, theres nothing wrong with my device m8, i've tried this on about 4 different s3's and all yield the same results.
The games are all paid for versions too.
Maybe i'm not ocing the GPU, i hadn't touched it but will check it out.
Cheers.
What are you using to OC your gpu?
thanks.

I agree completely, mine is at 440mhz and I have no problem with any games I play (gtaIII asphalt mini motors etc) but I do know that some games are very badly optimised and need an extra bit of grunt to get them to run smoothly.

i dont think roms have anything to do with playing games! some apps may FC in some roms though, generally a fast rom will be ideal :good:

I have a fast rom (foxhound) nothing much installed, killed all 3rd party apps with autostarts.
Using Siyah and although the games run at an acceptable frame rate, i think there is some lag still present.

Gameloft games?

I know it's possible to play some games on the X10; I wanted to get Order and Chaos running on mine. I can get it to install, and download the data, but when it goes to check the license it force closes. Is a cracked apk the only way to get this and other Gameloft games to play on the X10? I just purchased 3 others that claim compatible with my X10, but when I install give a Device not supported error. Just changed my build.prop to spoof it into thinking it's a Desire HD, but will I still get the FC when it checks the license? Even though they are legitimate, purchased games?
